Clean and simple look. No frills so it's fast and neat. Starts off easy and gets progressively more difficult. Best part? You aren't inundated with annoying, long ads. There's enough play time between ads so they aren't annoying and frustrating. Thanks to the developers for taking user experience into consideration. Much appreciated! 👍

Enjoyable game to utilize your mind without being too easy, difficult or frustrating. Plenty of hints available without needing to sink money into it and it gives you the opportunity to learn new words and phrases used around the world. No childish themes or otherwise distracting add-ons. Just a straightforward crossword game. Best app of its kind I've ever played!

I use to love this game, but currently while busy., the game through you out to the home screen which is very frustrating. When I reached puzzle 100 from there I started having problems, it seems that there is a clitch, then I have to start the puzzle form puzzle 86 all over again. I was at 136 and had to start again at 86. I have enough space on my phone. Even if you press to go to ads for free hints, it goes out of the game by itself.

Very good game. Very challenging. Will definitely make you think! The games get progressively harder and longer. The graphics are adjustable, and easy to see. It will save your game so you can pick up wherever you left off. You earn hints by completing words and puzzles. I've had to use hints more frequently as the puzzles get very long and difficult. This will definitely keep your mind and grammar sharp! The ads are not long and not intrusive.

Very absorbing. Some clues are inaccurate, which can irritate, but this means that some answers can be surprising, which stretches the imagination. Also, some answers are repeated many times, which is disappointing. But it continues to entertain and I have completed all of the puzzles twice and am currently on my third pass. I still get stuck on the same difficult ones. I've reset all levels once and reinstalled once to get the latest version.

right now I'm doing the easy levels. it literally has been easy so far, except few bad clues here and there. and there was one level where there was no clue for one of the words, i think around level 59 or something. other than that, this is a good time pass game if you are stuck in remote place without network connectivity. but i play this even when i have network connectivity. would be nice if the "clear level" question popup didn't appear when you opened levels that you've already completed.

Quite possibly the best crossword experience I have found so far. Not exactly a traditional look, but the interface is incredibly easy to use, and very fast if you're short on time. When you get started the puzzles might seem quite simple/easy/elementary, but they gradually build up in size and difficulty as you complete each one. Whoever wrote the crossword clues did an excellent job. The clues are mostly British, but easy to understand no matter what part of the world you're from. Excellent!

Very enjoyable. There's an option of watching an ad after each competed puzzle to gain more stars which, if you finish the puzzle quickly, seems like you're spending most of the time watching 30 second ads. It is worth it though incase you get stuck at some point. Overall gameplay is good. Haven't had any repeated questions as of yet, which is good. Great fun, while using your brain.

I like that it confirms when an answer is correct (or not) using colour, and the ability to get help of a letter or word. Also, the slide in/out clue sets are useful when trying to ascertain (in your mind's eye) what answers need to fit together. Not sure what the categorisation is based on: normal and hard seem the same level to me. One of the "very hard"s used some old-fashioned words as answers.

I am a non native English speaker who is still learning English, but I can still really enjoy the app. It is because the app provides several difficulties to match the English skill level of the player, and all the difficulties were done splendidly balanced. I love how the easy level is designed to not be too easy and is fairly challenging. It's wonderful that the dev put a lot of consideration to make the game be enjoyable for all kind of player. Thank you! This is perfect 4 English learners!

Is what it says in the box. A crossword app with enough puzzles to keep you occupied for a decently long time. The only drawback I have would be that a lot more puzzles can be added regularly. The UI is a solid 4.5/5 as there are still a few noticeable bugs when filling in the letters for a word. For example sometimes when you type a word out, one of the letters just gets replaced by the succeeding letter in that word instead of the next box being filled by that succeeding letter.

A really good app/game. Can be very challenging at times, but it does make you think about your answers. All free, very little way of ads, can be done offline too. ................................................................................ Further edit: AMERICAN spelling! trying to find answers in an ENGLISH dictionary is near damn impossible. Still rate it 5 star, because it's annoyingly good.

