Electrum Bitcoin Wallet

Pretty much unusable. You have to use the in-app keyboard which guesses which letters come next in your seed phrase and blocks out the others so you can't click them. But it apparently doesn't have an extensive list of words because it blocks off letters that would lead to a legit word. The app also crashes constantly and doesn't recognize when you've pasted something, so you can't go to the next screen.

This program look very wonderful almost all in 1 platform. Nice one. Please i can i reset my wallet since it in offline and i don't know how to put it online. Many thanks for your great support.

This app works great on desktop and on mobile. My previous review I said it didn't, but that was because I was trying to restore my wallet and was entering the wrong seed phrase. The "Next" button will only appear if you enter a valid seed phrase. Great work by the developers.

Electrum is the worst mobile wallet I've faced so far. It doesn't give you the keyboard to enter the key phrases to import your wallet, even though it expects you to. While it lets you paste the phrases, it doesn't enable the next button after you paste it. Moreover, on your old wallet, you cannot even display your own private key to be able to scan to the new phone's wallet!!!

Sent btc to two separate alternative wallet addresses and the funds never showed up I have 100+ confirmations but have yet to find the funds

Tremendously frustrating to use, bordering on non functional. Logs you out or freezes every time you switch back to it from another app. Impossible to enter text or paste an address in the address field. I would only recommend this to people that I don't like and want to see miserable.

I'm new to this, so hopefully my observations are valid. Here's some ideas: The ability to rename wallets would be handy. If I delete the default wallet I'm forced to create one again at next login despite having other active wallets in app. Would be nice to set fee manually even if Electrum has a floor price to allow for accurate accounting. Further to this, allow fee to be deducted from payment rather than added on so it's possible to transfer 100% of balance.

Design is lacking, but functionality seems to be in place. I use it as a watch only wallet, was able to rebroadcast my transactions and shows my transactions properly. Biometric authentication would be nice, but on my phone I am able to add it to any app, so it's not something urgent for me.

Terrible app. Can't create a new wallet, can't restore from a seed, can't duplicate from QR. No matter what option you choose, the "next" function is grayed out and you can't continue. Worthless app. Update Feb 6 2020: I can create wallets now. Was able to receive a transaction, have yet to try sending. Changed to 3 stars from 1.

Excellent app. Lots of functionality like wallet restore, access to private keys and other technical stuff. It also gives clear error messages when a transaction fails like due to insufficient funds or amount unable to cover network fees. Great work.

This update inshould have included "Password (Old PIN)" IN APP. Who the eff do you guys think you are? Just lost connection to my wallets and said wrong password. I had no idea it was the PIN until I read the update notes in the play store! Unacceptable.

Can't use at all. It won't let you enter your seed string from an existing wallet. It lets you waste your time typing it in and then... nothing. You simply cannot press the next button. Only the back button. Garbage. Don't understand why the wallet works great on a Linux pc but this Android app is literally useless.

Best mobile wallet available. Everything from setup with digital keyboard to pnemonics and anti keystroke measures for security . Its a very secure app . I love being able to scan wallet QRs . I love having multiple addresses to use Fornrecieving sending so i never have to use the same twice. Ive been using for over 4 years on desktop on mobile . Perfection. Also love being able to spend coin not yet confirmed. And see incoming deposits . Makes me feel at ease. When tranferring large $

The UI could be improved but it works great. I use this Android version mainly as a security device: I have a 2-of-2 wallet so I create new transactions on the computer and confirm them on mobile. Extremely safe and easy to use.

Forgot to update after the issue was resolved, my bad. Works perfectly once again. Thanks! 100% sure that the poor reviews below are all due to the Samsung webview app issue. Electrum continued to work fine, a Samsung update caused the issue for many Samsung users.

As a desktop application, I love it. As a mobile app, it has a long way to go. For one, the UI is not very intuitive. The fact that you can't add more than one address to a wallet shows that this app isn't a finished product. I think a lot of work needs to go into this app before I would use it on a regular basis.

The app is dated but works for me. To all the folks having issues with the seed, I've never done it that way - I've always imported private keys and have been able to combine wallets and different parts of different wallets (all electrum desktop wallets) which has been pretty cool for me

This is probably the best wallet in existence! Anyone who has anything bad to say about the Electrum wallet obviously does not have any idea what wallets are used for or simply failed to research the wallet. Anyone who complains about security and doesn't understand why everything must be typed out every time obviously doesn't understand security or never read the Privacy Policy of Microsoft and the one for the device they are using! (If you have electrical tape over your camera, you get it!)

When creating the wallet I can't copy the seed so that I can save it in an encrypted wallet. If this app is gonna be this difficult on the very first step, then I'm going to use another wallet as who knows what else is awkward, difficult and badly designed in this app. Uninstalling.

When creating a new wallet from an existing seed, and you reach the create password screen, the keyboard doesn't appear so you can't enter anything. This really is not good enough. Considering how many people use this app, you should at least run a beta program to catch this sort of thing.

It's an excellent wallet, you just have to learn how to use it, then it becomes extremely useful. I hate that people are posting some bad commends due to ignorance. Also, it helped me accelerate some transactions when other wallets wouldn't let me

Looks like I'll have to start using a different wallet. Sent $5 to a buyer, actually sent $20 from my wallet. Buyer verified with proof they received only $5. No idea where the other $15 went and thanks to the nature of BTC, I'll never see it again. Seems fishy. Uninstalled from my PC and Android. EDIT: Made a final transaction for about $10. Fees were around $3.50 - which begs the question, where did the other $15 go from the original complaint transaction?

Trying to restore wallet and app will not let me press next button. I have the exact seed words as I have a picture of the screen when it was generated by the electrum app. Stay away from this app if you need to restore.

The best wallet for desktop and quite good for mobile devices! It's a bit slow on mobile when you launch and has fewer features than on desktop, but still great!
