English Guess The Phrase

It's a good game, but it could use harder levels. Maybe add some categories like quotes, animal facts, sports facts, or some random (but true) facts about anything. I've been through all of them a few times already & if there isn't anything new soon, it'll be time to delete this app. PLEASE add something to it, or at least let people know that it doesn't take long to get through this. That's why it's only 4 stars.

I like how the Phrase that you're guessing has a meaning that you can use to help you guess the phrase, I like how you can choose the difficulty (easy, medium, and hard). Gets a little boring after a while but other than that its a pretty decent game.

Like Wheel of Fortune, but uses only proverbs and idioms and none of the stupid frills. Just work it out, move on. Explains the meaning of everything. Which is good, but rarely necessary. Giving it 5 b.c. I have been playing for a while with no issues. Still playing after more than a year, which is good for me. Have ditched WOF, too much rubbish add ons, for no benefit to me.

Anyone who's wanting to brush up on some ancient English Idioms, this app is perfect. It has a nice vintage feel to it and the sound effects are cool too. Really helps learn a lot of slang as well

The game is really nice, esp to help perfecting the English language. But major flaw is that after solving about 600+ idioms, it is repeating the same old questions. This is making the game a little dull. Plz add more idioms, there are thousands of them in regular use across the world.

Even though I was born in and always lived in, the States, and am aware of our idioms, this game is difficult at times. It reminds me of Wheel of Fortune, except we don't get to spin the wheel. LOL. This game is fun, though. It works, has a nice layout, and uses little MB.

Overall the game is okay, just, the spelling is atrocious, the grammar is awful, and I don't don't know where they got these phrases. Most of the phrases aren't even worded correctly. It's a good attempt, but needs work.

I am happy to have found this app. I am reminded of some forgotten idioms I used way back, favorite proverbs of my dear departed parents, all in a fun puzzle solving format! What better way to improve one's way of communicating. Thanks to the creators of this app.

I think this is mind stimulating. When you are an elderly person, it helps to have things to help you remember things. So yes, I think it is educational. I am almost 70 years old and have a perfect score, ..... so far. lol

I've always enjoyed this game but the star rating has for me, gone right down. What numpty decided to to put a green flashing sign to let you know we had won the game. Duh we could work that out for ourselves. It's so dammed annoying!!!!

This game is super fun! It gives you life lessons, helps you with your vocabulary, etc! I highly recommend downloading this app if you want to increase your vocabulary and need more life lessons!

it is a very weird game with no hints for beginner to how to play...I tried solving it but it is really very complex even in the *easy* category... uninstalling it right away.

Being a pensioner, I remember loads of phrases used by family and friends, so really loved this game. There were a few I hadn't heard of, but knew most of them, was really sorry when I got to the end. Fabulous, highly recommended.

Very enjoying and educative. Relaxing when you are tired. I would like the developer to give searchable reference to the proverbs / idioms so that one can search later.

Addictive game,but very enjoyable. My thoughts are that it can widen spelling ability and general knowledge of the English language.

I really like this game, simple premise, lots of fun. I would like an option to go back to solved ones, though.

Fun to play for all. Three levels of difficulty. Gives good clues. Easy to navigate

It would be better is it starts with the idiom then you guese the meaning. That way, learning would be much faster and fan. I dont have the time to start typing out the meaning.

This is ridiculous, 2× I was trying to solve a proverb when I was interrupted with a message "problem not solved" I know that, I wasn't finished. How stupid can a game be to interrupt me while I'm trying to solve a problem to inform me, problem not solved. Uninstalling

Bad translations of English proverbs and idioms. These are not correct. The developer needs a native English speaker to check the phrases and meanings.

Challenging & amusing with time well spent & enjoyed. I said all this to see if i would get the the App started, but in vain; i'll have to uninstall & look for another.

it's quick, fairly easy, causes thought and stemulates memory. I play it with my 10 year old grandson and my 95 year old father.

I love this game. To me it brings back memories of my mom and all the phrases she use to say to me. Some i have forgotten. Some i still use these days. I love the fact that is like a hangman style as well.

very frustating if you are interruptded after three moves and told to give up. not educational at all. shall now uninstall and look for a better game.😝

Liked it for few days then it started freezing up. Had to keep starting over. Going to uninstall.

It's pretty fun remembering old sayings. most of all, i like not having to wait for a friend to keep playing. That is a huge advantage.

I am addicted. I enjoy playing this on long train journeys and during my spare time. Very relaxing plus it's free.

It is a good innovation. However, I do not know the idiom you suggested. I am only familiar with 'he who laughs last laughs longest.' Once again, thanks for this instructive innovation.
