The latest version of the app has introduced quite a few bugs. Bluetooth audio during telephone calls is now completely unusable as it deteriorates after a minute. Since uninstalling the app it has rectified the issue. I've notice the way the watch connect a via Bluetooth has changed, as it shows up as a connected device now in the Android settings where it never used to. Not sure if this is one of the reasons for the issue. The user interface is also worse than the previous version.
The app will not sync with the watch automatically. It will only record the step count when you manually sync it. I wear the watch every day, but I have no data for the days I didn't go in to the app and manually sync it. Very annoying, especially if you want to use the watch to record weekly, monthly goals.
I have the Emporio Armani connected smart watch. The hour hand is never correct no matter how many times I calibrate the watch!! This is a very nice watch, but to be experiencing these failures and issues is unacceptable!! Not sure if this is an app problem, or a product problem, but something needs to be done to address it! Especially considering i've read numerous other reviews with customers having the SAME experience as me!!
Only watch design is worth 5 stars. EA is one of my favorite brands, but this time let me down. Product prised too high. People are ready to spend money, but in return, would be nice to get right quality. Like hybrid smartwatch it does very poor job. All the time you need to sync it manualy, when left your phone behind. Conectivyty takes too long. Have product for a week and it wasn't working for 4 days already. Lost my records, item was unusable. Now works fine, but a bad experience.
Three stars just because the watch looks lovely, shame the software is not as good 😓 my phone has connected to the watch via Bluetooth but the in app setup cannot see the watch ... Which is odd. Downloading an update on the watch to see if that makes any difference, was hoping for more considering the cost and the manufacturer.
Bought this middle of last year (2019) around Father's Day. The band for the first month or so of daily use caused some skin irritation but nothing major. Went away after that and hasn't come back. Works great and functions great otherwise and I wore it daily everywhere, I have no complaints other than that beginning irritation from the band. Totally buy another if something happened to this one. Really glad to add it to my collection.
Well designed, some missing features Nice and simple app, it was easy to connect, calibrate and customise my watch. Features are great, but there are some simple functions what I'm missing (and expect a £250 / $300 hybrid watch to do): A pre-set timer function with a simple button activation would be great and maybe a stopwatch / second counter too (I'd imagine it would be battery draining). An auto sync function (daily) could also be beneficial.
I'm just getting used to everything my watch can do, but it's great so far. Maybe the battery lasting longer than the average stated time of 4 - 6 months would be good. I guess it wouldn't be too bad if it doesn't cost a small fortune, my last Armani Watch, just a regular watch & cost me £35 & they scratched the back in the process. 🤗 *EDIT* New watch is standing up fine, the batteries are really affordable & you do it yourself with a slight twist 2 the left, simple! Not that great when compared to price. Step count is not that correct. Most of the steps miss out. App in my phone counts far better than this watch. Waste off money... And also the concept to show only notification by turning to any configured number itself is not that intuitive as we cannot see that message..
Bought new watch, problem is the app won't sync the steps with Google fit, keeps saying app blocked. Every other app works with Google fit fine, so it's a developer/ea connected problem. Pointless hybrid watch. Watch itself is great though
Team, the watch time keep changing now and then without me doing anything with the watch. I am assuming when it gets in contact with other device with Bluetooth it's effect the time. It's quite often and happening from a year now. Can you please fix this in the next firmware update. Thank you
Incredibly slow. Whether it is to display steps or turn an alarm on or off. This app is painfully slow to respond. Also occasionally not responding at all. Meaning it has to be force closed and re-opened to try again. A nice looking app, but nowhere near the quality you would associate with the Armani brand. Requires urgent review & improvement. The app is poor enough to make me question keeping using the watch. Since I wrote this review, the app & watch has got worse. Now my watch wont connect
The new firmware upgrade has screwed up the watch. First it is not compatible anymore with my OnePlus 6 which recently got Android 11. When I tried pairing with an older android device, it connected, set the time but the date would not budge from 1. It's broken. Totally worthless firmware upgrade. Untested update sent to market. Shame !!!
The one update in years and they break the app even more. For me 1st button is for finding the device and second for controling music. 1st button now doesnt cancel when you press it again. 2nd button just compleatly doesnt work. They also removed the panel in notifications where you could see your step and sleep goals. Now you have to go to the app to see that. If i could give this 0 stars I would because when they ask you for feedback it goes to a 404 page. They just ripped off fossil app
It was a gift from my wife, so I was keen on wearing this watch. Terrible experience. Do not connect. Gives wrong time. Even a stalled watch would give correct time twice a day. This one is always two hours ahead. The app fails miserably. I sent it for repair in France. It cost me good money and many days of waiting. It came back. Still doesn't work. I want my money back.
Guys, it's not funny. From the very beginning watches didn't react for any notifications. After sometime they started, but now time is always wrong. Hour hand is always in the wrong position, and it changes every hour. Calibrate doesn't help
Struggling to keep the watch at the correct time. Every time a notification comes through, when it returns to the time, it has completely changed and will not revert back. Very frustrating!!
"My people" function not working. From an active development team and a reputable brand for what you are, such bugs are not expected. Hoping a quick fix. Thanks. I purchased emporio Armani watch 3 months back. And had the worst experience. I bought in November and regrettably it stopped functioning after a month. It's been in a service centre for more than a month now. They don't even assure to exchange it. After a continuous follow-up now they say the parts are not available in India. They have to import it. Even if I receive a watch now I am not satisfied at all to use repaired watch after paying a huge amount. Guys please don't go for this brand
This watch keeps good time but falls short as a smart watch, the step count measures less than half the steps of a traditional pedometer and while it alerts you of emails etc. you can't preview anything. Overall disappointed with the product and would not have purchased had I known these shortcomings.
The app is basic. They need to incorporate more advanced features and put more time/money into it. Pretty sure the step counter and the sleep counter arn't overly accurate. Nicely designed.
I just bought my watch, tried to connect and it won't, not once, my phone can see the watch popping up in its Bluetooth list, but the bloody app won't see it. Waste of a fair amount of money, can't believe this! Really hope they fix the f-ing app
I am very disappointed with the product. The hour hand is always out of sync and the notification alerts does not always work. I do not recommend buying the watch nor installing this app.
This app is not compatible with Google Fit despite my watch being advertised that it is. Security updates need to be done and Fossil who make the watch refuse to take responsibility. This defeats the whole purpose of buying the watch as I needed it to sync with Google. Absolute Joke.
Watch vibrates for applications that are not set-up and the watch keeps changing times on its own. App user interface also doesn't help diagnose the problem and is very counter intuitive
Can't use the watch further than 3 meters. Most of the times the function buttons do not work. The step counter does not record steps accurately. There's a massive lag between pressing a button on the watch and the phone actually receiving the command... But still can use it if patient enough. I guess the main reason for having it is to get notifications only.
