Update- The developer was quick to reply to my issues and is working on rectifying these issues. "The recording feature does not work, it says that it is soon to be coming. As well, I downloaded the audio and video so that I could listen to them when driving two weeks ago and now just tried to listen to audio clips and I now have to re download the video and for the audio I get an error message saying audio error." When you get such support from an app developer, you can see that they really care about their product and for that I have change my review and Highly recommend the app. The content is extremely helpful. Thank You for your support.

Great if you have internet- All kinds of downloading issues, but it looks like I'm not the only one and it's being addressed. Will change rating in the next week. Even if I'll be able to download and watch the video and audio clips, it's pretty inconvenient to have to select each individual category (ex.sound, sequence) noise (ex.calf call) then A/V clips. My guess is close to 80 separate downloads. Please include "download all" option on next update. Great content, strictly tech issue.

The app design and audio quality of real elk sounds arent great. The audio is good but there isnt a lot of content and the app design is functional but rough around the edges. Overall its a good app to have and I look forward to this years elk season. As well it has already helped me improve my call. But ultimately for the price I expected better quality audio, more content and better app design.

The video controls are overlapping under my phone's controls which means I can't fast forward or rewind any of the videos. Usually, in these situations, i would just rotate my phone horizontally and the controls would be orientated to a different location but, this app does not allow it. There app itself has some useful stuff but its easier the find the info for free without having to restart the video and sit through it multiple times. Scott G P. S. I have a galaxy s10.

After 12 years wasted not calling, finally got an archery elk this year. I owe it all to this app. Great lessons and information on how to use each type of call and sequence. All the situational variables that work with different sequence. Paul is very well educated in the field and you'd be a fool not to pay the small price to gain this amazing learning tool.

A wealth of elk knowledge...at your fingertips! Even out in the field. Paul has made an absolute must have app if you want to really understand elk communication and improve your calling ability. I cannot recommend this app more highly. Every one of us in elk camp each have this app. Worth 10x the price. Don't slow play it, just buy it and use it!

Growing up on the East Coast I knew very little about elk hunting or elk calling. I found this app and bought it. All I can say is it is worth every penny. The the ability to record yourself and compare it is super helpful. I really like the fact they give you sounds of real elk and also the Elk Nut himself to compare yourself to. All the tips tactics and call sequences are top notch. The tactics and sequence info is a powerful tool to have in you pocket in the woods. Thank you for this app!

During a lull in the day, me and a buddy found a place to take a break. I opened up the ElkNut app and wanted to hear certain cow sounds so I could practice. After playing the sound on mid volume, a bull sounded off about 100 yards away! If anyone has any doubt if these sounds are legit, trust me, they are the real deal!

This app is the perfect tool for the elk fanatic that wants to communicate and actually know what you're saying! The record and playback option are a game changer! The most valuable tool I've purchased for hunting! Id rate it 10 stars if it were possible!

I only recently purchased the app but I'm very pleased with it. Lots of good content and it is definitely changing/improving my approach to and psychology of elk hunting. I had a question about one part of the app and emailed support. They responded and resolved my concern within minutes... Very impressive.

Shhh... don't tell anyone about this app! It definitely gives you an advantage over other hunters! The ElkNut app is a great resource for elk hunters to help give them an edge in the field when hunting tricky elk. Paul & his crew have put together a fabulous collection of go to calls and information that walks you through just about any situation you may run into on the mountain. It make sense out of what the elk are doing or trying to say, giving you real tools to use when you most need them!

Awesome app for learning elk vocalizations and more importantly when and how to use them. Interactive and allows you to record your sounds for constant improvement. Great for the seasoned and new elk hunter alike.

I just purchased the app so I could use the record and play back which does not work! Also the app has to be hard closed from my phone and has no option to exit or close! Also watching a couple of your YouTube videos, you clearly stated the app was $4.99 and I purchased it for $9.99? Lesson learned.