Loved it! I have tried many crossword app but this one clearly takes the cake. It's simple to use and the crosswords are arranged according to the levels of difficulties. So if you're new to crosswords, it's a great place to start. PLUS : NO ADS!!!!! PS : I love the cheering crowd sound it makes when you finish a challenge ❤️

For me is the best crosswords app in the store for it's simplicity, clean design and the fact that it is not full of useless functions. The ads are not annoying and for the most part you're the one chosing wether or not to watch them. Also the app keyboard is clean and fits perfectly with the crosswords.

App isn't bad and the UI is very easy and reliable. I would've given it 5* except as one playing the more advanced levels, the clues are getting really vague and increasingly unrelated to the answers.. E.g: 'a type of product (5)".. the answer was not even a type of product. I had to use points & tho I later searched the internet.. I couldn't find it. It feels like you're making somethings up to generate game difficulty.

Good grading of the clues through the levels! Not too many repeated words like other apps. Fewer ads interrupting your play than in other games too. Overall, good fun! I wish there was a way to modify the automatic order through the clues (the game goes through all the clues of Across first), so that instead the computer would progress through words that have letters in common with the last word solved!

Very challenging puzzles, great for exercising the old grey matter. If you're into discovering new words and meanings this game is perfect for you! Lots of puzzles to pass the time away on a rainy day, or fritter away a few minutes on a lunch break, whatever spare time you get you'll be playing this. Love it, thanks to the developers for a great game with unobtrusive adverts that you can choose to watch for hints. 5 stars!

So far so good, but -and this is important- I really don't like the categorisation; would much prefer random difficulty level. Having to choose and be aware of difficulty level really ruins the fun. I'd like an option for "lucky dip"or equivalent. Also want option for the app to open the crossword in progress i.e. to remember its place on shut down.

Fun puzzles that aren't too difficult. If you continue playing you'll have plenty of stars for hints when you need them, but if I run through the clues a few times I can usually solve most of the puzzles on my own so far. The ads are between levels and optional, it's a great app if you enjoy fun free crossword puzzles!

Now that I have completed all levels on one device, I should say that this has been one of the most enjoyable and entertaining crossword puzzles available... Barring a few wrong clues.. A question! Given the amount of time that we (as users) would have spent on watching Ads on this App and the Ad revenue it would have generated, I would think that the developer should consider sharing some of it atleast with the people who complete all levels! 😀😀

Not a bad game overall. However, there are quite a few defining statements that do not match the words accurately and there is a bit of a culture barrier to look past. If you live in the USA and have very little knowledge of European English language differences, you'll probably have some difficulty completing puzzles without using hints.

I like the game, honestly although some of the clues and answers are a bit odd; they're not all words! However it annoys me that it tells you when you've got the word right. Real crosswords don't do that; you find out later when other words won't fit! Five stars if I get a setting to turn off the "correct" indicator.

It's fun but sometimes the hint does not accurately describes the word. I wish the ads could have been shorter but I still waited anyway because of the rewards. Overall, a good game to pass time.

This is a fun game with a limited amount of ads. Also they make it a lot easier than some other crossword games to get your stars so you can get hints on the words you cannot figure out. It's a challenge because when they say English crossword they mean England. Need to be aware of this in order to succeed at the puzzles I look forward to my daily game but I'm not always familiar with the meaning of English words

This is a great crossword puzzle app. The levels start out easy and progress in difficulty. The ads have been optional and at the end of a completed puzzle. I usually opt to see the ad in order to receive double bonus points for clues.

It has some great clues and is not too difficult but still has some challenges. I play it everyday and plan to introduce it as a game to my year four students. Great vocabulary builder for all ages.

Easy to play with no distractions. Has the facility to be able to autofill any puzzling clues, once the rewards have been built up. Just like a crossword in the paper. Option of increasing the difficulty factor. Most enjoyable and habitual daily brain game. Love it.

Best crossword app among others in play store. User interface is simple and free of meaningless animations. I'm giving 4 star because the number of puzzles is small and is increased for a long period of time. I've solved all normal level puzzles and waiting for new ones. Please increase number of available puzzles, we need them).
