English Epoch Times

To me there is no better source of reality than the Epoch Times. I have had a subscription to them for over three years now. Both in physical paper form and digital. I much prefer the digital, therefore the app, form. It's also really good to read in a web browser as a full screen. I just highly recommend Epoch Times as your source for news.

I can't read any articles. There is always a pop-up freezing the article and asking me to create an account. The terms say this is optional, but in practice an account is mandatory. As I prefer random ads over being tracked and targeted I'm uninstalling. There is a plethora of other services where an account is not needed, as well as the good ol' web.

Other than the occasional newspaper, yeah....I'm a dinosaur, I've never paid for news. Over the past few years, as my distrust in Main Stream Media grew, I looked more closely at what was considered "Fridge" news outlets. The Epoch Times caught my eye and I read everything that was available free to me. As that availability shrank (in an effort to get me to subscribe) I found myself copying it's headlines and doing Google searches. Eventually, I subscribed. HUGE! LOVE IT! Best move I've made!

I have a paid subscription for the last two years. It's been great until recently now I get ads block me from reading the article. Trying to click out of the ad is time consuming and usually kicks me out of my article. I love epoch times but having a paid subscription and having to deal with the ads isn't sitting well at all. I hope this gets fixed asap.

2nd only to OANN, I LOVE Epoch Times! I never have any issues with the app, love the live streaming news, Trump and other rallies, and the fact that I get real, trustworthy, unbiased news quickly. Epoch Times often alerts me to news stories before other news networks, and covers stories that others won't. The annual paid subscription is definitely worth it if you like to stay informed on US and world news, and the opinion, lifestyle and other features are nice added bonuses.

This is the fourth repost and rewording to hopefully get around the censorbots. Don't believe the 4.7 stars, anything negative about reliability will get deleted! This app has a very clear and strong right bias through story selection and loaded wording as well as some false information. I would not use again, and neither should you.

Best all-around news source out there these days! Honest, accurate, timely and fearless. Digital, print, video are all excellent in a time the people languish for lack of objective news.

I have read some of the other reviews, and I too am experiencing interference with ads. When I try to click out of the ads I am kicked out of what I am reading. Is there interference from the other side that does not want us to see another perspective? Please fix this. I had enjoyed Epoch, but am frustrated by this.

The best news app on Android and possibly the best news website on the internet. Real unbiased news the way it should be. For those of us who don't play the "right VS left" or "red VS blue" game; we can read real news without the political tilt jobs of other networks like CNN, MSNBC, FOX and the other usual 3 letter networks... It's almost amazing how well they cover such a variety of topics in so many Industries at the same time. Definitely worth the subscription price especially with epochTV.

For some reason, enen though subscribed I can not read more than one epoch times article without being blocked and asked to subscribe (again). When I push the log in button nothing happens. I am probably doing something wrong. I find reading the Epoch times and viewing Epoch TV on my laptop enlightening &vital in understanding what is going on in the country and why

I won't do a trial just to verify the value of this app. Trials are always impossible to get out of so I guess I'll just uninstall. Too frustrated not being able to read anything. I don't have to pay for other news. I've read enough reviews about your annoying pop up ads. If you run these annoying ads then why charge readers at all?

Changed phone and can no longer access subscription, I contacted ET several times with promises it would be fixed, 2 months later no resolution. I finally cancelled my subscription and told them why, still no email or communication. Extremely frustrating, would really like to support them but I gotta be able to read the articles

A "Crashing" experience of ongoing proportions! This has been going on all day. I can't figure out the cause. I even deleted then reinstalled it. Reinstalling the app. did nothing to prevent crashes. Disappointed because The Epoch Times has excellent content and analysis overall. Pity the application has become unstable. DBS

Love the Epoch Times. Google tried to keep me from subscribing by not accepting payment even though there is no issue with my card and I have been paying for service for over a year. I called Google and they said it was my card... so I called my credit card company and they told me there were no declined payments. You can subscribe directly with Epoch Times and still use the app which is what I recommend.

Enjoy the app, also enjoy the newspaper but the app keeps popping up saying that it has stopped. I'm working on it but it's been happening for a while, pops up a good bit.

Epoch Times provides truth and clarity with regard to worldly events. There are no commercials, so you know you're getting unbiased news and exceptional investigative reporting. There's also Epoch TV where you can find engaging interviews. Totally subscriber supported. It also provides great sections on Art, Culture, Life, Business, Science and more. Not bad for just $4.99/month. Cut through the hyperbole! Get the truth, you'll feel better about yourself.

SOOO happy I decided to purchase a subscription. There seem to be so few news outlets to turn to for news on everything. As far as I can tell, it seems impartial and covers many topics I NEVER hear about through any other channel.

This could be a great app with an abundance of information, if you were able to read it. Every few seconds an advertisement will appear preventing you from reading articles or watching videos. When you attempt to hide the advertisement it kicks you out of the article your reading. Terrible waste of time and space, it's an advertisement trap.

I've been a paid Subscriber for about a year now. I never ran into problems other than one time they were said to have been DDos'd by IP addresses leading back to China. But it was back up and running within the hour. There's an information war going on right now. I chose Epoch Times because they have a good research team and dig deeper into things that other media curiously say nothing substantial towards.

The Epoch Times is very factual and full of relevant information. The app is slam full of resources. This news organization is different from others in that they acknowledge and tell you about their bias. I know the Epoch Times does not like the communist government system like in China or North Korea, because they said it first thing. Since they address it, they also give evidence to why, and it doesn't affect the information you receive as much. Bias cannot be completely eliminated.

Used to be the only source i went to for news but now everytime i open it it just blocks all use unless i pay. I literally cant do anything at all not even read 1 news story a day. I get they need money but to have like zero function to the app unless you pay for it? Make it cost money on playstore right off the bat would be the better option in my opinion than making it a free app that just wastes space on your device unless you decide to pay for it. Might uninstall

There are still a few news sources that report actual facts when there are supposed to be facts and opinions when there are supposed to be opinions and actually tell you the difference. Legacy Media is TRASH. I really appreciate the Epoch Times. I have hope for the future as they grow in popularity and scale. Thanks Epoch Times!

Videos start playing automatically and I can't see any way to turn it off. I uninstalled the app because of this. The developers say they added a way to turn this off so I reinstalled it. The first notification I opened played a video commercial at full volume. I see no way to turn off autoplay anywhere. Uninstalling again

I am very happy that they have an app however my disappointment is that everytime I attempt to open an article in the app the app ALWAYS opens to a totally unrelated article and I have to search for the article and it does not always open or display although the article came to my attention in an email or link. If I attempt to login it will open but I have to login EVERYTIME. I don't understand why it doesn't remember me.

Useless! Won't get past account creation. Keeps looping back to create an account. I probably have three separate accounts now due to trying to create account. Not impressed.

The app has been stopping. When I click on the app icon it opens and closes very quickly. I uninstalled and installed, checked all settings etc. Help! I am an inscribed.

This is the REAL deal. It's reporting from an honest perspective, there's no contrived bs from The Epoch Times. It serves as an additional supplement to Real America's Voice, OAN and Blaze. I need to receive their newspaper again, I miss the extensive coverage it offers!

What I like most is the layout of stories, simplicity of taking many stories and placing them into a neat configuration that is easy to navigate. What prompted me most to subscribe to ET was their ability to give up to date reporting without overwhelming bias; a straight-ish delivery of information that allows the reader to compare and contrast on their own alongside other relevant information. I absolutely recommend ET to independents who want more than tilted editorials.

Excellent content and some of the best articles I've read in years! I have come to depend on this app for daily reliable news and discussion of current events.
