The app is easy to use. However, it is clearly not designed for learning. For exa.ple, when I answer a knowledge check, I receive no feedback beyond Correct/Incorrect. Same with the test: I failed the test, but I don't know: 1) my score, and 2) which questions I got wrong. Gamification gone wrong. Or maybe the paid version is more geared towards learning?

It's broken now... When I open the app, an error appears twice at the top, saying "Sorry, something unexpected happened, please try again." The skill trees are completely broken. Each one either shows 0, 1 or 2 workouts at a time...the rest have disappeared. And the "Report a problem" section doesn't even load. I was going to purchase the yearly subscription today, but what on Earth happened? Edit: It works now, & it seemed like some kind of server error. But I'm a bit afraid it'll happen again.

I'd say this app is worth a 5 star but the "read-only" mode isn't going to actually help us learn the coding languages it offers. It can be used along side learning the language on a different app that can let type the code. Seeing what's included in the "Learn-mode" (Paid) We can answer questions based on what's being taught and actually make a program yourself on the app. It would be extremely beneficial if at least the quizzes were available in the "Read-only" mode. It is a good app still 🙂

This is one of the best learning apps I have found. Content is superb. Grammer, content, quality completeness is top notch. The 'free to read' is complete. Based on the amount of work required to do this right they deserve a modest fee for the premium features. Being a long time developer and content creator I fully understand the effort required. Being able to go from beginner to deep dive allows me to 'catch up' and fill in gaps of my knowledge.

The new subscription fee kinda took away from the learning experience. Interacting with the quizzes and checking my answers was how I knew I was retaining the information given. Unfortunately that is now blocked off so I can answer the question, but I won't know if I'm correct unless I pay money. I can understand offering a few premium features, but now the basic features of the app are now premium.

It was really good at first. I had planned to learn Go and review Python. My hopes should have never been high. Like all other coding apps, everything is blocked behind a paywall. You have got to be kidding me! You are not going to attracting any users with an app like this! Here's my recommendation: make learn-mode and code playground free, and make only a few features "Premium". This will make me reinstall the app. I understand you need money, but don't do this!

It's amazing how effective the learning can be when it is strategies like this. It's all about knowledge+practice. You become an expert about the lesson right at the end of the lesson.

It's all great, I feel motivated to keep learning code and other stuff. It's awesome to have access to skills with such potential at your own pace.

This app is so terrible. I want to be able to see what i would learn if i pay. What the learning method like. How in-depth the course will gradually get. Etc. This app had me stuck at the start because of how poorly it is designed.

This is a brilliant app for learning digital skills. It is both user friendly and also time friendly. So am giving it a 5-star.

Really great content and helpful as in 60 seconds we can learn something new.But if there would be any student related something so that I get that learner mode it would be great.

Pretty great but I think 8 bucks a month might be a little much. Would rather pay 100 to unlock lifetime or something. Very good classes and material though.

I am a beginner in this awesome world of data science and coding, this app has made my learning process a lot more enjoyable. Kudos

Best app to learn programming language, it takes you from basic to advance level in a very smooth way

The course easy to understand but the coding exercise is not working, you have to activate it in your company there

This app is incredible. With explicit learning systems and resources put in place.

With a recent update everything looks great, is very smooth, and the content has also grown. If you're wanting to get you feet wet as a beginner, stay up to date and your mind sharp as an intermdiate, or gradually explore a new language / discipline you expect to be necessary soon, then this is an excellent way to do it. Don't hesitate, just jump in!

I've only just stated using the app, so far it seems good for a variety of levels, it's easy to navigate and understand, looks like a good amount of content to get you up to speed. As an IT Professional keeping up to date on what matters to me and my job can sometimes be difficult with life, but having reminders to keep you on task is useful. Ask me in a month!

This is a great app. Especially for people just starting out with coding. They give you some really useful information and its nice to do a small test everyday to drill these concepts into your head. The only downside is that it is a little buggy at time, for instance when playing a mini game and you have to choose between true or false for a line of code, things that i know are false would sometimes be true and vise versa but besides that its a great app and i would highly recommend it!

This app has been amazing, especially compared to the other "free" apps that teach coding. The content is ready to understand, progresses nicely, and provides examples and problems that make sense. Nice looking and intuitive user interface. Completely free, including ad free. Plus there are a TON of courses. I've only scratched the surface but I look forward to learning more!

A good app, but it does have some problems. I'll highlight a problem I've come across, and a feature I disagree with. First, the problem: Occasionally, a lesson will be completed before you actually do anything in the specific lesson. Because of how you don't get another exercise of the same type until the next day, you lose out on some learning you could have done. Another gripe I have is how review lessons count as lessons and thus block you from learning any new information for that day.

Decent app for developing programmers. It's not a full-stack course, obviously, but it does keep your mind in close contact with the material. Makes sure you get random-yet-potentially-useful tidbits of information regularly. Not hard to navigate, intuitive, and gorgeous design. Altogether a decent app to keep yourself engaged and knowledgeable.

I have only used the free version of this (it gives you one lesson in each area) but will not be continuing to use it. Ironically for a programming app several of the exercises had bugs, the talk pages were full of people reporting these bugs from several months ago but they had not been fixed despite being pretty straightforward. That they have basic bugs and are obviously not looking at the feedback and fixing them makes me very skeptical of the quality of the full version of the app.

Great app! Clean interface, bite-sized lessons and lots of options. They even cover many things in the beginning lessons that other courses have failed to mention after completing their entire course. Haven't bought the pro subscription yet, but it's certainly more affordable than some of the other options I've seen. So far Enki is a great addition to learning code!

UX Design is very well made. The problem is that everytjing looks good and seems good until you actually try it out. No matter which topic you choose, the app will always give you random information about it, mostly copied from publicly available sources. That doesn't help that much when learning something related to software development. It's either way too easy (that's how I experienced the app) or too hard to understand when only copying an explanation from the Internet. Not enough space here
