It is great to have a free app to watch TVB shows legally on my phone. But there are a few annoyances that needed to be fixed. ADs freezing often then would have to exit and start all over to find where I left off with more ADs which sometimes freezes up again. Some episodes have wrong language playing or the video and audio are not synced. There is no way to let someone know to fix the specific episode. It would be great to have a place inside the app to report those issues.

The app started hanging a week ago. When an ad ran at the beginning of a show, it stopped to a black screen. This happend mostly with full length ad like Disney. If I am lucky enough to get pass the first ad ( those came with the skip ad option), streaming stops at around 15 min. then a black screen appears. Using Android 6.0. Encore TVB English works fine by the way.

Great to have all these shows available. The con is the app is inconsistent. Sometimes the control panel can be seen (stop, play, fwd, rewind) at the bottom of the screen. But for some shows and episodes, it can't be seen. The controls still work but you're tapping or swiping blind.

Total piece of junk with tons of commercials! Worse, can't resume playing after commercials! Forced to watch commercials after commercials but can't watch anything after those! Because it's usually stalled after Volvo commercial, it now made me HATE VOLVE! Audio doesn't sync with video in lots of episodes on top to unable to resume after freezes

Here's what I don't like. After watching parts of a TV series, you suddenly get multiple ads in which didn't seem to work at all and you get as many as 30 ads. Why on earth would you something like that? If you want people to use this app Here's my solution; limit the ads to 2.

I enjoy watching entertaining HK shows using this app on the iPad. I tried to run the Android version on my Chromebook. The Chromebook version seems to have a bug in that it won't show the list of episodes for a show . I can not select a particular episode to watch. I logged in with my TVB account and it supposed to remember the last episode I watched and let me continue to watch where I left off (as in the iPad case), but the Android version on the Chromebook won't let me do that.

Randomly starts from the beginning after watching ads forcing you to watch several more segments of ads to get back to where you were. Sometimes freezes after watching ads forcing you to go back out and once again rewatch several ad segments to get back to where you originally were.

I installed the app in 2/2019 and it worked fine for 2 weeks. After the update on 3/3/2019, the video stream would stall and never resume again. I have tried to restart the app, restart my phone, reinstall the app, reboot my router to rule out connection issues, and nothing worked. I was watching a drama series and am quite disappointed that the app no longer works.

Too many commercials. Sometimes they freeze so have to restart. Problem hasn't been fixed yet. Also, would be nice if episodes have English subtitles.

There's a blue screen commercial pop up every time when I tap the episode but never play the show , very annoying and disappointed . The app is no good . I was looking forward to see so many good episodes . Now can't see anything .

Some of the shows appear on the pages and you can select it but once you try to play the episodes, it'll say it's been taken down. I've notice this is for most of the old variety/entertainment shows.

App is currently not working on Samsung or Android Devices! Please fix. Also, overall the app is great, but the volume for the ads can vary and some are very very loud. So loud it can pop a speaker.

Don't mind about the commercial but sometimes the ad stopped or showed back to back twice and i have to start it up again then another commercial started. Mouse interface doesn't work neither. it's annoying!

Uber's eat keep coming up and blocking the encoreTVB apps for the last 3 days. My friends and I cannot even open the Encore TVB apps anymore. We all attempted to uninstall and reinstall the encore tvb apps, and it still not working, very frustrating!!!!!!

This app is horrible. The shows keep stopping for no reason. If TVB wants people to enjoy the shows, they should have fixed these bugs ages ago!! TVB should update the app ASAP. Also, there is no sort or filter in this app. Seriously, how can there be no sort and filter?!??!?!? TVB should pull its act together, get with the program!! Major disappoinment!!

The app is great but the commercials are way too loud. You really should think about adjusting the commercial volume because I'm just gonna keep muting the commercials if they're so loud!!

Every time the commercial starts the volume is 10 times as loud as the show that is playing. So every time commercial starts I have to turn down the volume. Very irritating

Not able to resume where you left off and too many ads. Recently I can not launch the app as it keeps crashing. Useless and waste of my time。

Horrible. More ads than YouTube. Crashed more than YouTube ads. No cookies to keep tab on your previous show you watch. Straight up an ad app. Money hungry company. Fyi, most if the shows you can find it on YouTube with higher video quality. Also vchannel is free the last time I used it. No ads too.

If i could give this app less than 1 i would the ads freezing is getting old and very annoying way too much deleting the app going to file a complaint with google

Free and good shows but the damn ads. Any time you touch the damn screen, you get 3 ads. Can't even skip or something because of that. I feel I'm watching more ads than shows.

I don't mind the ad, but those video ads like Maybelline always crashed the app. Now I literally hate Maybelline, I tried for 10 mins trying to finish my show and those stupid ads keep clashing it.

With the android phone, even though I have selected continue s watching from last play, the system always go back to the first episode and it doesn't allow me to select which episode I want to play.

Works on tablet but not compatible with Android TV. Any plan on supporting it? Seems a no brainer to allow users to watch your TV programs on an actual TV.

Free access to a lot of programs. Shows running smoothly with reasonable amount of ads. Highly recommended.
