The Pure i App is the companion app to the Electrolux Pure i robots.

Horrible experience, the app hangs constantly, it's really slow, and the device itself stopped working after 10 months, mysteriously, and the customer support don't know how to fix it... It's amazing how a group like Electrolux ships something as expensive as this, with the lack of quality and refinement you'd expect. My advice: don't bother with this one, UX makes me angry every time I use it and if you encounter errors, don't expect much from customer support.

Device: 2nd or 3rd device. Batteries are hopeless. I give the one star for how well it cleans, it does that well. It's poor on navigation, even though it maps the house, it still gets confused. Rarely finds its way home after a second round. No Google Assistant integration. I blame how awful the AI is on the fact they use Microsoft Azure cloud. The app is awful, considering how it maps the house it makes it very hard to add areas to zones without starting again. After 2 years, disappointed.

Stay away and get a Roomba. Just awful after most recent update. We have all the zones programmed, but it only cleans one or two of the four that we scheduled. It no longer cleans the whole area (but says that cleaning is complete) nor does the avoidance zone feature work very well, if at all. I wish I could upload screenshots of the maps here, but it's been awful.

Brilliant, Excellent, Easy to Use, Super thorough! This machine can jump over some wooden edge, has its own character, clean so thoroughly, even the side edges, run the machine and comes home, all Clean up! App is EASY TO USE, NO ISSUE, you can set to where you want it to clean. Only thing is, the sound is a tad bit loud but then this fellow did such a great job, it no longer matter the sound! My flat is 100sqm, took an hour or so. We love it and will never use vacuum again. Highly recommended!

It works, but I couldn't connect to my unsecured WiFi and had to add a password. It is worth pointing that not everyone has to have secured WiFi. And second serious overlooked thing is the app does not show the battery state. At some point I thing it's essential information to manually start robot and it would be great feature if the app would show the total power use.

The robot cannot be paired with the app in a normal way. The error message says "No connection to the cloud". Eventually I have discovered that the robot creates the own wireless network while upside down. When I switched the phone into this network (rather than the true wireless network I use), the app suddenly passed the first activation step! For the following steps it needed the true internet again, hence I switched back. Eventually I managed to get through but cannot give many stars for all this adventure, sorry. This app is identical by interface to AEG RX9 and even accepts the same login credentials. Huawei P9 Plus.

App is terrible. vacuum always shows the dust bin is full & just goes over the same area each time it starts then will go a bit further but never gets the whole room done as it has to recharge then does the same thing again. Hardly any dirt in the bin even though it's a big bin. There is no way to get it to start from where it stops to continue cleaning. Need a remote not an app.

I tried the app on my Samsung S7 and my daughter's iPad. Sometimes it actually works 😁 but very very rarely 😔. The vacuum itself is really good but the app is so bad it's a joke. I guess Electrolux are experienced at making vacuums but not apps. The really should not be selling this item becomes it is dependent on the app. Sometimes it never loads and when it does it just keeps saying "searching" or "not available" or "no connection to the cloud" please Electrolux your customers payed a lot of$

We love washington (our son named him), does some funny patterns som times and gives us a bit of amusement with his directional skills but all in all he is now the hardest working member of our family. He regularly does his chores and has alleviated my sinuses dramatically. The app I feel could use some work though. We tested and set him up on and iphone and Samsung phone and all went well however when we installed the app on our Airtouch4 (air conditioner etc) wall mounted android based tablet, we found that the app itself rotates to portrait mode when the tablet is fixed to the wall in landscape orientation. Although amusing to watch people turn their heads sideways when showing of the new system it would be preferable to have them see the system work in all its landscape glory. So far I cant find anyway to force the app into landscape mode, Please let me know if there is a solution to this issue, or if there are other apps the ipure9 can connect to?

