Email App for Gmail & Exchange

I want to like this but the email formatting makes it so difficult to use. It is formatted like a printed document with huge whitespace around the message and the text so small it is barely legible. Zooming in seems hit and miss. It looks like it tries to zoom but gives up. If it would have just displayed the text normally using the entire screen width available with a sensible sized font, I would have given it 5 stars.

Great app all around, except just one (but significant!) thing: Virtually every email I open, I have to zoom in to actually be able to read! The app is just terrible at sizing the email to fit the screen, in my experience. A line of text is at least twice as long as it should be before it auto-wraps, and for ad emails, with lots of pictures and centered text, the content is about 1/3 of the width of the screen, with nearly equally-sized white space on either side. It doesn't make any sense.

The app is great! So many great features for email, but I'm giving it 3 stars because the search function is not efficient at all and when returning to an already saved draft, there is always an error in sending the email where you basically need to copy paste your email into a newly composed one to send properly. PLEASE FIX!!!!!!!!

This is an incredible app, just like the browser extension is incredible. It's really useful and feature rich and I recommend checking it out. My favourite and most-used feature is send later. I use it to delay professional/official emails that I write in the middle of the night - they'll send at 7 AM instead of 3 or whatever - so I can maintain the illusion that I function on a normal schedule 🙃

The 'Send Later' feature isn't useful because there is no Outbox in the app that allows you to view/edit your email if you want. It is IMPOSSIBLE to get rid of any email drafts. You can select multiple email drafts or one at a time to delete and the box will appear empty until you go to another folder and then go back to the Drafts folder. This needs work, but the Outbox thing shouldn't be an issue fo'real. With the Send Later feature, that should've been an available email box from jump!

Found this using the browser extension and was happy to see that there is also a phone app for boomerang. I was trying to find something that let me send emails in the future for co-parenting. Like if there is an appointment or event. I can send out an initial email, then set one in advance to send a week before as a reminder. That way I won't have to worry about forgetting. It's been very helpful.

Having trouble with it on my Galaxy S8. Aspect ratio off. Display jumps around with touch/swipe. Not going to continue to use it until improved. Would love something like an extension for the Gmail app instead. Unsure if that is possible with mobile apps, but a girl can wish.

App has been much better now. Butl I still required some features for making it a recommendable email app: 1. Shortcut for emptying the folders of "Trash" and "Spam". 2. Options (like "delete" and "replying") coming for a single mail in the Notifications panel, should be enabled for multiple mails also. 3. Specifically searched mails shouldn't show up after deleting them. 4. Searched mails should have their respective folder destination's index/mark.

I don't usually go out of my way to review, but someone wrote an incredibly dumb 1 star review and I feel it's my duty to offset that. This app is great and helps stay organized. I work with many people in different timezones, and I'd have to be awake 24/7 to email at proper times. Now I can bulk address all my emails in one sitting and focus my brain on the next task without worry. As a bonus, it can also remind me a few days later if they haven't replied. Maybe they should stop being disorganized and use Boomerang too!

Boomerang is awesome! it is one of the best and easiest email apps i have used for sending emails at a specific time. It's "Send Later" functionality is free to use in their mobile app, whilst the desktop gmail boomerang limits you to 10 "Send Later" emails per month.

Its OK on Android but there hasn't been any sort of significant update for years (even though it's been promised for years). To see what a beautiful, well designed Boomerang app can look like, take a look at their Apple apps. They seem to have abandoned Android even though Boomerang is best with Gmail. The company itself has started to charge for elements that used to be free, too (hence the reviews expecting a feature that it no longer has). No hate for that. Ya gotta pay your people.

I mainly use Boomerang to scheudle emails to send at appropriate times and it does that very well! The UI is clean and pleasant, especially with the dark theme. Great app and very easy to set up and use!

loved this app in my older phone but when I moved to my new Pixel3a running Andriod 10, I can't add my email accounts back to it. Every time I try to enter my Google Account, it pops up with the other accounts on the phone, but doesn't display the keyboard. So I have no way to change the information. Clearly something changed between Android 8 and Android 10.

The information about the first opening of sent email gets updated after nearly 15 minutes. and the mail "opened count" and the" link click count" are mostly inaccurate. These bugs should be fixed. Still a very good free app.

Excelent productivity tool. I use it a lot to send emails later, at a convenient time for tbe recepient. I also set up reminders in order to do the follow up of the issues. So i can not make excuses in case i skip a task.

good just for that one feature of sending an email latter. its missing a lot of important email features such as filtering by read/unread status,and customizable notifications. you either receive notifications for all emails or none

Great app, great service. I only wish one could format emails somewhat (being able to add italics to a signature, for instance). All in all though, it's quite wonderful and tremendously useful.

Super easy to use. Setup was good, always sends an email when you ask it to if the settings are correct. Does what it says! 10/10 would schedule emails again.

BOOM I'M SO GLAD YOU'RE BACK WITH THE NEW STUFF! All of them you mention in you're description. However, here is one exhilarated! YOU CAN OPEN LINKS IN CROME. Recently Outlook started their nonsense of opening links inside outlook. Now Gmail started doing the same thing and there is no way to disable it! Now go and put that in your description as well 😁

No recurring email feature. Downloaded the app to try because it was the first thing to pop up in Google when searching for apps with recurring email feature, unfortunately looks like it isn't actually available in the app, so uninstalled

doesnt work. clicked to try the 'readability' feature advertised but have no idea how to access this feature.. instead its just installed a new email client on my phone.. so it can sod off thanks also, blocking you and reporting your contact to me as spam as youre pretending your an official google thing, which i no longer think you are.

very nice app, love the scheduling option. I'd like it to be able to keep the emails organized in the same way this is done on Google. maybe import folders from Google and sort emails in the same smart way

The interface is very presentable and I use this app when I need to e-mail someone at a time that's not appropriate, but I don't want to disturb their sleeping/working hours. Overall, LOVE THE APP!

Using it for a month now on high volume, both personal and work email, and so far very impressed. Scheduled e-mails a big advantage, also both accounts I have logged on this app are syncing perfectly.

Have been looking for a replacement of inbox and this is much better in Ux, feature rich in a beautiful layout. Just that one feature of boomerang and send later is worth using this app.

I gave it a try during 2 days. I don't receive notifications of new emails although it is set properly. I will uninstall it now. It's nice to make a fancy app but we should not have issues with basic functions

I am a night owl as well, and when I need to send an email that's Important, but Not needed to be sent and answered past 9p, I use this app to make sure that My recipient gets my message first thing in the A.M., this app allows me to be courteous, but delivers it at the time that I know my recipient will check their email first thing in the morning. I haven't had any complaints with its use.

It looks great and rhe scheduling and boomeranging functions are invaluable and I use them every day. The Gmail app is still a bit easier to browse in, but I always use Boomerang app to send mail.
