Elyments – Social Media Simplified

It's really nice instant messaging app which is truly Indian application. We can chat, send documents and all another tools to make sharing and conversation easy. But the way the application started, as a complete social media app, it would have reduced our dependence on Facebook. But don't know why those features were turned off! It is requested to install it as an alternative to Facebook, which is required. Just as the alternative of Twitter has now become KOO.

Can delete only 5 msgs at a time. Some groups post 10-15 msgs, pictures and videos in a day. It's tedious to select ONE MSG at a time instead of CLEARING all msgs in the group en mass. Not user friendly option.

If you really need people to be interested in creating contents in this app, you need to create post-specific permanent links and allow sharing through other apps (not just link to install app, that's frustrating). App will automatically be pulled over by people's liking to to contents and you need to enable creators to highlight their contents to their contacts.

Indian based app and data stored in India. Not possible to take our mobile number one of best features. Audio clip is very special feature n video call is ultimate must check once.

Mar 7 - Major bug that I have been noticing since last 2 updates. When we click on a new message notification from android notification bar, it takes 40 secs for the app to load that conversation. Have to force close the app and reopen but by then the unread badge would be gone (last one is expected). I even uninstalled the app and then downloaded the latest update but still the same issue. Realme 3 Pro, Android 11

👍 👌 good app, But need separate group option.. And call don't go if app is not open...even net is on... No crop option... Need more mb to send file 😫 Rest the best... I like most it's audio clip.👍🇳🇪 Right now only this app in India to made for Indian ,by indian.....several are come & gone.... But it's stand boldly due regural update....keep updated. Jai hind.

A very innovative, and forward thinking app from a great team of people. Looking forward to see where this app goes.

Excellent indian substitute to whats app, requires more publicity, just one bug after the last update while sending videos if it is a big video like 6-7mb or more then video sending fails and it require multple attempts to send one such video also the picture quality is reduced too much when received at other end

This is indigenous &a phenomenal app with best of messenger and Social media applications. Loved the newly launched clips feature in this app. It is getting better by each day.. Kudos to the team of creators !

Not improved from lots of update. It so many bugs. So slow. User interface not interestings. No group video and audio calling. No status fitures, no background wallpaper. No stickers. No ant types of sound ☑️☑️with incoming and outgoing messages.No photo scrolling, many things is not in Elyments. Cliq is not needed. Work on chat area.

It is very safe I feel safe to share my pictures clips. Also it's so much easy to access and connect with people in safer way. Looking forward for more and more features like online payment so we entirely get free from all other apps which uses our personal information

A wonderful app! The interface is pretty slick, neat and uncluttered. It's a combination of Facebook and WhatsApp, which makes it very appealing. The audio calls are great and the video calls are simply amazing (great clarity and detail). However the loading is bit slow sometimes and it crashed a couple of times while playing video, and somehow I could not set the chat background. But since it's new this is the expected behaviour. Also there doesn't seem to be an option for group video calls.

My experience with elyments is neither good nor bad. I gave it 3 stars beacause of some issues:- 1- There are the times whether we are unable to make a post or upload photos in 'social' option of this app. 2- We are not able to comment on someone's status. Also, it always says 'trying to reconnect, refresh it' which is really frustrating. 3- UI should be improved and make it more user friendly However, i just want to say that everything has pros and cons. I appreciate the work by Indian group.

It's got a lot of potential but it's the development phase. There are lot of bugs which need to be sorted out. The most prevalent one that I have encountered is "Trying to Reconnect", I have encountered this message most of the time. And I have to tap the back button many times to exist the app. It's needs a lot of updating. Looking forward to the app. #VocalForLocal.

I find a lot of features missing compared to the competition. In the chat, I can't find location sharing option. When uploading image and video, it should allow to crop or edit it. There is no dark mode (which is understandable) but I hope it comes soon. Contact sharing is not there. Hope to see them soon. One thing I like the most about it is I can use chatting and social media side by side. Huge applause for that. One extra star for made in India ;)

The problems with regards to registration have been solved. All it needs is a dark mode. Also when we send a friend request to someone, after tapping that button it is not changing to something like "friend request sent". A small detail hope they notice. Another thing is that there is no option to turn off "last seen" in chat. Please include that as well. The interface is good.

