When David Guzik was a young pastor in Simi Valley, California, he (among many other pastors) was asked to send his teaching notes to the developers of a new internet Bible research site: Blue Letter Bible. In the late 1990’s, David’s material first appeared on the Blue Letter Bible, and was found to be a valuable resource.
David’s Bible resources – both in text and through audio and video – are used by many thousands of people every day. Many pastors, Bible teachers, and everyday Christians find these materials helpful.

Thank you! This is much easier to use than on the browser. Though, I would like to ask if we could have a feauture where we can only highlight a certain part of the commentary and not the whole page. Overall, the app is easy to use and the commentaries are great. It has a great structure and not too complicated to read.
so grateful for this app!! enduring word has been so incredibly helpful in my pursuit of God's Word. i really appreciate the fact that there are several quotes from other known faith leaders such as Spurgeon + Clarke. the only thing stopping me from giving this app 5 stars is that there are an incredible amount of typos, grammatical errors, etc. it makes some it difficult to follow + is overall an annoyance. however, the content is fantastic!!
Overall a good app. However when I'm reading the commentary the forward and back navigation arrows do not work so I cannot move onto the next chapter nor go back to the previous one.
Love it! Thank you for such an edifying app! Has greatly improved my understanding of the Bible. Can I please ask that you add the feature of allowing the reader to HIGHLIGHT parts of the text with a few colour options? Great easy to read and comprehend Bible commentary for KJV. Very helpful! But sometimes I don't get the commentary that includes scripture references I can highlight and the highlight takes me straight to the scripture without searching the Web.
This app is really helpful to believers and the commentaries all refer to other scriptures/verses to help you further understand the context of each verse or portions of scripture. I recommend this for all Christians who desire to have a better understanding of God's Word . My one suggestion for developer is to add button where you can jump to specific verse.
I've been using the website for a few months now and it has helped me to truly understand the bible and the meaning behind the scripture! Now seeing an app I'm so excited!!! I wish we could highlight stuff instead of just bookmarking it but that I can manage without. This is the only commentary I've found that doesn't make things more confusing or over do scripture. I love it!!!
Great app very useful when you want to dive deep into EVERY verse and parts of it.. However it would be useful to be able to search a specific verse to find out what that ONE VERSE means in depth and to be able to mark where you left of.. But overall its a GREAT resource for Bible study.
I have been following Guzik's Enduring Word commentary for at least 10 years by now - it's simply among the best online Bible commentary out there. I was very excited to hear that it has been turned into an app, but only for the iOS for a while. Now that it's now out on Android I couldn't be happier! If I may suggest features that would greatly improve the app further would be offline reading mode and the pop-up Blue Letter Bible scripture reference just like on the website. God bless!
I have been using the Enduring Word website for over 2 years and I am thrilled to find an app for my android. This platform has changed my life and has brought another element into my bible studies. I would highly suggest this app to anyone looking for an indepth and meaningful experience. My only negative comment are the few typos. God bless!
Love the commentary but I really don't like that the app will not keep my place. It resets very often and I have to remember where I was last reading at. I don't want to have to create a ton of bookmarks just because the app keeps resetting.
Excellent commentary for having alongside while reading the Word. I use it with my daily Bible reading. However, there are many typo errors throughout. I wish they would do some correcting.
It's a reliable and effective app for reading God's Word, always find myself spending more time than I realise in it - only criticism (and someone mentioned this before) is either writing the full name of the authors who is quoted or having a link to find out more about them. Otherwise amazing app, keep doing what you're doing for the Kingdom!
It's a wonderful app. I have been using it for more than an year. Gives us better understanding when we don't understand the verse properly. I recommend everyone who enjoy reading the Word to download this as it gives you better understanding!!! God bless!!!
Great app! Only one flaw to report. When I select rotate mode with my phone, it doesn't scroll all the way down to the end of the chapter. I have a Galaxy s7. God bless.
I love this app. It breaks down everything in the Bible to make things more understandable, which is exactly what I was looking for. The only thing I'd like to see added is highlighting so I can go back and reread those scriptures as needed.
This app is fantastic! I use it all the time! It is nice to find an updated bible commentary that is easy to understand that breaks down scripture to make sense of it. Good theology, good references, and extremely convenient. Thank you so much for this app because it is truly a blessing in this time of uncertainty in our culture today.
Great Free Commentary! I never write reviews for apps, but I need to for this one. I've been searching for an in-depth commentary to use in my personal study and this is a great one. Lots of tidbits from different scholars and from different points of view over scripture passages. I recommend.

What a gift from the holy spirit to use you to produce a beautifully and easy to read a break down of each scripture. So much time and love has gone into all this and for free! An excellent commentary app. Features are great. I wish there was a way to bookmark a paragraph. Its difficult to find where I left off. Still love the app!
It's somehow good. Thank you for making it an app. But you improve on choosing book and chapter section. Can it just right away on the book and chapter selection right away without clicking book and chapter chronologically. Thanks🙂

This app helps sustantionally with Bible studying, although I like to do my Bible study on my own, and learn what the verse is trying to say through the help of the Holy spirit, this app is nice for allowing us to view a meaning in the verse that we didn't quite look at on our own. Amazing app

The app is amazing for personal bible study, however it would be really nice if a person could select not only the book & chapter but also select the exact verses instead of having to scroll looking for a particular verse
Loving the app, but would love it if you could add the feature where when we open the app again, it takes us back to where we stopped reading. It's kind of time consuming to scroll through the whole chapter. Another feature would be to highlight or separately bookmark certain verses. I do know you have the bookmark option for the chapter. But I would suggest to add these two features as they will help better. The app is definitely informative and helpful and easy to understand. G-d bless.
