Empire: Age of Knights

Ive been playing for awhile now, just hoping they would fix game breaking issues like the massive problem with freezing. It almost never fails, and it's usually just an inconvienece. Re start the game and keep going..... usually. But if you are in the middle of a KW battle with another player, timing can be everything, and when the game freezes you can lose everything. It is a known issue, but being ignored by the devs, so they can spend time catering to the p2w crowd.

It's pay to win. Combat mechanics are terrible. Building an army is pointless since players who paid for a special hero can beat any defense. Although you can join an alliance, there's not much that can be done easily as a team...a section of the game that's supposed to be a team activity has been "coming soon" since the game launched but hasn't arrived. Lots and lots of clock-watching waiting for tiny timers to count down. New updates don't fix what's wrong and break things that were fine.

I have played the game for months now, while I do enjoy the actual game play, the issues make me rage though, constantly freezes on loading pages, everytime I open the game I have to wait 21 seconds for reconnection, its super frustrating, attacking is super buggy, I could write an hour long essay with the bugs, really ruins the experience of playing the game, I hope the devs actually put some more time into fixing it to make it a decent game.

Kind of boring. Should be more like empire four kingdoms. Automatic resource production and collection every 10 minutes would have been a better choice. All you do is endlessly tell your buildings to make wood and stone then you collect from them every minute. Its to repetitive. Energy for heros is a let down. No collect all resources button for the world map...i got 3 outposts and havent been able to collect from world map once. To many adds and promos block the screen up.

Has potential but theres bugs that need to be fixed. One of is no matter how many times you use the tutorial to complete quests the goal doesnt register as complete so you cant get the rewards from the quests. Still needs alot of work done to the game. Although yes free to play they have alot of advertisement for sales especially gems which you need alot of to upgrade and advance at a better pace than sitting idle and leveling for weeks on end.

Graphic's cool. But: Unlocking T2 units take ages. Resources are not easy to understand AND to gain. + to get the most of the game you NEED to watch constantly ADS, or buy packages. Oh, and the whole healing system is weird and not user friendly. I'm sorry but I can't recommend it.

Potential for good game, but a better tutorial would solve some issues I had. Now that I figured out some of the game... and I'm on a amazing Alliance, must say the game is becoming one of my favorite games. Still the cost of upgrading some things early on is WAY too expensive... but I dont pay to play any game. Some of you might not mind, but I find their packages they are selling are no way good enough. So yes, has potential.

Pretty good game but has many bugs that need worked out. Missions and resource making has undesirable features such as changing settings in one building changing all others of same type to same setting. Missions appear to do the same and do not default back to lowest setting when completed causing some uh-ohs here and there. You cannot obtain most powerful hero without cash and some vital resources are difficult to obtain in sufficient quantities without paying for them. Not bugs.

Its a really good game, graphics are great gameplay if fantastic, the paying feature are all relevently small amount 4.99 not 100+ gems are easy to come by but the only issue is alliances. When your in an alliance unlike other game you cannot teleport into a territory I've been attacked numerous times by my alliance members are 30+ minutes away and can't do anything. This is the main feature that needs to be added right now.

When I first downloaded the app it would tell me every once in a while that I had bad internet connection (even tho this is the only app that had an issue with my connection speed but since update it won't load up at all cuz my internet is to slow. And again, this is the only app that has issues with internet connection. Other than that the game is basically the same as every other kingdom building game.

So far fun little game. Very generous with in game currency. Could be improved with a player manual or more in depth explanation of the various controls during the tutorial. Other than that and occasionally losing internet even though I'm on wifi, the game is good.

Another one of GoodGame studios apps that if you end up getting a new phone and have spent a ton of time and money on ,it's just coincidence that when you connect to Facebook or Google play your leveled account mysteriously disappeared. I'm done with this developer. Such a rip off.

Very good. Some interface issues with placement and the tutorial keeps things shaded too long so you cannot see what your being tutored on. But this is a first 2 minutes problem. Good humor with feisty Lady, pompous Mage, and others. Orc spies around the wallsxare fun to deal with. Recommended!

It's a fun simple game. Lack off ads is nice and I appreciate that. The art style is wonderful but the sound design feels like an early 2000s PC game. It doesn't feel epic enough. The music needs improving and the sounds are cheesy.

I like it. I just have 2 problems. I can't fight anymore orc camps, I'm literally stuck with lvl 8 camps I can't fight or progress.. My hero doesn't have enough energy and never does. Plus, I'm getting everything BUT hammers in contracts so I can't upgrade anything either. I have to uninstall and I started an alliance, so the people in it won't be too happy with the news (all new players too)

The concept is nothing new and if anything it's quite boring. Can you believe that some of the main quests require you to spend real money in order to complete them? F2p my left cheek. I can see this being a better game if progress wasn't as slow for f2p players but this game is constantly flashing money content in your face. Imma pass.

After the latest update, it's good and bad. gameplay changed...haven't been attacked once. But attacked a few to trial it. but not the same player. Was given 6 free shields. All trained troops goes directly to defend in world map. Attacking someone takes time. Attacking low level player is useless as they give poor resources and waste of time and hero stamina. We get 3 hours shield but not teleported. Need shield, teleport, defense boost, expedition, donate RSS to members, dragon may be 😀

Only thing I'd say so far is you ask for things to be built for quests and to expand, but require me to level up twice before hand. And then you dont give enough space to build those buildings when asked to. I get that it just means that you have to wait but I feel like the quest shouldn't be there if you cant even build or expand to do so at the time. 😎

Low stars because it doesn't let me mute the ads while they play and continue listening to the YouTube videos I'm watching. Sure, you can mute the ad; but, no matter what my YouTube videos pause every time an ad runs. Also highly deceptive advertising about the gameplay in the ad that brought me to the game.

I really was looking forward to playing this game and was super disapointed when it kept crashing. Everytime I try to load the game, it crashes at 67%, 'running from dragons'. Please fix this issue GoodGame! I'd change my review if I could atleast try it ):

Graphics are alright, gameplay is alright...but the game seems like a cash grab from the start. One of the quests is to buy rubies! And the cheapest pack was for 5€! I was looking forward to this game but it's just a disappointment after all.

This was an enjoyable game where players could work cooperatively. Over the last 3 months, the developers of the game have upgraded it into a waste of time, money and electrons. It is all about killing your fellow players. I would NOT recommend this game to a friend, an acquaintance, or even an enemy.

Going to give this a temporary 1 star because the ads for this game and even the images supposed to be showing the game include no gameplay, no interesting unique qualities nothing. It looks like a money grabber right off the bat! And the ad for it didnt even show a name or any of the games feautures... You should fire your marketing team because anyone could have done a better job for cheaper.