Edit: Would be great to have a dark version of the app. Too white now! As mentioned by many it has got the basics of social app. At the same time has missed some of the basic elements like ordering of the options at the bottom, showing top comments for any post etc. I liked the video calling functionality, the video was crystal clear. I'm sure it would get to group video calling too, can't wait for it. Will try and keep updating the feedback when I see and feel the changes being made.

The concept of this app is really good and can go a long way ahead. Currently the problem of this app is the back button function as it annoyingly takes us to all the pages that i have used in the session. Instead it should just close the app. So it makes it a long journey. Also the app loses its connectivity despite strong internet connection which should be improved. But although its a good app and a good idea. All the best.

PROS: 1. First of its kind application made in India. 2. Has features of both FB and WA. 3. Sleek and modern user interface. 4. Has all the basic things right. 5. Has contents like news, sports, bollywood etc. too. CONS: 1. One cannot search for celebrities to subscribe. (I couldn't find any!) 2. Where is the option to add stories? 3. Sometimes it takes a lot of time to load and then it says, "Trying to reconnect, please refresh". (This sucks!) I hope these things will be fixed/added soon!

I am happy to hear this. But, in this app too many bugs. Bugs are mention below: 1. when I refresh any page, it takes too much time and after that it shows an error message 'Trying to reconnect. Please refresh.' 2. In settings, privacy page doesn't open and redirect to newsfeed. 3. Information are not stored in one time. I have to fill columns many times. 4. Even 'Send Feedback' option also doesn't work. I can't send you feedback. It shows HTML code when I send you feedback.

This app has pretty good features but you will have to look into UI again. It is not that attractive. After opening a story from storypick, if I click back once, it is completely coming out of story section. Instead it should come out of that particular story and show us some related/other stories. The loading time is high, which you have to reduce using edge computing techniques.Finally, Do ask some celebrities to promote your app. It helps a lot. Because there are hardly any people to follow.

Cool... Was a bit disappointed initially due to the OTP issue. Now this is fixed. Interface looks cool and easy to work. Group call facility will enhance the features further. Can you look at it? Thank you. There will always be a few teething problem. Being an Indian App, we are committed to support it. Please keep doing the great job. Good stuff!!!

When I first installed the app, everything was wrong. Entering the OTP gave error, updating profile picture didn't support, provided personal info didn't get save. After a couple of hours, I tried again. This time it works smooth. I think most people won't try again. So please fix the bugs. But this app is the future if India. Great job everyone

I really appreciate this initiative. There are some things that shoud be fixed. 1. The app server needs improvement as is starts reconnecting after some time of loading. 2. I was unable to start conversation after clicking the (+) icon showed on screen. 3. Profile picture and other information takes much time to save although I have a good internet speed. So these small problems should be fixed. The app interface is very good and I m damn sure it will compete other social media applications.👍

The app is an awesome work of dedication. However, some flaws which I noticed — 1. The UI and UX for the Hub section is very unappealing. The fonts are totally different from the rest of the app which makes it look like a forced and rushed addition. 2. Also, the point of the Hub section is too vague to compel any user to actually use this section. You should replace this with something more compelling. I'll add more points in a different post.

I've been facing many problems in Elyments as most of the time it shows trying to reconnect refresh, there is problem in search as well. You cannot add multiple photos in a single post simultaneously, you have to add them one by one. Moreover, sometimes it will not post even when you post. In video calling also sometimes one person will not see your face and the connection over the call is bit shaggy. When you use mobile camera to send other recipient to send a pic by clicking it won't be sent.

For the past 30 minutes receive an error: " trying to reconnect". Error 2: user invalid. The same for my family as well. ---------------------------------------------------------------- Edited review: Not experiencing this issue anymore. Some features are lacking like sending pdf or a simple photo takes lot of time to sent, a person cannot delete or forward multiple photos or messages. If this could fix then the app usage become will become much easy and decent. About privacy I am very satisfied with it,it's great. I hope this bugs would fix as early as possible because it is going to be very heavy usage of this particular app. Thanx to the government of India.

I really like the interface of this app. It looks very simple & minimalistic. But I found some bugs while I using this app. Its like nothing is open in a single click, I have to try again & again then it works. It always says "Trying to reconnect. Please refresh." Its very annoying. So please fix this bug as soon as possible.
