This game caught my attention, a brilliant one that needs to be seen. The amount of characters you can choose for, exploring and preparing to defeat the ultimate enemy (and the rivals) before the world ends. It's been a great experience so far despite some minor translation issues and laggy map navigation but still would definitely recommend! Also I like the overall theme and the story behind it.
It's a very short game that makes a good effort. It is simplicity itself; you have two heroes and 100 days at your disposal to beat the Demon Lord or the world ends. The menu theme is quite charming and emotional, the game play requires a minimum amount of skill and the items need to be carefully selected as well as the enhancements you use on them. Overall the game has little replay value unless you are wiling to buy new playable characters and rivals for a spot of difference in a new game.
Despite the rocky first hours, I've been having a ton of fun exploring and looking for newer and crazier combinations each run, characters are so customizable its a little overwhelming, and the wonky translations might offput some people but once you get the hang of things, its pretty hard to put down. Satan was a hurdle but a decent challenge. Now his stronger form is a walking fortress outfitted with a nuke. Its also available offline now, so it gets extra points for me.
Charming, visually beautiful and well intentioned. The english translation needs some love (Yes it has english despite the play store images only showing runes) but underneath it all is a surprisingly deep RPG style roguelike. Just piles of characters and items and abilities and more to give the type of variety you crave. Strive to make the most broken combinations you can before the enemies out broken you. Then upgrade and unlock more stuff and try it all again. Give it a try!
It still needs a lot of work. Translation still needs to be done, or it may just need to be fixed in some places. For some reason it runs slowly or choppy on my phone. The tutorial points things out, but when I attempt to interact with the thing it is pointing out it tells me I need to move to that thing's space or something like that, which... If that is a mechanic of the game, it is never explained how to do it. I would like to enjoy this game, but it is barely playable in its current state.
Since the update, they have added a few more modes, as well as playable/rival characters to unlock. They also did a good job on seasonal activities and rewards. Not aggressive with in-app purchases and gives you plenty of chances to gain characters menu items in between adventures. All-in-all, good hidden gem to play in your free time!
An excellent addition to the roguelike genre. The game has a ton of interesting party-building with a wide variety of equipment options. At it's core, this is a game of resource management. You need to carefully spend the resources that you have in order to have the strongest party possible to take on Satan before he destroys the world. However, defeating Satan is just the first step ... The game has a ton of end-game content and alternate game modes. I will be playing this game for a long time!
Great game from the same makers as Buriedbornes(even has a lot of the same icons from it too), as usual tricky to navigate and the translation isn't great but it's a great roguelite, not as tough as Buriedbornes but it is fun in its own way. Anime art, interesting setting only gripe with it is the time limit, I get why it's there it just feels less exploration more rush
Absolutely one of my favorite games of all time. Ending Days was ohNussy's effort to expand and deepen the Buriedbornes experience, and it never got the recognition it deserved. A deep, weird, artistically brilliant effort from one of the world's most distinctive and talented solo developers.
Game is great, last time when I installed the app I was able to recover my account which I unlocked a lot of characters. When I tried to retrieve my account, it is gone and making me start all over again. Can't put more time in a game when your account is gone..
It feels like very little effort was put into this game. If the low quality of the images was intentional, it should carry into all aspects of the game, including the buttons. The UI feels thrown together without being tested once during development. It does provide English text, but it is clearly machine translated with only minor improvements. The tutorial explains how to use only what item to click without much planning for the future. There is no clear story to the game. This feels like something that did just enough to get in on current market trends, but was not overly concerned with being an actual game.
I love BuriedBornes and this scratches the same kind of itch. Loads of fun and finally got my first Satan kill after trying various things. No need to spend money, I've unlocked tons of stuff just playing normally. However the latest patch seems to have broken adding mods to skills and that's cost me a couple runs. I would give it 5 stars once that bug is fixed. edit - bug is fixed already so 5 stars from me.
I like the theme and concept of the game easy to use UI. But the story is short and repeatable that makes it sometimes boring...
