Elsevier eBooks on VitalSource

Good for on the go. Major downside = any tables or figures in textbooks can't be seen because they're so small. App doesn't allow you to zoom in. I think this needs to be fixed especially for medical textbooks like the ones I have where there's many diagrams, pictures, or tables/figures with pertinent information to know and understand. Increasing font size doesn't fix this either.

All my Nursing books in the palm of my hand!!! I can utilize all features the same as my laptop, including notes, highlights and read-aloud. Couldn't ask for a better app!!

My library of books downloaded fine onto my chromebook, app is easy to navigate with cursor or touchscreen, pdfs were fine to open, read, increase size of text. The note taking/highlighting doesnt seem to work offline. But anyways, it lets me read my books offline which is the main concern, and IS definitely worth a download. You can always delete again if it isn't playing nice with your device.

The app crashes every time I want to read on my smart phone. Technically I can only access it on the computer. I bought the ebook so that I can access it anywhere and anytime but I can't even do that. The app needs fixing its been 3 months now.

So if your school has you login to the site Elsevier with a username, then for the app you need to login with the email instead. Also, the password is a different password for (vitalsource books) app. So you need to reset the password inside the app and then remember to use that password for the app (vitalsource books) only. The website uses a separate password. I had this issue and it's very confusing, but I got it working. Hopefully these instructions will help other people with this issue.

this is the most rubbish app as there is no access to videos....the system shows invalid password or email id ...also it doesn't allow you to create account....showing msg like uh oh!etc is doing nothing but just wasting your time.....do not go behind this app and download it... it's just waste of time

This app is a piece of garbage and doesn't let me look at the page of the book that I need to do my homework.

deserves zero stars since it will not let me log in. keeps saying email and password not accepted. don't have to wait around for support. tried using both my username and email. neither works. I am 110% positive my login info is correct since I can log in just fine on my computer using the same login info.

I am surprised by all the negative reviews the app has. I downloaded it and it has worked flawlessly for me from day one. Logged in and it was able to download my nursing book with no issues. So far I have no complaints with the app and am quite pleased with it.

So far it has been exceptional. When needing to quickly reference something while in class it has my notes at the top of my fingers as well as holds your place in the book even after closing without setting up a book mark

I can't sign in. It requests that I use a link to open the app. If I can sign in through the web page, what's the point of the app? It's supposed to be for ease of access on a phone. If a person can't get in, it isn't very accessible or purposeful. 🤷

The worst app ever. All my voucher codes are being told invalid and they don't have any customer service no. for India and their chat support is the worst. They'll ask details everytime in the chat support and when it's time to give solution, they'll disconnect the chat. The worst,most useless app ever. Hard to believe that such a big shot publishing company will have such poor app and customer service.

Very great features, I can highlight important sentences, add notes on the side, has flashcards. I recommend!

App is not accepting redeem voucher code its saying it as invalid ....lyk seriously....then how I can access to videos given in this book ...... rubbish and i m very upset that I wasted my initial time even for writting this negative review but it's my humble request that if app is not working or not updated then remove it form the accessibility so it can't waste tym of following number of people ...

I bet it's a good app. The only thing is that I can't even download the app. I've tried everything, shutdowning down my phone, trying another device. It won't download at all.

I do not know how I did it but I some how logged in and everything went smoothly. It took a few tries but after going in and out of the launch app button on the site I was able to do it.

Wouldn't allow me to login using my login credentials. Keeps wanting me to reset my password, but then won't let me do it via my phone web browser.

I can't redeem my code given in the book I bought. The app is total useless. Don't waste your time and data on it :)

app wont let me sign in. says my account doesnt exist, even though i can go onto my computer or phone to the website and sign in with the exact same email and password.

Says my email and password is incorrect even though it isnt. I can use it through the browser but not the app.

Useless. Said I only had two books in my library, and would not redeem any codes. Uninstalled it almost immediately.

Never had the experience to have the app because I am starting nursing school and was told to download this app however it won't download for me. I've attempted numerous times.

None of my books are uploading in the library... the codes all say invalid. Hopefully I can fix this before school starts...

The new update broke the app for my chromebook .. it keep crashing .. even after uninstalling rebooting and reinstalling.. roll the update back
