It's Been an exceptionally great app, so easy to use. I wish all the Contractors we worked for would adapt to this app.
The app is easy to use but there should be an option to zoom in/out when taking photos. My phone is a Galaxy S20 and I have to step back every time I want to take a photo because the camera is too zoomed in and there's no way to zoom out!!!!!
Love this app. Easy to use. Great features. My favorite feature is using a whole room picture for adding individual items. Makes it so much easier/quicker than taking individual pictures of everything. Some have said you can only add one picture. All you have to do do for more is add a picture under the note section and you can have as many pictures of the item you want. Makes a great pdf file of items with pictures to send to who I need as well.
Excellent very intuitive app, records essential information very easily. Very quick to build up an inventory of household items for insurance purposes. Able to create individual rooms, take general photos then list the individual items with overall photo then add a model /serial number photo. Also able to look up replacement costs and add that to the record. All in all great way to easily achieve a fairly mundane but useful task. Syncs accross devices and can be viewed / edited on PC as well.
We use it mostly for structure photo reports but it's amazing for contents . Cons are It needs annotation tools and the camera in the app can be laggy at times. Great for claims where there are multiple people visiting the site and documenting the damages. It's also great if you have to revisit the site and explain or dispute damages because of how well organized the photos are, and you can jump right back into the room or item and take notes.
Overall great app, but crashing now since latest update when attempting to edit inspection date. Also, if app was previously set to use wifi only, won't load anything when not connected to wifi (hangs with revolving orange circle after initial splaah screen load ) until you are on a wifi network, useless in the field. Would be great to have option to select alternative camera lens if available (superwide or telephoto).
Awesome app. Item lookup option is great and facilitated the inventory creation. Option to generate reports makes it easy to gather all your information in a well organized matter. Only suggestion is to make the overall house value in the room/house menu since (I believe) the only way to see it is by generating a report. Overall, the app exceeded my expectations and I highly recommend it.
Worked very well for me, been using it for several years ... until we moved. I wanted to 1) create a new property for my new home and add all the rooms to it; and then 2) move items from the old property to the right rooms in the new property. We were downsizing, had to put a lot of things in storage, things were going in different rooms, etc. But there doesn't seem to be a straightforward way to do this. I'm having to start from scratch, find old receipts, re-take photos, type in prices, model numbers etc. The only help I could find for moving items seemed to involve the spreadsheet view, copying photos, and deleting the photos from the old property. But that still means entering all the information over again. And the help page was designed for Restoration Contractors, not home owners/renters (apparently the main focus of Encircle is to support the contractors). To my mind the lack of support for moving to a new residence is a major deficit in the app. So now I'm researching other home inventory apps. We're probably moving again in a year or two, and I don't want to have to re-do all the work a third time.
Awesome awesome app. And it is totally free. No ads at all. Very very simple to use. Has tons of features. I wish if it was possible to put subcategory in rooms like boxes and things inside boxes. I got around by arranging rooms with boxes in between them and also showing boxes as rooms content. A bit odd but totally workable. It uploads pictures to their server and can be updated from multiple devices from family members running same account. Can also log in from desktop. 5 stars.
Started off easy to create rooms and add photos but then couldn't get photos downloaded out of the app and the app keeps crashing. And then photos taken in the app don't show up in the web version. Annoying that the data doesn't match.
I tried every Home Inventory app I could find, and this one is the best of them. It works incredibly well in tandem with the Web app. Free and no ads, too. Exceptional!
Worked until new update. Then it gets stuck on opening screen and won't load
App is very easy to use overall. However, from time to time it's functions stop working and syncs get "stuck".
Whoa! What broke? I logged into the new web app and when I click rooms I've inventoried, it doesn't show the list of items. I use to be able to view spreadsheet style or photos of all items in a room.
Brilliant app for organizing your possession, was huge help preparing customs paperwork with our international move. Export to excel is extremely handy and photos great for insurance forms. Even our relocation company was impressed!
Very good app, wish there was abiblity to add more than 1 photo for each individual item though. And ability to add shelf+shelf contents instead of having to just add everything in one room
This app has helped me in so many different ways, everything from photos and description to text notes and photo notes. user friendly easy to share and lets u link up clients so they have piece of mind and view what youhave done
Love the app using it to inventory all my stuff in case of a fire or whatnot. 5 stars if each item had more than 3 photos available. Easy enough to use that my 6 year old inventoried his own room on the iPad version.
It won't load the majority of the time, it loses data and doesn't store photos in order.
this app would get more stars if there was a training option for businesses. not everything on the app is easy to use so training for businesses would be greatly beneficial
Creates an organized and very useful catalog of everything. Good reports make sharing the information easy.

Finally. After years of searching, the app I've been looking for. This does everything I need on multiple platforms!
This works for my home inventory. In spite of some problems (mainly because home inventory is not the main purpose of the app), I keep coming back to it. We are moving, and within the app I am moving inventory items to our new home as they are packed. I like that it's easy to take item photos, and to photograph receipts (easier than scanning them), but wish I could download photos from the internet for items I have already packed or are not easy to access. A user-defined field would be great.
