I find the videos very helpful ...they break it down to the point of where you know how to posting your tongue in order to produce the correct sound. I really like the app. I will be getting the premium version soon. I recomend ππ
This is really a great application. The practice recorder shows exactly what I pronounced. It helps me understand, how bad I have been pronouncing the word in my whole life. Hopefully, if I keep practice, I will get it one day.
It uses google text to speech which always is way off from what you speak. If you think my pronunciation is incorrect I have another pronunciation checking app that catches it perfectly. In this I say FAR and it hears PAAR, FAST and what not.
Hey guys! when i get into any learning lesson, the video never gets downloaded. there's a circle keep revolving and eventually says video can't play video. i want to use your app bcz i love it. pls reply asap and help me to fix it anyway. im still giving 5star..

I was curious about this app. I installed it and did the first lessons. It could be good but the content is totally wrong. The pronunciation is not good and it leads to confusion for those who are trying to learn.
It's quite nice but I've problem in the practice session, if they said pronounce something like a compound noun, eg scapegoat that is joined together and you pronounce it, the voice of the Google recognizer tends to always make it separate eg instead of scapegoat it writes scape goat and it marks me down but i love it. I'm really learning how to pronounce words more better.
She describes thing really well but they're wrong. English is not pronounced this way and she gets some words so wrong, I think that she must be someone who is faking an American accent. Some things are also impossible. How can I say j (y) while touching my tongue to the roof of my mouth and the sides of my teeth? It doesn't make that sound, I can assure you of that.
Can someone confirm that the Google voice features are broken right now? It says my google app isn't fully updated, so I followed the link to the play store. It appears I'm on the current update.
This is a great app. Use this app to enhance your pronunciation. Very clear and easy to follow with a lot of exercises.
Guys a suggestion...... Maybe in the video section, first show us how to pronounce, followed by the example, the other way around isn't comfortable.....

Frankly, speaking I didn't know much about phonetics but the app i must say, has opened my eyes and understanding of how to pronounce words property

Too Many ads make this Application Rubbish and Wrong pronunciation for most of the words..
I suggest this .it is very useful especiallly in this lockdown Days as it is really a qualilty use of ur tym. ....learn something new.
