Electrify Canada
Using the Electrify Canada app, you can become a Pass+ member to save with every charge (low monthly fee applies) or simply join as a Pass member for easy pay-as-you-go charging. Members check charger availability including real-time status of the current session, navigate to a convenient location and start a charge with a tap of a phone. Once a vehicle is charging, monitor its charging status easily via the app while away. Electrify Canada charging stations support all CCS (SAE Combo) and CHAdeMO-compatible EVs with powerful DC Fast chargers, as well as other EVs with Level 2 chargers.

Input all required information accurately 6 times but it told me there was a credit card input error (which there wasn't) so I couldn't sign up. I called and was told someone would call me back with a solution but noone has yet. I only hope I can use the charging station in Barrie without the app. After the recent update everything now seems to be fine.
The App crashes almost every time I use it. Brand new Samsung phone. I just got a new firmware update. Uninstalled and reinstalled to no avail. I need this App,as I have free charging for 2 years. Time to spend a few hours at the station and on the phone with support to see if I can get it fixed
Functionally it works just fine, but app runs in the background and constantly crashes. "Electrify Canada has unexpectedly stopped" pops up once or twice a day. Even when I haven't opened it that day.
Downloaded app and tried to put in location where I was...standing in front of the charging station. Location does not exist! I connected car and followed instructions and credit card declined. Went to BC hydro station and now charging. So now I deleted the useless app
The app requires $10 and credit card to sign up. There are practically no locations on this network. The station locations on electrify Canada official site is different to actual stations. Also watch out the app tries to get you to sign up for premium plan where you pay $4 a month regardless whether you charge with their station or not. At the rate listed it costs $17/hr+ to charge. All EC stations also require this app to initiate charging so they are useless if you don't have signal.
Not very many stations in Canada but the app is great. If the app doesn't work for you, a credit card works. But I couldn't tap or swipe. I had to insert the card at the bottom of the reader. And when you are in a hurry, the chargers deliver a legitimate 100 kW. And they work! Unlike many others across the country.
Trying to log in over internet connection that I just used to download the app. The app says, "Ooops. Sorry. Please check your internet connection." The one that's working perfectly. Unlike the app. Very glad I tried it before I actually needed it. Volkswagen needs to do a lot better.
Really annoying how every time I go to use it, it says session expired and I have to sign in again, why? No other charging app does this. Why are Electrify Canada and America apps not interchangeable? It wouldn't be as big an issue if the American app actually accepted Canadian credit cards which it doesn't.
This app crashes constantly. I have to try and open it 7 or 8 times before it finally opens. Very frustrating. Really no excuse for how bad this app is!
This app requires you to give them permission to automatically bill your credit card if your pre-paid ballance falls below a set amount. This is rediculous. People like me who only rarely use fast chargers shouldn't have to pay for a service that they might never use. There is only one of these Electrify Canada chargers in my area, and unless they change this policy I will be using flo, or Chargepoint instead.
The few chargers that are around work well and deliver on their 100+kW advertised speed. Which is far more than can be said for the app. Not sure why I bothered paying member pricing when it I can't start a charge as a member by NFC or app.
Going Nowhere with Electrify Canada There's not a single charger in Northwestern Ontario. While it is understandable that their network is growing, they could at least do you the courtesy of pointing you towards the other chargers that are in the area. Hopefully I will be able to update my review in the future and have better results with their service.
Crashes a few times. Loading screen could be removed. Would be nice to have charging curve for session.
App is just ok. Not as user friendly as others. The reason for the 2stars is the astronomical price to charge my ev. 50 kw cost me 24$ where as others are almost half the price for faster chargers. Was only a 150 charger as well
Warning! App sucks your phone battery dry really fast. Restrict battery and mobile use and restrict background processing. Killed my battery in under a day just in background use. Fix your app!
App doesn't work, mentions to verify payment information but doesn't allow edit. Payment at the station was not available either. Terrible experience
Very few charging stations. Unless you live in the GTA, you're out of luck. No chargers in Muskoka/central Ontario. More partnerships with Canadian Tire would be a good idea for all the major towns north of the GTA. Provincial Parks (ex. Algonquin entrance gates/tourist info centres) should also be considered.
Can't create an account without a credit card, and won't accept a valid credit card. Tried several times with multiple cards, all rejected.
Sign up process is bugged. All info entered is correct, including payment info but the next button does not activate.
No integration with Electrify America. Do I need to download a separate app for the US stations? Do I need yet another accont?
Kia and hyundai driver are getting hosed being charged at 125 rate only getting 74. Go to petro canada if its nearby no app required and .27 cents per kw

The worst app ever
New version of the App deleted my credit card payment info but let me start a charge anyway. The session ended 2 minutes later and the app wouldn't let me restart another session. It produced a very general error message with no mention of payment or credit card issues. Thankfully another driver mentioned that it had happened to him too. After re-entering the credit card info things worked again.