Since a recent (day or two ago) server side change of some sort the map no longer updates. It was always behind the actual position of the vacuum, sometimes by some considerable time, but at least that was better than nothing. Now we get nothing. This app is a consumer product. Where are your faults people? Do you test your changes or just release them and hope? Please fix this. When the app is working right this little vacuum is a marvel.

Battery capacity too small, can't complete a 50m² floor area (tile flooring). Custom cleaning, only 2 out of 10 it'll works. Cleaning schedule, it don't save the new schedule, it's really a pain using the app. Should not get any star because it's getting noisier after 4 months of using. Terrible terrible product Pure i9. Can't purchase anything from Electrolux.

Useless software. Alot of bugs need to be fix. Wifi detection not good. Always search device...sometime found device but a lot of times device not found. Schedule cleaning program need improvement. I think you can do better with more software upgrading. Look forward. Tks

I seem to only have problems with the app every few months and it wont allow you to do a custom clean. It is very frustrating. Otherwise the actual machine itself is great when it works.

Terrible..only manage to connect the app to the machine after some Google and attempt. Second day onward it keep showing searching forever searching. Tried uninstall and install , ipad , registered new id,, didable 5mhz wifi , reboot, on another android phone etc all cannot work. Very dissapointed that you spend so much money and not come with remote and app not working. I need to manually press the play button every day now. Total dissapinrnent. Worst is after reading comment ..all same issues

What i miss, and i am not sure if it can be programmed, is to send the i9 to the place hi missed during his cleaning. Sometimes he just does not go to some area, even there is no reason for that. Nothing in the way etc.. he has just bad day and refuse to clean in some spots 😁😁 otherwise its decent app

Every time it updates, the app stops working. It is now not showing me any map etc, or sending me messages when it is completed. I get it to work one month, then it stops the next. Not impressed

DO NOT UPDATE. Absolutely useless since update. Cannot change floor plan/zones or schedule without it crashing. It also spends a ridiculous amount if time wandering around, not cleaning, like it is lost. Takes twice as long to clean my house. Wish I could undo the update

There's a problem with the map, after the new update for the robot, it doesn't show any more where the robot and I can't select rooms any more, if i select one room or more then is doesn't do nothing, and every time it cleans it don't show up in the history, I'll edit my review after new update

Had trouble initially getting connected. Eventual success. Does what it claims. Would like to be able to program it to do specific cleans. Eg just 1 or 2 areas.

It has been almost 1 year since I own the Pure i9 robot. There has been about 4 software updates so far. With each update. The robot vacuum operates more intelligently and efficiently. last year my rating for this machine was 1 star. Today it is only fair that I give them a 4.5 star for the performance of machine , the robustness of the machine. and the intelligence built into the machine with each software update.

Latest firmware erased the map and now it says no history recorded. Great. And the robot becomes dumber after every firmware upgrade, going round and round the same spot.

The app does not offer skipping registration. Why register for accessing the features of the appliance I fully paid? Why accept another contract? Obviously I should have checked the app before buying the gadget.

Fix the god damn App!! This robot cost thousand over buck but the stupid app keep crashing. For a moment i go in the app it shows its cleaning. Another moment shows that its pause. If not unable to connect. FIX THE DAMN APP

In June 2021 I bought this robot cleaner. Without app it's worthless! I spent 500€ for nothing and I feel extremely disappointed. This app doesn't work. Wellbeing (not that well after all eh?) is "not available in my country". Called Elextrolux latvia, they said it will passed to IT. Yea right. If I saw these reviews before this bad purchase I'd never ever buy this 5hit.

Biggest and most expensive piece of garbage i have ever purchsed. Could not connect to 3Dvision wi fi. Electrolux have done everything to stop returning a dud product, had it for 6 weeks now, it and the app are rubbish

Updated review: after several reinstall attempts and internet NBN upgrade it all finally worked. Previous problem was: * No maps shown on app * No History shown * Cant update robot software- error s417 * Resets applied cleaning schedule
