With this application you can: 1)accurately measure the instantaneous power consumption (kW) of your home. This value is derived capturing at least two consecutive flashes emitted by the LED on the counter, and detected by the SENSOR CAMERA or brightness of your Android device. You can then easily calculate the power of each electronic equipment in operation. 2) graphic display of the performance of the power consumption of your home!
Procedure for the calculation of the instantaneous power : 1) Make sure that the intensity of the ambient light is less than the threshold value2) Press the center button to start the measurement mode 3) Place the camera or the light sensor of the your device at the flashing red LED 4) Wait at least 2 flashes for the instantaneous energy consumed

Strangely, even with very little ambient light, this was not able to detect the flashes from my meter in any way. The full page ads are intrusive, and the light sensor based measure crashes. So have not persisted.
I tried this app and it actually seemed to work, so I purchased to remove adds and try the remote feature, but got neither! Very frustrating. You have been warned. And I cannot find email address of developer

does exactly what it says on the tin - excellent! although there is a graph function that crashes the app on my phone!
It just works... I don't know why so much reviews are saying that it does not... Just put the camera of the phone to the LED on the electricity meter and press Count OFF to turn ON.
