The object of the race is to pass a certain amount of cars each day. Doing so will allow the player to continue racing for the next day. The driver must avoid other racers and pass 200 cars on the first day, and 300 cars with each following day. As time passes in the game, visibility changes as well. When the night is comming in the game the player can only see the oncoming cars' taillights. As the days progress, cars will become more difficult to avoid as well. Weather and time of day are factors in how to play. During the day the player may drive through an icy patch on the road which would limit control of the vehicle, or a patch of fog may reduce visibility. ================================= Tip == Your score is based on the distance you drive, so drive with higher speed to gain more score, and be careful not to hit other cars. when I saw that Enduro was available for Android, I was so excited. I used to play it a lot on my old Atari 2600. I never managed to finish the race, but I enjoyed the thrill of driving. while this version is pretty faithful to the original in terms of graphics and sound, the controls leave something to be desired. the ads constantly cover the controls. I would gladly pay to get rid of the ads. I also wish the left and right controls could be replaced with tilt screen control. it would help.
Author tries to force his naff motion controls down your throat by purposely making the touch controls unusable: brake is directly above left, accelerate is above right. Good luck if you need to brake during a left bend or accelerate in a right one. Obnoxiously idiotic UI design. (albeit one that gets him more ad revenue, since you have to sit through an ad at the end of every game)
Edit: there's a bug in the tilt/gyro control: it doesn't change if you flipped the screen, unless that's an option. I'm highly impressed at how close it resembled the original and how smooth it is. I think the creator made a balance between what to smoothen (like the scaling and the road turning) and what to stay true to the original. At first I thought it would be a crappy remake without any understanding of the 2600 system. The speed meter is a nice addition and the game is about as tough as the original.

So many ads. Blocks the view of game when you are playing. This update broken the play experience.
I spent hours a day playing this in my Atari 2600 growing up, and freaked out seeing this in Google play store. True there is no joystick or red button to push, but instead of jerkinv my arms when working the joystick, it actually turns the car now when I move the phone. Love this game!
Keep up the good work.0 adds prefect controls identical to the original. I personally thank you for the dedication you put into this app
It's OK pretty boring after a while.
Too bad controls. Should be "accelerate" and "brake" on left side of the screen and "turn left or right" on right side of the screen". That would be a great improvement and more easier an natural for control

I. Grew up playing. This fav atari game. What a memories back in that time when i was in elementary. School. 4Me it's one of the best games ever.... along with contra game the original.
Ads are kind of intrusive, but the rest is quite fun anyway. I hope you're paying the due royalties to the original makers of the game since you're making money with it. Either that or remove the ads.
Positioning of control buttons makes it hard to control car otherwise I'd give it a higher rating.

played this as a kid, installed it 3 seconds later went onto motorbike finance ad and froze, absolute joke!
