Great app, really refreshing to not have delayed full screen ads - that pop up when you're scrolling - to annoy your experience. No subscriptions either, putting it ahead of it's rivals.
Extremely poor app. Cannot play videos keeps loading. I have uninstalled and installed again to try and reboot it but nothing works. A far cry if u compare it to News24 which is flawless and has more news stories by far than enca☹☹☹
Fails to load properly, doesn't link to selected headlines, goes to wrong news categories. Very short summaries only, so no detail or insights . Have uninstalled it, now using a different news provider.
The app has been saying oops! Since I downloaded it. I haven't been able to see any content after Uninstalling and re-installing. Trying mobile data and WiFi. Useless.
Typical. Freshly installed and already spreading the festive joy with error messages. Don't waste your time with this one folks. Furthermore, the app offers headlines with no substance to the actual stories. Replica of the website....frustrating.
This app can and should be improved. When I click on the news notification it does not directly send me to the actual story. It directs me to the home page and I would then have to look for the story, which in most cases doesn't appear on the home page.
So glad there's an alternative to news24. None of those full screen pop up ads. Lacking in enough up to date content though. This app can only get better.
Keeps one up to date with the latest news, it is easy to use and good to see the videos on important events. Far more enjoyable than just reading the text.
So far so good. Much better than news24, which we have to pay a subscription fee to read certain articles. Way less ads. Just hope enca does not do the same.
When you get an alert and you click on it it must take you directly to that story not to the main page. It's very irritating to have to look for the story again on the app
One would have thought that with all the critical reviews pence's app developer would have taken note. This app is now totally useless not user friendly not readable I used to have it as my no1 news got now I have uninstalled it for the second time. Please wake up and do something!!!!
The app closes every time I try to search anything. It also won't allow me to send feedback reports.
Not all functions work such as the weather and some stories. Some of the story display windows are empty.
Going to a news story from a notication takes you to the homepage and you have to dig around for the article. Seems its gotten worse, because now you have to sit through a mandatory video ad to view a story! Not for me...
It's pretty useless. Old news and the notification just does not open and the app does not set up on home page. Where it is I have no idea
I love this new latest refined version of this app, totally up to date and not so full of ads. But it still doesn't include the 'entertainment news' section.
Not great. The latest news always says there's an issue and won't load. I know it's not an internet issue because the business and other news loads.
Only one issue with it, I have logged into Disqus to comment on articles, yet it does not allow me to post comments. Can't even contact them directly in the app to reporttheproblem. Not sure if anyone else has this issue.
What a useless news app. Under reported/lazy articles and push notifications don't open when you click on them. Categorised articles are often the same accross numerous categories.
The app seems to not be updating, as I still have news stories from late July of 2018. When going to the news categories, the news storys are not sorted and appear more than once
What is the point of irritating readers with breaking news alerts when there is no content to find out more about the supposed breaking news.
I like because it keeps me updated especially because in my area there is a lot of load shedding so i miss out on a lot so it helps having your news right here on your phone and kept updated by accurate news
Very informative, but updates on news to far apart, also no weather, please add the weather reports for the week.
Since the new update to the app, news is not updated. When I open in the morning, it always shows under latest, updated 1 day ago
great app. better than reading a news paper. news articles can both be read and watched. no better combination.
News uptaing is a bit scant, and have had problems with the market section sometimes not display even deleted and re-installed.
First two tabs has nothing, most needed tabs through the app, no news, breaking news available, not sure whats the use of this app then.
The different news categories contain the same articles, so what is the use of the various news categories, and many duplicated articles - app seriously broken
Terrible news App. Used to be good. From November 2019 news no longer updated live, but now runs 19 to 48 hours after the event. The app only updates news once a day. One line news alerts happen, but if you click on them, you are taken to the old non updated news. So the eNCA app is a waste of time.
