Email smart extension
With this app, you can view email notifications and content in your SmartWatch or smart audio accessory. Email smart extension will only interact with the default email application in Xperia™ smartphones from Sony.
To use this app extension, you must have Smart Connect and the dedicated Sony app for your smart accessory installed on your Xperia™ smartphone or tablet.
Note: When you have installed this app, it will be activated automatically in your smart accessory. It will not appear in your application screen or home screen. Open the application settings via Smart Connect or via the phone or tablet status bar.
Works with: SmartWatch MN2, SmartWatch 2 SW2, Smart Wireless Headset pro MW1, Stereo Bluetooth® Headset SBH50, Smart Bluetooth® Handset SBH52.

Finally got this to work, would show on my watch but say only compatible with Xperia phones when my phone is a Z3 lol, so went into phone settings / apps / email extention then cleared the cache for storage, did the same thing in settings / apps / SmartWatch 2 and the app starting working properly works very well now, clearing memory cache seems to resolve a lot of sm2 app errors and a fix for none showing apps.
This app does not work on my SW2 with Xperia Xz premium ! No updates seems correcting it.
Looked like SW2 had gone EOL when the phone was no longer seen as an xperia device... But the app updated in October and emails are working again. Excellent

This only supports Xperia phones. Limiting both sides of the technology seems pretty stupid. I have a Sony SBH50, but because I don't own a Sony phone as well, I'm not good enough for the technology? This app was suggested by the smart connect software on my phone. Would have saved me the trouble, and you the review, if it would be restricted to install on Xperia phones only..
Yep. All of those other reviews are telling the truth. Even though this is one of the things you most likely bought your smartwatch for AND it is included on your watch's list of recommended apps, you have to have a sony xperia phone to take advantage of it. Why cripple your customers by trying to force us into buying more of your products. No point having this on my s5. so it's getting 1 star for suggesting I download an unsupported product and then making me clean up the mess after it pooped the bed.
Since the update my email is faulty and nowhere to report this. No email since then and can't uninstall to reinstall.... Very annoying. I agree with one of the users Sony phones are crap.... My sound is appalling, no one can hear me because of continuous crackling sound.... Now this.. No email
My watch shows the email notification after I have read it on my phone. Can you get it fixed please. And emails open very slow. Frustrating
Additionally, in lollipop, exchange is merged with gmail. But dont think the gmail smartwatch app is going to help.
Keeps saying it only works on an Xperia device and it says that on my Xperica C1505....

Not even supported on Xperia devices with a recent firmware. Looks like the developers have abandonned this app.
It says that works on Xperia only and stop even I am using Z5. Please fix it.
Was working fine until this week, then after update no longer works. States "only compatible with Xperia devices". Needs fixing asap as use this for work purposes.
I have a Sony Z3 experia and Sony SmartWatch 2 it doesn't work as it's only compatible for experia devices. Not sure what that means.

Since last update it has problem. When I check my email it says "EXCHANGE SERVICE HAS STOPED" how I can solve this problem?
Just got my brand new xperis Z2 with smartwatch on ver 1.0.B.4.154 No e-mail notifications. it sends some e-mails through then stops, no more e-mails and no alerts. All other things like facebook, calls ect notifications work. Updated the firware to ...1.B.1.3 and ... still not working!? Complete waste, get this fixed ASAP!
This only works with the stock email Application. Someone made an app that will show you notifications from every app so you might want to find that, it's cheap too.
It's pretty ok and easy to use, but some very annoying bugs. It picks up email addresses from God knows where, which are the suggested. Opening links closes the previously opened links. Please fix these. I reported them via the helpdesk ages ago... And now the trashbin has a stuck counter and reports every time it has more than 100 items in it, while empty... This is a basic app. It's good for many reasons but it should be better.
