Engie - Easy Auto Repair

SLOW!!!! Very unresponsive app!!! It's such a drain on the battery when it's active that while driving with the app running (in the background, Waze is in the foreground) my battery actually drops despite being connected to a charger. when I used the device with a different OBD app, and did everything else exactly the same, my battery level went up, not down. Also, it only checks 4 systems in the car, since it's an OBD device, it can actually do a lot more. I did like getting quotes for service.

The concept is ok but the only thing that annoying me is that the app can't understand that if I stopped to fresh up or something the app think I started a new trip. I expect from the app to understand that the trip is one big trip with some stops. You can even show a message to the user to select if it's new trip.

Installed it mainly to see the fuel consumtion , but almost all features in the app are very low quality : 1) fuel consumption, battery, alternator , etc.. status is not displayed real time , only after finished the trip or pressed especially to check it = almost useless 2) trip history map is not pressable/ enlargeable and displayed only for last trip as small picture. 3) no export option for the data

it did work on my note5, and was able to save me some money by knowing what was wrong with my vehicle, however, I was experiencing issues with my phone NOT charging at 100% and charging very slowly, after some troubleshooting steps, I removed the app, and now my phone went back to normal, it charges like it used to before. I will recommend the app but along with the warning that it may affect the charging capabilities of the device used to install it at.

This was a great app, but the company closed and they're not offering service or support. You can still download the app but you will reach a page that says they no longer support the app and that's it. So there's really no reason to. The reason for the low rating is because I've been using this for years and they suddenly stopped. No notice, no warning, no nothing. Even checked my email to see if I missed a note on the subject. Shame. Used to be a great app.

The purpose of Engie is good!! But I would like to say that I bought Engie because I am having troubles with my car and it doesn't start, that's why I bought it but I was disappointed because to use Engie and read some codes it's necessary to have the car working and if it does not work I get I cannot use Engie, so You could improve in that way, just to read the codes in switch mode like the commons scanners

I overpaid for an obd2 device that claimed to have better features. It is the same obd2 device you can buy from China, only it comes with a useless app that regularly sends me to the closest garage to fix my perfectly working alternator. It has been checked 3 times by 3 different chevrolet garages. I paid almost $30 for a $3 product. It also claims my car does 23% less kilometers per liter compared to other cars of same make and model, when actually I do 10% more.

Quite disappointing. My MK7 transit van is miss firing when I first start the engine when cold, after it's warmed up it's fine. I plugged the Engie device in to see what is wrong with it, and it don't show any warning. I think it's an injector but not 100% till I plug it in by a professional, the Engie device is useless.

Trash. It's an overpriced ODB2 chip with an inferior app with an main purpose to be a garage service affiliate. Bought the ODB2 chip from their Facebook post. Their app won't even work with my car. Got another app from gplay that connected and worked. The only reason I bought it from them and not Chinese sites for a fraction of the price was because I though there would be an added value of a chip-app company. Turns out. Turn out I was wrong. Maybe because my car is not common enough to make it worth?

Not bad. I didn't have car problems so far so I can't say if the app is good at detecting problems or not. The app sometimes has problems connecting, so make sure that it works when you drive and make sure your BT is on as well.

Easy car connectivity and use, Alternator data seems unreliable - keeps getting different numbers- maybe it can use an average of a few tests rathar than a single test would prefer if the car test would happen automatically every time I drive (once per drive), so I can feel safe

works well, but the gui is lack of features, and it didn't get all the information from my car (e.g. the car's screen shows that there isn't enough oil, while the app says that everything is good).

Geberally, Engie is very helpful. However, last few weeks it cracked my trust: several times the car indicated 'tires low air pressure', but Engie kept quiet. I guess Engie should have sensed everything the car computer discovers, an I hope that all other indicators are not false...

I've just received a report as to how my car performs. It says it's ok and it wonders how come that I have such a low combustible consumption. It seems that the texts are pre-written and send to everybody without taking into consideration the real numbers. My fuel consumption is 8 km per liter which is very bad. However, the appreciation of your site is, I quote: "We don't know how you're doing it , but it's almost as if you are saving money by driving." I think that you don't take things seriously and I don't really need such a service. Thank you

Very helpful. Whenever the check engine light goes on I can check it with this app and know exactly what to fix. The Trip meter and fuel efficiency meter are both pretty accurate too

Reported by battery as being 11.4 volts and not enough to start car. Turned out to be total rubbish as checked with battery charger and showed full charge of volts. The trip tracker never updated, and when it did mpg was just a stupid figure. Not worth investing in I'm afraid to say

I knew what the application gives so i was not surprised. When my battery was low It gave me a good picture of what is wrong. I also like the data regard Km/L and cost of tour. Have not yet used the list of garages to treat my car.

It works fine on the rgular car. when tried in the hybrid car it all the time desconnected. I like options that you can choose a garage close to you home or work.

It showes only the most basic info about your car status, not all it can show using the interface. Most of what the app dose the is promotions for affiliated services.

Nice application. I would have liked it better had it had a real time overview of the car's data and performance and an accurate gas consumption indication just like most OBD indicators do.

Not reliable. App crashes a lot, does not connect properly and is not even providing info on the car battery.

i am sorry to tell you but it seems that this gadget is not working i am connected to the app and it said that the car is OK without problems, but i have the Transmission red light on and the Transmission computer is not working so how can all be ok in the app seems its a waste of money.

The app is easy to install and work good on my kia Picanto. I'm able to get extra info from the car computer. I wish I would get cheaper offers from the garages though

Great app but can improve with more diagnostic tools for the car (for example didnt detect error code for gear and gear brain on my car).

Hן pretty efficient and reliable app. it analyzed quickly and effectively lights warning on my t oyota yaris dashboard and prompted a solution for the problem i recommend it for every driver who wants to know in advance whats wrong so you don't get overpriced at the mechanics

I'm deeply sorry but it doesn't work on Android 9. You replaced my Engie with a new one. Great service! But it simply doesn't work thiis the only reason for this 1 star.

Great app. very easy to install and use. Very good user experience. I didn't have problems yet so I can't say if it checks the engine good enough. overall, very satisfied so far.

Does not give any data that I do no have available on the car dashboard, but send me ads. Bottom line, I paid for hardware to get commercials

It doesn't work on Android 9 apparently. The app crashes immediately after opening it.

App nailed it big time instantly identifying what I needed to drive to the car shop for a check. Let's see what price offers come up through the app given that the car shop that I went to didn't have the part I needed
