Elvie Pump

As much as I love the pump itself, I have to say the app is just terrible. Loses connection 3-4 times every session. Sometimes the time just gets stuck after a few seconds but I'm still able to use controls. And then my last few pump sessions, after "finish session" it doesn't take me to the screen where I can edit the volume of milk nor does the pump session show up at all. Thankfully I use another baby app where I can record pump time and volume.

Though I love the product, there's a lot that needs to be fixed with the app. My pump records will have random dates (like 1977 today?) and even though it will list all my sessions from today (Sunday), it will still list them all under a heading that is a day behind (Saturday). It doesn't accurately estimate my milk so I have to manually adjust it every time, and sometimes it will shut off as "full" even though there's only 2-3 oz in the cup. My pumps randomly disconnect, too.

They now have it where it doesn't always register your session after it ends and you have to turn the pump on and off again twice and hope that it finds the last session. My favorite and the newest glitch is that the app is now deleting the ozs pumped that you saved in the last session. The updates have been one horrible failure/glitch after another. I wish they would just stop messing with it at this point. Still happening hasn't been fixed and keeps not being able to connect to the pump now.

The pumps constantly disconnect or have problems connecting at all. I've had to force stop the app, restart bluetooth, and even restart my phone. The dates are all wrong, sometimes by 10 years! Finishing sessions it sometimes adds extra ounces, like an extra 7oz on one side! When it works, I like the time display so I know how long I put pumped and roughly how full the bottle is. Other than that, this app is extremely glitching.

The app is annoying. Sometimes both pumps connect, Sometimes one won't connect. Sometimes it measures accurately, Sometimes it doesn't. Honestly it's very inconsistent and not intuitive to use or try to trouble shoot. All trouble shooting basically says is make sure you have the most up to date firmware... which I do.... so what are next steps? It's honestly more stressful for a new mom then it needs to be.

It is completely inaccurate with how many oz are pumped. It has the incorrect date for all the pump records. There are no settings for the app you can adjust. You can only set the pump settings. It is very limited. It tells you it has been disconnected when you turn it off and you have to clear that all the time. Terrible and would not recommend. Also one of my pumps doesn't work most of the time.

This app needs a lot of work. First, no dark theme. This makes night sessions bright and jarring. Second, Bluetooth issues where you either can restart the phone or force close the app and restart Bluetooth. Third, the statistic info is very unhelpful compared to what it could be with all that data. Forth, no option to override the shut off option. Only 3.5 oz and it keeps shutting off.

After paying nearly £500 for 2 pumps you would have thought the app would be so much better. -After pumping for a min the time freezes and you have to open and close the app until the message comes up saying connection was lost, then you are able to reconnect. -Sometimes you finish your session and it doesn't save it, and there is no way to manually input a session. -The app will randomly add random session far into the future, usually saying I had pumped over 1 liter of milk. Very disappointed

For how expensive this pump is you would think it would work better and have an app that is actually functional. I'm not impressed. The controls on the app continuously freeze and don't log correctly. The pump itself is so hard to get in the right position I end up spending twice as long as I would on my spectra just to get set up. Wouldn't recommend.

I LOVE the pumps but the app leaves a lot to be desired. I wish I could enter sessions manually as sometimes I turn the pumps off and go back to the app and the session can no longer be inputted. It also saves sessions on wrong dates that can never be refound. Overall the app could be massively improved but the pump themselves are great.

Overall the app is good concept, but tye connection keeps dropping even though i am holding my phone right next to the pump. As noted by other been reading volumes incorrectly. As of late there are 2 new issues. 1)The dates are completely messed up. I had to edit dates for past 4 days even though it was fine yesterday night afyre my last pumping session. 2) once i manually enter volume and save my session the app displays a completely different volume. ( usually adds well over another 100 ml )

This app is incredibly frustrating. Sometimes it doesn't connect one pump and sometimes it doesn't connect at all. The pump log is completely inaccurate and even after I try to manually fix the amount of ounces, it'll reprogram days later with inaccurate volumes again! At the very least it shouldn't update old pumps that I manually fix. I'm going to stop using it to log my pumps and use a different app.

I love the idea of this app however it needs a huge update. Since day one the date had been wrong. Randomly it will show that I've pumped a crazy amount for a date that hadn't even happened. Then it doesn't retrieve my pump session unless I unconnect and reconnect a few times. After I manually put in the quantity of oz it will change by itself. And about 60% of the time I cant get both pumps to connect at the same time. Update please!

Great pumps, horrible app. - Frequently won't connect to the pump(s) and loses connection constantly - Dates are incorrect - Does not sync one or both pumps after finishing session about 80% of the time. I have to turn the pump off and on until it syncs. There is no manual sync button. Edit: And now the pump records all my sessions 3 days in the future. This is an absolutely ridiculous problem for an over $500 device.

The idea is great. When it works, great. But it has all kinds of glitches, including pumping session records it says are from 2032 and 1953.... and just frequent failure to connect, stay connected, and record accurately.

The pump itself is nice however the app has some major issues. Date and time has been incorrect since I've been using it, the pump never stays connected to the app I constantly have to restart my phone while pumping to get it to connect. The time is always incorrect, this is my biggest issue the app will be open and it will have my pumping time at 17minutes, then I open the notification from my control center and it takes me to the app where the timer then says 14minutes.

It's showing the wrong date on the app. Everything is a day behind. Sessions from today are shown as sessions from yesterday. It shows today's sessions under "Monday" (not "Today" or "Tuesday"). I've tried redownloading the app, I don't know what else to do to fix this.

I always have to reconnect my pumps, which i managed. The volumes in the pump rarely match up. The time is off but i dont k ow how to fix it. Plus random sessions in the future....like 2026 show up with insane volumes i didnt do. Now one pump doesnt connect at all. I haven't had time to call customer service so ill update later.

It's useful but needs improvement. The recorded sessions feature does not work properly. I have pumping sessions recorded from 2033 in the future that lasted days in the app. Also, it would be useful if the timer, once it's up, stopped the pump directly (or at least be able to set it up that way per preference). Also the actual quantity reported of the milk pumped is very inaccurate. A plus I would say is, even if you connect it late, it still gives you the timing since you started which is good

This app barely works. I have the stride and it has a major delay in showing previous pump sessions unless I close the app and reopen it. It's also terrible as a pumping log. You can only see how much milk you pumped per day, not any larger amount of time. You have to scroll back months to check output changes by DAY. It's a terrible app.

I like the elvie pump but the app can use some improvements. The pump does not connect with the app all the time, or gets disconnected during the session

It would make more sense to take the cursor out and let us input values in. It's annoying to have to move up 5mls at a time. And once you get to 140 you can't see the numbers anymore. What is the point of the cursor really. Please take it out.
