It gives the real and typical meaning of English word in Hindi or sometimes in Sanskrit. But the mobile version does not have the English definition which is easily available in web version. One more fact is that it has to include more words and phrases too with examples. All other features are very good. What has happened these days to this app? We could not find meaning of words offline.

The games are good though there need to be short time period for the same. And testing one knowledge the difficulty level should be decided. The ads make the app little bit laggy.

A boon for anyone who is learning a new language. I am yet to find a word for which Shabdkosh does not have a translation. I use Shabkosh for English-Kannada translation and vice versa Amazing tool with fast UI responsiveness.I highly recommend the subscribtion for the Premium Account. It is very reasonably priced for the amount of value it is giving. For every English word, the corresponding Kannada translation is given as a verb, noun and adjective, if appropriate. this dictionary is good. Bt i am facing some issues, like sometimes it will not search the meaning, due to which i have to use google. And i also want to request the officials or technician team to add some more words because in past i have searched many words but it failed to show me the meaning, and then again i have fo use google. This dictionary is good but please look into my problems and solve it as soon as u can.

This is very good and easy app for finding the meanings of the word. It shows more than two meanings of a word.

This dictionary app is not opening .. I dont know what is the problem .. Previously the app save my searched words and now all the words gone in vain .. Plz rectify this problem asap .. thanks

It stucks in the middle & stops working. I need to close and open it again, that's terribly frustrating. Kindly fix it.

Works well, has a very large number of words, but it lags behind its web-based cousin in detecting root words from declined forms. That is forgivable. Unforgivable is that even in offline mode, you sometimes have to search 2 or 3 times for the same word, cancelling a search request each time before the dictionary returns the entry. That is unforgivsble, so it loses a star. Otherwise, it is an app I use frequently, every day.

It's been few days I have started using this app. It's been awesome experience. In most of the scenarios, I don't have to turn out the pages of Oxford dictionary coz I easily find out the meaning here with the right pronunciation. I will recommend this app for all those beginners who want to enhance their communication skills and would like to bring a change in their life.

Simple and useful. Dictionary, Games, Translations, Vocabulary List, Daily Quotations everything is just awesome. Loving it. Of course, you have to be careful to choose an appropriate meaning out of the given lot but it's rather helpful to have so many possible meanings given in one place.

Oh my god ! It is a wonderful app to improve your vocabulary . I am a student and I needed an app for improve my understanding power of English words and as well as with its meaning in hindi also .This helps me so much . The daily quotes and daily words are also amazing . It also provides us the synonyms words which are very helpful.

Everything was okay until the second last update. I loved that feature, which translated the copied word on clipboard automatically without opening the app. That was the best thing about this app, I didn't need to open the app again and again to search words. But that feature has gone in this new version. Please bring that back!!

Previously it was good but after the update it is not as good as it was. If you have downloaded the offline pack It shows no result while your data is on. For that you need to turn off your data. It has been slower than earlier. It takes too much time for showing the results what you have typed.

Dictionary is good to learn but after recent update the app doesn't seems upto the mark, not able to exit, older look was cool, no dark mode. Its annoying sometimes. Update: thank you so much team dev for addressing the issues now its good i like it. changed the ratings and updated the review, thankx again. Keep improving.

The most useful app in this category. Almost all words, phrases etc. are in it. Works offline too. Only issue is that every time you search a new word you have to first delete (clear) the previous word. I wish the developer can make it like Wordweb.

I like the app before the update. It WAS very accessible anytime i need it. I was already using this app for almost 2 years already. BUT, after the update, it became useless🙄 before, i can open it even offline. Now, every time i open it, it says "NEEDS INTERNET CONNECTION ON FIRST USE". What is this?? Bring back how the app was before. I tried to uninstall, reinstall and redownload the offline dictionary, but still, no good news😒 still says the same thing every time i open it.

Very good app. It will be accurate, if the translations into English will be checked and improved by the one who is proficiant in Emglish and Hindi. There should be example sentences for each words. Only then the dictionary will be meaningful and effective.

I have tried many apps related to vocabulary but this is the best one. It has online as well as offline dictionary option. And some recent updates really impressed me as well. I'll not tell the details . You should check that by yourself.

Good dictionary but there is no option to copy the meaning of the word which is really disappointing. I'll better prefer the website version over this app. At least you can copy the words from there. If developer fix this issue I'll not only rate the 5 stars but also buy the premium subscription.

I was searching a dictionery which can help me out in pronounciation as well as in searching words. Finally got the same, its amazing and indian made too 💕, it has somelimitation but suitable as of now. I will recommend all of you reading my comment right now, go for it guys. You may seen some adds there but same doesnt appears prequently. I was using google translator earlier to improve mah vocabulary but same was not useful, i think its enough for now. 😊

Very good App for quick access, English to Hindi and vice versa as well containing different meanings. Quotes now a days are some hard and critical to understand, so we can not send to our friends as well on Status. Needs review. However full star 🌟👍
