English with Lingualeo

I use this app at least for 6 years already and I do not need it anymore so much as I used to, since do not learn English, but anyway I keep the app on my phone to add rare or complicated words from books to my vocabulary. I liked the feature to pay a fraction of the full price for old users. But it's already unavailable.

I like this app! But I would like to offer an enhancement. Any shift to another app or on upcoming call close current training. I suppouse, you can make the pause for current training during interruption and possibility to continue after.

I like to read books in this application, but there are few upgrates I'd like to see during reading: transkription of words, an opportunity to chose several words for transkription(with 2 fingers) and ofcourse sound of the word. Thanks.

previously free training content now is only for paid off; very limited vocabulary capacity even of your own efforts to build it up (most resented thing); story books contains a lot of symbols artifacts; infinite 'profitable premium plans' pop up

All free features became for paid. I didn't enter this app for a long time. And now I even can't to use brainstorm and other usual vocabulary trainings!

Hello. Do you know the Duolingo app? If you don't know, take a look. In general, your application is not bad, but to learn English, you will have to pay, and in Duolingo – you do not have to pay. The paid version is only without ads and there are endless lives. And here is a paid version to learn a foreign language. I understand that you need money to get paid, but you'd better insert an advertisement (if there isn't one) than beg for money for a person to learn. That's why I choose Duolingo.

Now I even cannot read any books, there for some time, because they cannot be opened. None of the last updates fixed it. So it is useless for me.

This app is the best among other apps but there aren't enough free trainings. That is why i appreciate it in four stars.

I paid for premium, but got only error! The support did not answer me. It is the scam application

Nice app but you didn't have premium you can only read story, songs..... But no brainstorm, cards..... I am sad only for this but app's good

Why is in the training "Leo-sprint" I've got only few words to train? It used to be more variety before your updating

When I'm tapping to word in a video it stops but never start running again after. It's annoying. But everything else is fine.

Cannot to add word in a custom way, for example, I want to add verbs with "to" in the beginning ("to chill" - instead of this I get just "chill" in my set, but, of course, in a search field i'm typing "to chill") . In general, work with word sets is not comfortable, for example, I can't just remove word from set. To delete word I have to push "+" button, type needed word, choose same translate and push "add" button. It's not very user friendly.

I've looked through the German pack and unfortunately it's pretty raw. Articles are very important in German and it seems like user dictionary is not able to pick them up from translators. Default word sets also contain a lot of mistakes of this kind, trainings display nouns in lowercase etc. But in my opinion, the biggest bug/inconvenience is that on mobile in jungle mode only one translation is shown. It was not that way, who thought that it would be a great idea?

The listening activity "put the words together" is buggy. Sometimes it doesn't give the prompt after Iistening to the sentence, and other times - the audio from the previous section plays which does not correspond to the words you have to put together. Reading activity "restore the text" doesn't load.

The free app contains lovely content to learn English, yet the free version is constantly shallowed by the premium one, so now it doesn't value more than 3 stars. Also, the premium version cost 18.60$, just two weeks ago and now it costs 62$. It is about 3.5 times more expensive. Moreover, if we take into account that this price is not for all the features at the site, it is too expensive, please get back to an affordable price.

how do i add a phrase from a text to my vocabulary? i can tap on "well" or" balanced" and learn these individual words separately, but on desktop version of lingualeo I used to add the phrase "well-balanced diet" which is different. there are only 3 translation options and none of them fit (the dish is filling - translations: to fill out, to fill in, filling in.) :(

It has become very laggy since the last "great" update, which made it very inconvenient to use the app since then. You can't just add the new word, without watching that circle rolling and rolling, and you have to re-enter the app to be able to add that word. Devs, could you please make a bugfix work?

Actually, I hate this app!!! I'm listening a music in headphones on my phone, and reading a text, and if I tap on the word the app immediately stopping the music and pronouncing the word! I tried to torn off it, but nothing doesn't work!! Thank you guys for this, I just waste a money on it! In previous version all was good!

I've been using Lingualeo for YEARS and I absolutely LOVE IT. it is the best tool out there, with so much content. I built my own dictionary with the words that I've been finding along the way, more than a thousand words. They offer you a variety of "games" to practice the words you want to learn - my vocabulary increased so much. There is so much to say... but please take a look for yourself, really explore the platform, you'll never find yourself bored using Lingualeo.

So far as getting my vocabulary up, it does it's job well. I usually use it for dictionary training, however the new features they've been adding, courses for focused learning depending on your actual needs, are stellar. Don't now a better app for English learning.

1. The app is too uncomfortable to translate text by integrated translator: you can translate only one word! How to translate a phrase when single words have other meaning? 2. User interface for a black theme looks incorrectly: the Leo dialog cloud is unreadable ( text and background have similar colors ), sometimes the text from posts is unreadable and looks as white bands on the black background. I have read posts from "jungle"->"a business joke”. I use miui 12. I will use browser version.

After the recent update I cannot log in with my credentials, so I've lost all my data and progress? Edit: needed to completely delete the app, its data and clean reistall to make it functional again. Considering periodically problematic updates otherwise it's a pretty good app.

This is the best mobile application for learning the language without the need to pay to real tutors. I can learn the language in a funny and easy way. The whole learning process is presented in the form of some game that allows to practice all language skills. Thank you for this great app, dear developers and Lingualeo team!

Laggy app. After update it started to mark new words as learned after 1 repetition, on main page it shows same 5 texts to learn in circle. Feedback service does not help with those problems. Application became useless for me because of those bugs, I payed for year, but was able to use it for 7 months only.
