It works well. Routing and account numbers easily accessed. Most functions are simple and fast. The check deposit feature works but is a little bit clunky. The camera integration is not great/not centered and view finder doesn't match the picture taken. It also regularly does not detect corners, the endorsement, or the written "for mobile deposit only". Biometric fingerprint login is nice.

Much worse at check deposit than the business app. I used both ECU apps regularly, but submitting checks with this one is much worse. Even once you have disabled the flakey "auto capture" feature, there seems to be more error checking in place on check images. Every single check I have scanned has some problem. Either it can't read the date or the amount it scans is different than what I entered. Also, you can't log in with biometrics or a pin so you are stuck typing in your internet password.

Elevations Credit Union App is user friendly. You can decide yourself on what kind of notification you get. As an example low account balances, withdrawals, deposits you can opt for this or not and you can set the amount when you will receive your notifications. There are many other features as well. So it's an easy 5 🌟

In general the app is easy to use, and I am glad to have it. The check deposit function, however, has had many glitches. The latest "update" has a super annoying voice direction as though it were necessary, and now always makes me go back to check the Pic for something which I have already done, or retake the pics when they are clear. -annoying.

The app gets 3 stars, the institution itself easily gets 5! Love having a relationship with ECU, if you live in the Front Range area their convenience, service, and credit union features are unbeatable. Especially love the monthly waivers on ATM fees and monthly bill payments. The app is an little clunky, not as smooth as some new FinTech apps but not that far off legacy banks like Chase. The previous version was kinda horrible but the latest overhaul fixed a lot of the issues.

I had the back of the check facing the wrong way & the camera kept taking photos while I was movint the check. Maybe I missed the instruction to have the signature on the right hand side? When it asked me if I could read the check, the image was really small. I wear reading glasses & would have liked to been able to enlarge/zoom in on the photo so I could see the details more clearly. I had to use a magnifying glass!

It worked for a while for check deposits, the picture of the check didn't work quite right at times. Now it askes for a code that it sends to my phone. I got the text message, texted it back, but then had to go back to the app. It never responded. It just sat there. Hung or something. I tried it again and still the same result. NOTHING. Really annoying, now I have to go into the bank to deposit my check. Not ready for prime time in my opinion.

I opened my first account with Elevations since I was 8. Now almost 30, I still have the exact same account. I have never had a single problem, and I love the app. It's incredibly easy to use - transfers, mobile check deposits, all your account info, everything you need right on the app. Super straight forward, no questions asked. I haven't been to an actual branch in years, though the employees are always friendly and helpful. Thanks guys!

pretty straight forward to use. no unnecessary items to clutter the screen. two things I would do: Tell the user what they need to put on the back of the check before they do a mobile deposit When asking user to verify that the information on the front is visible make it such that the user can actually zoom in on the check.

Mobile deposit is very cumbersome. I always need to use manual capture. The app is bare bones and seems to not have alot of development put into it compared to other banking apps. It could use an upgrade to the user experience to make it easier to find information and have more functionality.

I REALLY like the app, especially since I live 1200 miles away! I do have a problem sometimes with how long it takes to process, and then it halts to ask if I can read something that is perfectly readable to me. But the buffering starts all over again.

Easy to use. You get alerts hours before they do maintenance on the app so you won't be able to use it for a while but usually they happen pretty late at night. Besides that all the functions work just fine.

I am fine with the App. It is decent, not the greatest but not the worst either. My biggest gripe is not with the App.. its their tranfer fees.. when I joined elevations years ago there were barely any fees.. now you charge me $3 for a transfer fee from my savings? When did Elevations resort to garbage big bank tactics..? guess ill have to start shopping for a new credit union again...

Easy to use and navigate. Only problem I've noticed is when depositing a check, the camera angle gets flipped. Just have to click the button again.

Important piece of information dont appear long enough. When it tells me to write mobile deposit to use the check deposit feature, the info is there for a half second before the picture snaps. I had to back out of the app 3 times just so icould read the information. Please adjust your auto camera speed and let me back k out of the app without having to hard close it

The gold standard of banks in Colorado. App is fire fast & as anyone who has reached out to Elevations... they have outstanding, consistent customer support interactions w/results. Not trying to be cheesy, but they've always been there for me when I've needed financial services on all fronts for the past 18 yrs. The app is very stable & allows on the fly transfers b/w accounts/CC's/loans etc. Depositing checks via the app is swift & convenient. Bank provides incredible fair interest rates also.

it asked me repeatedly to confirm if the photo was correct for depositing a check. i haven't had that issue with my other bank app. Also it announces "auto capture mode" through the speaker when I deposit a check, which I don't like when I'm sitting in a quiet place. Otherwise seems good so far

It won't even let me log in! And I have the right credentials. The deposit a cheque feature on their website is also a pain. I'm afraid I would avoid these methods entirely and stick to the brick-and-mortar in-person services, though I'd love to have a more convenient online option that works.

Great app functions great primary features are at the bottom for quick access, only issue I have is when I do check deposit the steps to take the pictures are screamed at me super loud even with volume turned down. I haven't found a setting to turn that feature off.

I love the Elevation cu app. It helps me to see where my accounts are. Also the deposit checks fiture is great. However, I would like to write a note so it is place in the respective category in my checking account. I hope you can make this change. Thanks

A really useful app. It's secure and really easy to use. You can customize notifications and get text alerts as well. Move money to savings and checkings accounts a few times without a charge. Would highly recommend not just the app but definitely the bank as well.

Great app, lots of features and does what you need it to. Dock one star because the mobile check deposit functionality is simply AWFUL. Get rid of the annoying voice constantly telling you what to do, and make OCR better - handwriting that is processed no problem on my US Bank app does not go through on the elevations app.

Deposit mechanism +CLICK+ noise is crazy loud when capturing an image, and cannot be turned off. This is anywhere from unhelpful to actively annoying depending on the time of day. Otherwise, ok. Fix this for more stars. There's no excuse.

New member, but no bugs so far. Super friendly and helpful and patient customer service team. Please consider removing the ability to tab to your account and other options while engaging in a customer service chat. I had to be helped by 3 or 4 different (awesome) people in 1 session because I kept accidentally stabbing into my account and exiting the customer service chat window

I've been banking with Elevations for over 10 years. I appreciate the credit union ATM system, I only wish there were more credit unions across the country to accept deposits. Elevations is continuously improving their digital experience, recently enabling smooth Mint integration. I'm looking forward to seeing them offered as a Zelle approved credit union.

Overall I've been very pleased by the performance and reliability of this app. I've used a few different banking apps in my life and quite a few are prone to glitches and errors. I have not experienced many issues on my Pixel XL while using this app.

This is the second check I have tried to deposit with no success. I took multiple pictures and I keep getting the same error messages. This app has been totally worthless to me. And just adds frustration. Bad-bad-bad.

The app is pleasant. The deposit function almost always makes me take the picture multiple times and then tells me to keep verifying it looks good a few more time. Frustrating but not the end of the world.
