Encyclopedia by Farlex

This app only contains general information and is lacking in detailed and informative information. For example, I typed, 'history of parole', and got nothing. Definitely not what I expected. Furthermore, user interface is almost nonexistent. Only a search window! Really devs!!! And where are the visuals? Huh! I looked up several topics and only got a consolidated description with references and no visuals. References are hit and miss as well. At least the app includes diagrams.

Big fan of the idea but I couldn't find what I was looking for the deffention for binaural beats or the history or something anything about it. There's always room for improvement. I'd really like to know but so far the list is long.

I am one star away from a 5/5 but it is not a reason to not use this encyclopedia. It's full of information, you can get lost in those pages for hours. My only critique is minimum but it would be nice to see a more interactive launch screen. The opening is a search box and that's it I think to get more users, it would be great to have a "random topic", "topic of the day", "this day in history,", like Wikipedia. Still a 4/5 for me, just limiting to a search opening is my only issue.

I have looked up 2 words so far, both were included and in depth. I gave it 4 stars because nothing is perfect. I hate when an app ask for a review before you can actually use it. That's just stupid. I'm sure iy will ask again for a review and I will access it again at that time.

I love this app from the first word I searched was tetracycline to compare it with online Wikipedia's information. This app was more informative in the degree of information it offered. Thank to the Developers in gathering so much useful literature. And also to the developers don't let the handful of idiots that don't like your app discourage you because they're just a bunch of small minded individual that will never be satisfied with anything no matter how good it is.

This app would have been better if it had a means of saving articles for offline use. Consider adding that feature. Remember that we find the same things we find in it when we search google. And we even get more. So there should be something better about this app.

Could have been better if you can save files for offline use. Otherwise, you can just use bowser and search for Wikipedia. It just links the searches to the Wikipedia itself.

I've just begun using this app. At this early point, I would say it's good for basic reference on widely known topics. I've only read two articles but have already noticed that several reference citations are quite dated. I'll try it for a bit as general filler reading and time passer.

I felt always delightful using this ENCYCLOPEDIA. I have never disappointed using this ENCYCLOPEDIA because it gives detail answers based on facts. I have not felt any other enyclopedias instead of this. Thanks a lot for offerer,editors,developer,article writers,photographers etc.

Very Informative and easy to use, if you know exactly what you are looking for. Not like Wikipedia in the sense you cannot get information about movies, books etc.

Came up as first search result of encyclopedia offline yet does not work offline. Dont know how hard it has to be to make a book offline like all the others. Update. Changed to 3 stars as the developer actually respended positively.

Help full but i think if it be showing some easy English language or may be translation in hind it would be better i think. love from India 💗

If you're not real sure, what information you're searching for, this App doesn't help to narrow your options down. It's great if you know exactly what specific information you want!

Rated 4 stars crashes first time you try to use it fix and I'll give 5 stars have to reopen app to type in search very informative like other then crashing first time you open it

I find it helpful. Searching for info is so easier, and there's reference for facts.

As a fan of the Farlex free dictionary, very happy to find this app. Both use multisources, and I continue to evaluate this.

Should have been offline considering size Edit- You could atleast make content you have uptill now offline like version 2020a or something. And also size of app is enormous
