Well, the 1st "word of the day was 'jargoon', which is fine, except they paired it with 'jargon' which is a completely different word with a completely different def. Other than that little hiccup the app is pretty straightforward and easy to use. No in-app purchases but, you will have to watch ads.
I would totally recommend this app to everyone. Easy to use, simplistic, dark mode, everything was well thought out and researched. However, sometimes I struggle with a bit of pronunciation for other words and I think it would really be helpful to have that kind of feature.
The "search" function is mostly worthless as it ignores the definition text. Words in definitions can't be clicked, either, which is baffling. But if you, like me, are still looking for a great dictionary app, this modest one might tide you over for now.
This is a great dictionary/thesaurus app! I love how it's offline so I can use it on the go. But It takes a long time to load, like,I look some word up and it takes about 30 seconds to load,so. Definitely not the fastest but is awesome for a offline dictionary.
American & British mixed spellings - would be helpful if clearly one or the other. Examples like checking spelling for formal letters, crossword puzzles, or to resolve disputes in Scrabble games - all rather difficult unless specific English derivative is made clear. Otherwise the search and app programming is good.
Dark mode, definitions and synonyms for phrases/sayings, font selection, fast, super easy to switch between definition and synonym, great search function that understands what you were *trying* to say when you spell it horribly wrong (lol) - just by far the best dictionary & thesaurus out there. I was using Merriam Webster for a while but it felt like using a banking app, it was so bad lol, but it was the best... until I found this app. This rocks! Great app, thanks my dudes π€
One of the best and the most useful applications. Keep updating with more appropriate examples and more information βΉ with speaking options for sentences and phrases. Good luck with warm regards to all the team members of this application 2020 πΉ πΉ πΉ πΉ πΉ
This dictionary gives different spellings of a word but with no explanation why. For instance, it would be helpful to differentiate between American and UK English spelling for words such as colour, theatre and fibre and also to explain which option to use for words which end in, for example, "ise" or "ize." Another example where clarity is needed is where established words have been used in technology (or other sectors) with a spelling variant, such as "programme" and "program.
Could be 5. I find this dictionary app very simple to use and efficient. If you have spare time and feel intelligent the "Random Word" option is really intriguing.
This app is very helpful but it is not much different to other apps. Many apps have both a thesuras and a dictionary; however compared to my past encounters with word apps, this app is exceptional and simple.
Ok describe my experience with this app was the question,?hmm difficult as I didn't experience any thing, ild call that normal.however I can say this app is easy to use gives multiple definitions in all aspects of the words contained within and more loads more actually,I never knew words could have so many definitions, i do now ,if a thesaurus dictionary is what u want, get this1π
This app is great it's got alot of features like random daily words, meanings, themes, fonts and also favourite, history parts to review your past work on it.
Really It is a nice dictionary. It has noun,Adjective,Verb form for each words .Moreover we have speech sound option which can be used even in offline.
I'm reading of Course in Miracles created by circle of atonement and this application is assisting me with big words and I really appreciate all you folks have done for all of us out here who need an online dictionary and thesaurus in our hands... Thank you very much.
I've tried using a few Dictionary Apps, which give information that's easy to understand, but there is a lot more detailed and clearly readable information!!!
A smart looking Dictionary/Thesaurus with lots of extra features including off line use and audio pronunciation. Excellent.
Great! A complete game changer, and being able to use it when offline is very helpful indeed.
I only use it when I need to if I'm not sure what the word means then I need to use it. It helps me understand what the word is about. I study English at college so it helps me if I need I also use it at home because I play a game on TV called text twist it is like Scrabble it comes in handy for people who needs it.
Needs more settings and larger library. Example-Meaning of word "Underscore's" in a sentence, is not just a line to emphasize....
So far, it works prety fast, has good features, & can work offline, BUT lacks modern definitions & synonyms.
This app has helped me with my writing and expanded my vocabulary! As of now, this is the best free offline dictionary/thesaurus app to use, thanks to the developer who made this :)
Very useful. Specially when I know the word but am unsure of the exact spelling
Okay to use nature ways in knowing in future in better in use it. In happens last in glad. And short touch in less a half hour. In well dictionary with skills.
After looking at 10+ Dictionary/Thesaurus apps this was the easiest & most complete OFFLINE dictionary. Highly Recommend!
For me, English Dictionary and Thesaurus offline helps me a lot more to understand what i don't know around the corridor. This is next to my Holy Bible. God bless you dear Author and your entire family.
Extremely comprehensive and detailed, meant for the learner and the erudite.
Nice app it has positive comments and it also have thesarus mode it is also helpful and it has examples sentences to understand the word more clearly
Completely lost without this excellent app. I use it on a daily basis, actually better than a standard dictionary; as you get pronunciations of words, that reading doesn't provide. So also assists with phonetics whilst increasing vocabulary. I try to learn a new word daily. You can impress friends, colleagues and family. As long as you don't over intellectualise conversations. ππ―%+