This is a fantastic app! It is absolutely loaded with information on calling & hunting elk. This app really helps users learn to "speak" the elk language. The app does this by explaining the meaning behind the sounds and what each sound is trying to communicate to other elk. Once you understand this, then you know what the elk are saying and what you as the caller should say in response. Not only that, but this app is great for helping you learn how to do the calling with an elk reed. There are excellent videos that talk about tongue placement, pressure, and sounds to make with your own voice while trying to make the elk sounds with the reeds. The app also has LOTS of tactics and tips on hunting elk. It is very informative. Paul Medel is wonderful at educating elk hunters and sharing his knowledge. This app is great for any elk hunter. It is a steal at the price.has

Being a Eastern boy who has limited time and experience out West, it is amazing how relavent the knowledge is to my few encounters. I am headed out again this Fall, and feel so much more confident with the ElkNut app in my toolbox. I hope to join the many success stories that can already be attributed to the effectiveness of this app and to the podcast offered by ElkNut.

The app was great before the update. I'm sure you will have it repaired soon. It was just a bad time for an update during Elk season. Maybe in the future you can do it in January. I have read the other reviews and personally I am not able to download elk sounds. It says there is a connection issue when there is not. Please update when the issue is resolved.

Exceptional content. I had an issue with another app by the same developer and they had the issue resolved very quickly. I would love the developer to make a predator hunting app as well. Id be the first to buy it! So far i own the elk hunting and whitetail deer hunting app and am blown away by the usefulness and quality if these resources. Definitely a must have for any elk hunter

What a fantastic app!! I have listened to the Got Game Tech Podcasts featuring Paul, Ryan, and Tayler. The amount of knowledge that I have learned from these guys on the Podcast has been huge. I am an archery elk hunter and have harvested a few elk, solo hunts that is. Anyways I listened to the Podcasts and had to check out the Elk Nut app. What a great app, easy to navigate. The setup and information is outstanding! This app makes me want elk season to show up that much more! GREAT APP!

I had issues with this app not working on my phone, but with the help with Technical Support we found out that the problem was with my phone being incompatible. When we witched my work phone the app worked perfectly. Very happy. Thanks Tayler.

Must-have app for elk calling. Lots of info on when and why to use particular calls/sequences. The ability to record your calls is another great feature.

Great app so far, but I'm having trouble with the audio that I record. I was trying to record me lip bawl and the recording would not stop recording after I hit stop. When I went back to play it had recorded like 10 minutes of me going back and forth.

Just downloaded it before leaving the 13th of Sept. Now i can't use it because of the update download will not load. I liked what i got to see of it, I only had it two are 3 days before the update. I will update the rating once i can use it. I hope it before my hunt is over.

It's a great easy to use app and the concepts come across clearly and are very helpful going into the elk season with a tried and true plan....

Definatly worth the money! Been calling elk for years, using the same bugle the elk I was calling used. You lose so many elk trying to play that copy cat game. This app allows me to know what the elk are trying to communicate, and respond appropriately.

I really appreciate this app . It's streamlined and super user friendly. I was able to use it on the mountain to decipher some elk calls I was hearing. Paul Medel speaks elk fluently and I really appreciate everything he does to help people learn

Simple... incredible! This app paired with his website and podcasts... anyone can become an experienced elk hunter right off the bat! So much knowledge! Paul and his team are 100% masters of the elk language and teach you how to kill any elk that makes a noise, in depth and with proof it works!!! If you hunt elk, you need this!

I absolutely love this app! It has opened my eyes to the language and behavior of elk in ways that I couldnt fathom. Wish I had this app 10 years ago, it would have saved me from screwing up so many hunts. I would give it 10 stars if I could! Thanks Paul!

excellent reference! especially in the field with being able to download videos. I have know doubt it contributed to my success of arrowing my first elk last year.

hands down the best elk app on the market. paul knows his stuff period!!! put the breeding sequence to work multiple times this past year and ended up with a great bull at 19 yards. I called in multiple bulls throughout the season using his tactics.
