Time intensive & expensive! The game can technically be played for free but progress will be painfully slow, you'll be unable to complete timed events and will generally find the game is like going thru life poor. People are literally spending thousands of dollars to get multiple event buildings. This is disappointing consider there are bugs that have never been fixed since I started. I deleted the game. I'm done.

The game started out ok, but then a series of glitches made the game maddening! Lost the ability to purchase anything within the game, wouldn't recognize my credentials! Brought it to the attention of the support team which was an excercise in futility! So, if you want to spend a lot of money go ahead and sign up! Me, I'm deleting both this game and Forge of Empires and moving on and not looking back!

A good game. Inno games continues to strive to perfect the game throughout the chapters, tournaments events and other challenges. You can play for free easily and really do not need to purchase coins or anything unless you want to and especially if you are anxious to move faster. The people that play this game tend to form good connections in the fellowships. You can play this game solo without joining a fellowship, however you will find it harder to obtain rewards and goods.

I love Elvenar, but I hate that two or three times a week I need to Uninstall your app and reinstall it. No other app is so messed up that I have to do that with. I'm not going to go through all that trouble again until the developers fix the app so I no longer have to keep uninstalling it. Reply: I'm not on a computer. I'm on a cell phone. My cache is clear and so is my browser history.

Needs better instructions for playing. The wiki instructions are very basic and seem to be for computer play only. Tells you what you need but fails to be clear on the how's and why's. Pretty confusing. Takes quite a bit of money, if you want gems and if you want to advance at a decent pace compared to having to wait lengthy times for build up of inventory. Working with the fellowship on tournament times is fun. Would be so nice to be able to move buildings around easier like a temporary storage

Nothing particularly brilliant about it but it is a game I can play and relax without going crazy about adverts, blinking shop buttons or action gameplay that makes you dizzy. Its tough to manage the available building space. I think the game could give players a little bit more space to build. What's the point of a building game without space to build?

Love the game. No one raiding you in the middle of night. The battles you fight are by choice, not to keep from losing your hard earned gains. You don't have to grow crops and sell them, or worry about handing out tasks to a bunch of NPC's. Just build, expand, upgrade. You can play and progress without paying, but it's a little slower. Especially with expanding. I am disappointed that you have to use diamonds to purchase some buildings you earn, and you have to buy diamonds. That's why 4 stars.

I played years ago and quit playing because I couldn't Advance because I couldn't get land. Unfortunately nothing has changed. Still have struggling to get land diamonds are hard to get unless you purchase them and I'm not in the means of putting money in into games. Research is ridiculous. Troops are never strong enough to defeat so you have to use all your resources to just settle the dispute. I've already had to skip several requests due to not being able to acquire what needed to finish it

Really enjoying Elvenar and look forward to to building and exploring lots more.. Update - Been playing for over 6 months and really enjoying Elvenar. No pressure to buy things or do much fighting. Superb graphics and no end in sight :)

New to this game but enjoying it so far. Relaxed, with lovely graphics and interesting quests. Manufacturing items take a long time to make and only a small amount, though upgrading buildings improves this. Updated from 3 to 5 stars, really enjoyable once you know what you're doing & joining a good, supportive fellowship enhances the in-game experience through co-operative play. Not pay to play, not battling other fellowships or taking resources but still competitive with leaderboards & rewards

An amazing game with great support and thoughtful developers. They just updated the main fellowship vs. fellowship event making it much more streamlined. The buildings are both varied and detailed. If you enjoy city building games such as Civilization then you have found the mobile game for you. Also one of the few free to play games that you can actually excel at for free without committing entire days to gameplay. Tho there r multiple worlds to build on if you need a fun way to waste more day.

Just started not much to say. I come from forge of empires I must say I like the building level up system. And having the choice of either elf or human doesn't do much except your town looks more elvish or human which I thought was a nice touch. So far I have no complaints. 4/5 nothing is perfect.

Used to love this game but the way to get the most out of it is to have a huge network of neighbors who help each other. This used to be great but lately my neighborhood is filled with an ever increasing number of empty provinces. Last week there were 47, this week 52. That makes for a drastically reduced interactive experience! Tried reaching out through help a few times but each time they said there was nothing they could do. Very frustrating!!!

