This app is fantastic for reference for people who have some experience with hieroglyphs, quite easy to use. Would be nice to have something like a start screen the first time you open to explain what the buttons do but it was very easy to work out once I had a look around the app. Great job, this must have taken so much work to put together!
It's a bit difficult, at first, to figure out how to use this app effectively, which is the only reason it doesn't get 5 stars. Honestly, it is amazing. The hieroglyphs are very well drawn, instantly recognizable. There are basic pronunciations with the definitions, as well as the Gardiner codes for the glyphs. Entire phrases can be researched for meaning, clarity and accuracy. Other members of my Kemetic Temple also use this app, and I recommend it for anyone serious about the language.
This app is so majestic! I absolutely love it. This is the app ive been waiting for. Very detailed. This app gave me a feeling of awe, as I began to explore it, i could see a very advanced civilization, that was using a deeper language that was more than a voice, it was a frequency. Great Job. Great app, well designed and very helpful for learning Middle Egyptian. One request would be that words in the dictionary could be added straight to the 'User' set rather than having to add entries manually. This would be great for building personal vocabulary lists.
Nice guide with complete Gardiner's list with full details as well as phonogram list with details. Amazing dictionary for those who are seriously interested to learn hieroglyphs. A perfect guide to be used with Gardiner's book or any other textbook as well as a great stand alone dictionary with all required particulars. Includes translation, transliteration & grammar type for all glyphs. 100 times better than any other similar app available, without any doubt!👍🏻
AMAZING. This app partners INCREDIBLY well also with the Hieroglyph Flash Card app this same app designer also has on here. Learning Hieroglyphs, their sounds and meanings could not be easier if you're keen minded with this app. Amazing work to the builders and designers. In all honesty, I'm amazed it's free.
everything's perfect !!!!!...but im giving it 4 stars bcz it lacks audio translations .... it makes little difficult for begginers to speak the heiroglyphics ... Can you add this little feature?.....rest all's really good ♡♡♡
Took me awhile to get familiar with it. Now I love it. !!! Has color pictures, transliteration letters,etc. Excellent for learning.
Wow, one of the coolest most interesting apps I've ever used! Now I just need to channel my inner Indiana Jones and find some artifacts to decipher and escape the tomb before the booby traps get me.

I speak Coptic and know hieroglyphics and this app is completely inaccurate and poorly organized I do not recommend this at all.
It is the exact same as gardiner's list. Only download if you want 2 of the same app.

The Arabic version of the app is under construction. You can download an experimental version by going to the link of the developer web site at the bottom of this page and from there go to the very end and click Arabic Dictionary Alpha version, next to it is my name as a translator, but you need to know how to install an app outside google play from unknown sources. Search YouTube for help.

This app is a must have for anyone doing middle egyptian hieroglyphics. It is much faster than using a hard copy of Gardiner's or Faulkiner"s dictionary and the layout and settings are very easy to use. When I am translating a text or inscription, this makes it so much easier and faster. Amazing value for money and a great tool for translating texts and inscriptions. It is very easy to use too.
