This is really a great application however I needed very real-time alerts even when my phone is not active, and it seems this is impossible because the app uses a background service. If you don't need absolutely real-time alerts this app is probably the best in terms of features and flexibility.
only the free lite version is available from the app store, so you have to use and install it first and from within it upgrade to the commercial version - - not good. Secondly the latest version of the pro option contains a bug which prevents it from integrating with gmail. at least on galaxy note 9. update - contacted the developer by email - has done nothing about issue excep asking me to "describe the issue" which is already done here ...total waste of my time
There used to be a pay version, but it seems to have been removed from the play store. And my installed and paid for version no longer works. I get an "app too old" message when I click on my accout in settings. updating from 3 to 5 stars after getting a prompt reply from support.
When trying to set up my Gmail account it worked the first time. Then I got an email from Google notifying about a dangerous app and then blocked it. Now I get the "Authentication Failed" error and it no longer works. It looks interesting and I really need an app like that, so it'd be good to know if there's any solution for this.
Followed all instructions, I'm synced up with my gmail account and have set up various alerts, however, no matter what I do the app never actually initiates an alert. I created an alert for when I send myself an email and still no alert is ever triggered by eNotify. I've spent an hour on this buggy app with zero results. Using it on Samsung Note 9.
Will not connect to any of my emails. Claiming authentication/connection issue when my user and password are 100% correct. No instructions on how to overcome this issue. Was planning on implementing this app company wide, very big headache now.
By far the best email notification app out there. I have been using this for a few years and have never had any problems. If you have a old yahoo email address you will need to generate a personal password for this to continue to work. I learned the hard way and missed a important email. Other than that I highly recommend this app!!!
Unable to override silent. This is missing what I'm looking for. A real alert app should Always emit the sound... otherwise what's the point of installing a dedicated Alert App ? Edit: following the developer's answer I raised my rate for good communication. But I didn't check if override is actually working now.
I have found this a most useful app since installing it 2 years ago. It has worked exactly as required. A recent update to Google meant it became unusable until I followed another reviewer's advice and set up 2-step verification for my Google account, then requested a password from Google for eNotify to access my Gmail. So far it has been working perfectly again. It is quite simple to do .. see eNotify FAQ section under "Cannot login to GMail" Thanks for great app, developer!
Perfect app for me. Please let me know how I can remove the red exclamation notification icon from my notification status. I know is there to let you know the app is on but I'd like to remove it, I dont like cluster in my notification bar. Do I need to purchase the Pro version ? Thank you
The 'Alerts Enable' on/off button has a malfunction. It doesn't change what you want. It only change when you logoff the app. Need fixing.
Hi eNotify team, The app was working fine until last week. But it seems not to work since some days. I am getting below error in logs: -> Warning: UNREGISTERED_ON_API_CONSOLE -> Exception: No OAuth access token available on device Can you please resolve the above issue? I love this app. Thanks.
Great app for IT alerting but wondering if there's an update coming soon. Afraid of losing my config to an O365 account and wouldn't be able to put it back because "app is too old"
Love it, extremely useful to help me with server alerts, so that I don't miss them. BTW, do you have any such app for repeating calendar alerts too?
well i have been trying to get support to answer my question but no one gets back to me. I have installed the program and when I go to setup an gmail account I receive a message app to old Please update.: Vic
I paid for the pro version previously. Now it says app is too old please update, but there is no update. I can't update my email password anymore so the app is useless.
Trying to add custom sound for notification and it kept saying failed. Does this feature only work with the purchased full version?
Great app! Tried it with my gmail and hotmail account. I love the custom alerts for different senders or accounts.
How do I turn off the icon that is always in the notification area? Looks like there is always a notification, which is confusing.
When trying to setup Email Account contonously receive Network is unreachable error. Emailed support...hopefully they will get back to me
Has a lot of options, which take some time to understand, but makes it a very configurable app
works realky well, i wish the running of the app was without an icon and it woukd start automatically after a reboot
Did not work. I tried to set it up for a Gmail folder. It was stuck to Inbox. Useless.
Can't get login to work. FAQ was out of date and no one ever replied to support emails.
Doesn't work, tried 2 email addresses it would not log on. Rubbish.
I generally don't write reviews. But this app compelled me to write one. I think this is the only app which does exactly what I was looking for without fail - all the time.
Great application But need to focus on one ISSUE that when you restart your mobile you need to manually start enotify to work again
Cant log in to exchange. I tried a lot but it doesnt connect me. How to log in??
Seems very promising, and if you can get it to work for you, congratulations. Connects seamlessly to a variety of email services, including Gmail, with minimal fuss. All I wanted to do is select an existing Gmail "label" and select an audio file already on the phone, as a notification. Yet I couldn't get that worked out, even with decades of tech developer experience. Sorry... There are just way, way too many settings -- hundreds. Repeatedly crashed while simply trying to set a custom audio file for the alert. Again, very promising, but needs a to be greatly simplified -- as with the email server component which was surprisingly simple. Maybe save the hundreds of settings for the premium version?