I really like the game but time needed for production and upgrade is way too long. It take hours and days which is a real turn off. I hope you change this.

A pleasant relaxed city building game with endless beautifully drawn buildings to add and upgrade. You can play for free just fine, or, if you are impatient, spend a little money to speed up your construction and have a bit more space to build in. Definitely a game that deserves to be paid for and the designers know it, because they don't try to shove useless junk for you to buy in your face every 10 seconds. They know you'll decide to pay eventually.

I've played the game for years on my pc. I enjoy the app for playing on the go. The only drawback of the app version is no ability to control the battles. Other than that, the graphic is beautiful and I enjoy the storyline of the different challenges.

Fun game. A bit tedious at the beginning but absolutely love it! The people in game are very helpful. No issues will losing gameplay or crashing so far. Have been playing for a few weeks. Would definitely recommend!

Slow paced but enjoyable game. Choose your own rate or path of progress. Active community and Wiki to help out if you get stuck. Joining a Fellowship (Guild) helps as well, I prefer the laid back style without too many rules and regs. After 4 years of playing there is still enough to do and keep me interested, and the volunteer Support team do a fabulous job :)

HELLO! I can't get into the game to tell them anything! Try even in that little shop you you make things to create those whatever the hell they're called click on the information thing to check it and the one decides it decides I'm having that and I didn't ask for it to make and it won't cancel. Meanwhile in order to send anything to them you have to be able to get INTO the game to do it! At this point I just want to have them remove all my information so I can uninstall it but can't get into it

Great game, but be ready for a long experience with good friends. It's a bit difficult to play without spending$ but it can be done your advancement is slower.if I've learned anything from this game is patients! I've enjoyed Elevnar for well over 2years now. I do recommend to anyone who enjoys these games!

This is a really fun game, however it still needs a lot of work. The resources that you get from some of the buildins are very lacking especially when you have tokens to up the amount you can get from the building but you can't actually use them because you don't have the boost technology for said resources. I went through and read all of the technology you can unlock but there were only 3 and you need a LOT of resources to play this game. I really hope that they fix this huge inconsistency.

So far this had turned out to be and enjoyable town building game. I started this game expecting it to be a cash grab like so many other games on here. Yes they do send you offers to entice you to buy things, but so far I haven't been forced to make a purchase just to progress. You can progress just fine without spending money. I have spent about $5 dollars so far, because I enjoy the game and feel that the developers earned it.

Been playing for 5 years now (off and on) enjoyable game especially if you're part of a good fellowship. Some bits can be time consuming and tedious, but overall it's great. Diamonds are very expensive to purchase but you can win some, just be frugal.

(2 months playing update) My original review still stands I decided to bump it up to five stars because of any mobile game or really game period in recent years this one has held me the longest without getting tired of it. I'm downloading more titles from this developer. This isn't a bad game it's pretty fun. A building simulator kind of like age of empires

Fun game with great graphics and creative storylines. I particularly like that you are not in competition with other players (except, if you wish, for points). You join a fellowship (optional), and there's an excellent balance of individual and fellowship achievement. The only thing I don't like is the frequency of updates — and that you can't continue with the older version. It's a pain when there's limited internet. Update: the program is getting bigger and more clumsy with every update. It is now slow and a real pain to use on my phone. The desktop version is great, but the mobile version keeps hanging.

I like it. It's easy to get hooked on this game, and you can play without paying, although I enjoyed it too much I did spend, first time ever on a mobile game. The progress is natural and the challenges/quests give you short term goals to work towards at all times as well. As for graphics, I'm happy with the quality of the it but tbh I just wish the theme and buildings design were prettier? And brighter! Also provinces become unbalanced way too quick. All are "Very Hard". Still 5/5!

I have been playing the game for about a year now and it is slow going as expected. However, since some of the recent updates a player can no longer complete the reward sets without spending money. This is a recent and very disappointing change to the game play. Previously I was able to qather all of the award buildings so long as I stayed on top of the tournament, now because of time gates I won't be able to complete the set buildings unless I spend even more money. I am very close to quitting