You have 100 days to level up and find good loot for your characters to stop the big bad guy. I haven't won yet but each run i learn something different and try different approaches. This game uses the Buriedborne engine. Even though it's a bit more polished, it just lacks something.
Worthy successor to buriedbornes. Translation is lacking, but everything (that matters) is easy enough to understand. Has gachas for ingame currency ONLY, gachas are also very fair. Paid currency can buy things outright. Has issues with difficulty - it's either too easy or impossible without resorting to significant cheese.
For the last few years I have been hoping that the developer would unveil a sequel to one of my favourite mobile Roguelikes: Buriedbornes. Whilst this title is no Buriedbornes 2, it is still a fun title and has some familiar mechanics to fans. I will probably come back in a few months to see how development has progressed as the game feels a tad unpolished and incomplete with regards to its English translations.
Terrible. This is NOT an offline game. Even after downloading an extra 300+ megs of files, trying to start the game in offline mode still causes it to communicate with a server to look for those files, preventing the game from starting. Don't bother with this...
Edited due to lag fixed. Translations and correlation between skills and stats still a bit iffy though. Almost unplayable due to freezes and lag during combat... Still lacking in translation. Would be a great game if at least the lag was removed.
Its like buried bornes version 2, my main concern is that this game is not optimize to old devices, operating the map navigation slows my gaming experience but its because of my device, the game gives a newer perspective controling two character is awesome, battles are fine on slower and older devices that just the map navigation outside the battle scene are not optimize,
I really really love this game! It's sad though to know that this game will not get the massive update anymore, but still, you developers are kind enough to run the game for us to enjoy it! Even though the story got the potential (and is quite intriguing to be honest), the translation is quite poor and thus affect the gameplay at least for me. That aside, what makes me attached to this game is not the characters and story itself but the ingame musics for every specific interactions. 5 star!
I like it. Its a similar game to Buriedbornes, but a totally different visual style. I would give 5, but it runs slow and sometimes just grinds to a halt on the main map. Over all, good game.
Absolutely amazing underrated game. The plot is that you are the one choosing and guiding braves on their mission to slay the demon King. The smart fusion of rogue like game play, field exploration, and turn based combat brings the gameplay to a very addictive level.
despite being laggy, i know it's an early build. one that will improve over time. im hopeful for the game, I've played buriedbornes and i feel this is a major step up. i cant wait for a few months to pass, to let the updates smooth out.
It's a great game, but it's dying and needs more attention. First off, yes this game does have an english translation although it does need some work. It's the best and most free-to-play game I've seen on the playstore. See other's reviews if you need an explanation of how, but as I've said the game needs attention as development has slowed due to the small playerbase. Do yourself and the devs a favor by downloading, beating the game and sharing it, maybe even reviewing it too. It deserves it.
Great style and concept. However, the game slows down alot in combat after getting more than 2 buffs or debuffs. If that slow down could be fixed this would be a great game.
Another fascinating game from this developer. Similar in many ways to Buriedbornes, but expands the experience immensely. Conquer a continent while growing your two heroes in power, strong enough to take down 'Satan' before doom envelopes all. I'll be spending plenty of time on this one.
A little clunky but a great game to waste time with. The two main things I saw that were detremental were, a hiccup in the progression, where events or achievements are slow to realize conpletion, and minor grammar and translation mistakes.
Game is pretty good. I think the dev team is litteraly 1 guy, man works hard to fix the issues and also has to translate. That takes time cut him some slack. Only problem I have is that the overworld is incredibly laggy, and I don't know if it's the game itself or something with my phone.
Love the game so much but the game freezes a lot, have missing translation, insufficient explanation (item, skill, item, buff/debuff, hero, perk, item, etc) and the offline mode doesn't seem to be working
Deep card battling style RPG, with a wide variety of skills, equipment, and character upgrades. The actual battling mechanics are relatively simple, but it's where to go next and what to upgrade or improve next and when, is where the depth comes in. They don't hold your hand with a boring tutorial, and there is complexity, but if you just start playing and perusing the game, it took me about a half hour to learn what was going on. One of the hidden gems in the playstore.
