sometimes works great, sometimes doesn't. i really wish that you could pick which exercises to practice, instead of having to do each of the preset ones in the same order every time. I've also noticed that calibrations which work for me for, say, Lift for example, don't work well at all for Speed and vice-versa. a more tailored and chooseable experience would make a huge difference. thank you anyway, elvie devs, for your work! it's a good thing even with the little issues.
Really good and I would recommend it as a useful tool. It is good to get biofeedback and for motivation. Sometimes it can take a while to get it in the right position and working responsively. The app could use a ' free play' setting outside of the regular workouts. Also there should be a 7 day a week workout goal as doing it daily is ideal. I do it each morning straight after my shower. Understanding the pelvic floor helps, breathe in to help relax. The flower empowered is a great site.
On one hand this is a fantastic app for a fantastic device. Really helps with workouts and lets me do more than I ever could on my own. on the other hand the Elvie device could be improved as it is always slipping. There really needs to be an option to re-try each of their exercises after finishing, as half the time my results are trashed because the device slipped.
Have to admit I'm disappointed with this app and product. It works - i.e. it strengthens your pelvic floor, but given it's meant to be "gamified" it's a shame that once you get to Advanced level there's nothing new. At first I used it every day, but it quickly got boring. The app updates just seem to fiddle with the appearance and fonts - why no new levels? I've had some issues with the product - had to get two replaced, and the third loses power fast. Customer service quick and excellent tho.
Lifesaver after childbirth. Helps to regain some function and control of the destruction zone, also known as pelvis and pelvic floor. Gamification helped me to try harder than I otherwise probably would have. Very friendly design (both hardware and software). Wish every woman could have access to something like this after childbirth. A bit pricey, but worth every cent if one can afford it.
Worth the investment, I know when I'm consistent with it I'm happy to do skipping and my core feels more stable when I work out. Downside would be I only feel comfortable using it laying down and unsure if I'm doing movement correctly at times due to device deciding to slide out.
Great tool. Took a few weeks and multiple sessions for me to figure it out. I've been using it for about 6 weeks now and notice a difference. Elvie has really helped me with postpartum bladder incontience. would recommend. Yes, I could have done kegels on my own, but the app/device has made it easy and more accessible.
Wish it had more focus on relaxing as this is where so many woman have issues. I also don't find it to discern between bearing down and pelvic floor lift which are two very different movements and could have people training the wrong thing. I also wish it had settings for keeping averages based on position as standing numbers aren't the same as laying down.
This trainer is a waste of money, and they allow no returns when the trainer doesn't work. It frequently disconnects. The app only allows you to review if you respond yes to their query on whether the app is helping you reach your goal. If you respond no, you are not directed to Play to review their app. You must sign in from Google Play. Pretty one sided.
Upgraded from an S10 to and S21 and elvie will not connect to my new phone in the app. Also won't connect to my partners S21 plus but will still connect to my old S10. I assume the app needs updated to support newer phone models. Customer care were useless and their troubleshooting was no different than what the app had already asked me to do without success. Really disappointed as this was an expensive purchase that is now basically useless
Absolutely brilliant. Would definitely recommend. After pregnancy I had incontinence issues and was doing exercises myself but there was no big improvement. I decided to buy the Elvie trainer and the difference is huge. My pelvic floor is in great shape and I used it all the way through my second pregnancy and havnt had any incontinence issues this time. Regardless of babies and pregnancies I'll be using this always.
1) bad, constant, disconnections when in use 2) some goals have a try-again option (lift, strength). Need that for pulse too. 3) the combination above make it practically useless! 4) Can't quit the app, or a practice routine. If i kill it - it becomes useless until reboot. 5) Notification from other app (e.g. a group whatsapp chat) cause the trsining routine to rewind back to 0, becoming an endless loop of lift.
Amazing. I was scared because of some of the reviews but elvie is, as usual, amazing. Definitely have work to do but the app was perfect and the trainer is so so neat and easy to use. Very high tech super glad i gave in and bought it. Very happy with it and cant wait to see changes
I rate this machine highly because it has been the only thing to help strengthen my pelvis floor after a neurological incident. I tried machines that send electric shocks and squeezing app's but nothing else worked so effectively. The customer service was superb and warranty held after 2 years.
I've set notifications for a specific time, but the app doesn't notify me at the time I've set. So i have notifications going off at random times including very late and very early morning.
Great. My pelvic floor is noticeably stronger. And the exercises are fun. Sometimes the connection with the device can play up, but all in all an excellent app and pelvic floor trainer. Thanks Elvie!
This has changed my life , I used it 7 days a week for a month now using it 5 days a week and there is a noticeable difference in my pelvic floor. All of the exercises are brilliant and the app is so easy to use. I would and do recommend Elvie 100%.
It's a great tool, it's helped me greatly. I can already see a difference but I wish it wouldn't disconnect so easily during my exercises.
I actually really enjoy using Elvie when I take the time. It's not fun most days, like any work out. But it helps with the symptoms of my adenomyosis. I find I have the most success with the device if I use it in bed, propped up on a big chair pillow that's tipped backward. Then I don't have to hold it with my dirty cell phone fingers.
I'm not impressed and a bit sad about the wasted money. It doesn't inform about how to improve if you're doing it worse one time than another, although it's not so easy to feel how you're doing it wrong and if it's at all helpful for the progress. It doesn't show progress over time, only for that one session. How do I know it's useful at all? I use my abdomen and had to go look up how to do it properly, it doesn't say how to do it properly it just says what not to do. Confused now!
App wouldn't let me use Hotmail email to set up account. Failed every time I tried. Worked fine for Gmail with all same information m App will not pick up the elvie. However if I go via Bluetooth my phone recognises it is there but the app won't.
this app has helped me strengthen my pelvic floor. better than kegels as you get feedback and can see your progress. Customer support is great too. They maybe a little slow responding but solve your issues.
Amazing tool to help me have a strong pelvic floor. I just use a liner now instead of a big pad. Goal is no liner. Keep training!
Post-birth it's hard to get motivated to exercise, but I noticed a big improvement in my overall ability to exercise when I use the Elvie regularly. It has helped me reduce lower back pain in pregnancy as well as post-birth. The app is very simple. There isn't much variety to it once you get to advanced. But it's effective.
