The new update made the app worse. It used to display all the offers for each business on one page. By scrolling down the page, i could view all offers easily. Now I have to swap left and right to see an offer each time. The old way is much easier and quicker to view offers, absolutely dislike the new 'tinder' way and it actually took me a while to figure out I have to swap left and right.

I agree with almost everyone. the app is very user unfriendly, difficult to navigate, difficult to find new places (you can search for a venue if you know the name of it). I doubt very much that I will renew this unless they vastly improve it, or, failing that bring back paper until they get the app right.

Unusable since new 'updates'. Since the latest update, the app will not load beyond the home screen, unless you restart your entire phone, and I'm using a Google pixel 6 Pro So the phone itself should not have any issues. Furthermore, they've removed the ability to customize the amount of money you've saved, thus, it grossly over estimates. When you search on the map view it takes minutes to load and refresh. None of these issues were present in the last old version of the app, but now present.

Just when you think it couldn't get any worse they update the app again to make it even more difficult to use. In the past 3 years the entertainment book app has perfectly demonstrated how to take a perfectly intuitive and functional app and continuously deteriorate this functionality with every update. Taking a leaf from Microsoft's playbook it seems, update for the sake of updating without putting any thought into it and inevitably making things worse.

From terrible to unusable. The last app was buggy and barely worked as it was, this app won't even open or load. And as for the "discounts", specifically the "multi-city one"; I'm not even going to elaborate more than don't bother because there's almost nowhere decent in all of Newcastle. Despite what they say in response about updates, neither my partner, nor I, can use the app. I know how apps work and my partner works in IT. It's the app. Not us.

Wow. I can't believe the new disastrous app keeps getting worse. Terrible design and UX. Doesn't anyone test before each update goes live? The app doesn't even open anymore and is stuck on the pink intro screen. And yes I've updated. Horizontal scrolling on offers is not intuitive. Even searching on the desktop for a deal is hard as you can't filter the searches so it shows keyword results across all states. What a shame.

This app is horrible. Not user friendly, hard to navigate and completely unasthetic compared to the Black and Gold version. Using the old app, once you redeem something, most vouchers would renew after a certain amount of time. But now you use it once and that's it, you dont get any more. Not worth the money and wont be purchasing again. Don't fix things that aren't broken. What a shame

Search functionality doesn't work and deals that require you to click through to a retailers website are almost impossible to figure out without hitting the redeem button and hoping you haven't wasted your voucher! Since the upgrade from the old app it's clear that this app is poorly tested and rushed in many ways. The decline in businesses reflects how poorly executed the transition to digital has been for Entertainment. As a member for over 5 years I'm unlikely to renew anymore

Absolutely USELESS app. DON'T update! Running latest from 13/05/22;with every update, app gets worse, unreliable, even UNUSABLE! Old app was much more user friendly. Now, offers are difficult to find, multiple offers for multiple cities become 1 only and some offers have actually disappeared! That's if you can even get into the app - NEVER loads! It's the app, not the users! Been a supporter for 20years+ but unlikely to renew when the time comes. Another loyal customer lost. VERY DISAPPOINTING!

The original app was just barely acceptable but mostly usable. Three updates later and it is now completely unusable. The previous update was bad and had a terrible UX design. Now I can't do anything in the app. It usually won't load to its home screen. The once it did load, it froze on the first action I requested.

Just updated it and have lost all my Favourites. The page formatting has screwed up and everything is "stretched". No longer rotates to landscape. Overall a messy app. My subscription runs out tomorrow. Not sure I can be bothered fighting with this app all the time so probably won't renew.

Could you please include a list function when you navigate in the specific area in the map to show nearby offers, a "list" function is able to be selected to show all the offers rather than have to select each icon on the map to find out the offer? I think you have this function in a much earlier version of the app.

App horrible. New update promised new features and easy of use, it does not. Now when I look up a business by name, the heart favourites button is gone. Really miss the old app, search was way way easier and less bugs. This new app often stops working for no reason, which is difficult and embarrassing when on the spot trying to pay. The new app made me miss the old days when it was in a book and easier to use

I have problem signing in since they updated the app. Error message: unhandled exception occurred. Please contact support if it continues. I tried emailing, no reply; tried calling, no available agent. It ruined my dining experience as it happened unexpectedly when you are paying at the counter. This issue continues over the last week and here i am trying to use my vouchers before expiry! Not happy Jane

App loads very slowly. Search function is almost non existent. Map search function has disappeared and also shows businesses not listed as being part of the offers. Can no longer search by category such as wineries. I long to go back to having a book version. Quality of restaurants offered has diminished.

Had the book for years and very happy. Even upgraded this year but can't find a place to activate the new subscription. Gift card can't be downloaded. Can't get through to helpline. No reply to emails. Uninstalled and reinstalled app with no success. Ready to call this a scam and ask the bank for my money back.

The app has some good bits and some poor bits. Bit slow to load at times. One suggestion is to allow you to filter out the deals you have already redeemed. That way you can find what you can still use quicker.

This app is terrible on our Android phone. Most times it won't go past the intro screen so is unusable. We had to pay full price at the last restaurant we went to. Re-starting the phone and reinstalling the app made no difference.

I have just renewed and it won't even open to see my offers. All I get is the pink page with the lady on it. It doesn't move from there. The app two years ago was way better!! I have uninstalled, turned phone off I don't know how many times!

The app worked fine in the morning about 2 weeks ago but in the same evening asked me to sign in. I tried everything including reset / forgot password but just got error messages. I emailed entertainment but have not had a reply. I had to pay full price for the meal since it did not work.

This was the best, user friendly app out there. Now I can't even use it!! Searching is a nightmare, by the time the app loads I've left embarrassed that I've wasted everyone's time. Whoever decided the wheel needed to be reinvented should be sacked. Cut your losses and go back to the old app. You will lose far less in the long run. The real losers are all of the deserving charities that have put their faith in the company over the years, now having to try and sell this garbage.

aaargh! please dont waste your money. app doesnt work properly though the latest install fixed the splash screen freeze issue. tried to book car. said no cars avail but the hertz site has lots. no codes any more. no hardcopy. eb will be gone before my subscription even expires. noone will ever buy twice. oh and i have been on hold 40 mins already so dont expect help. update... aaaargh now they just disconnected the call.

Not an easy app to navigate around, very location-dependant. Also doesn't tell you when restaurant offers stop, but that's probably more admin rather than the app. I miss the proper book

I saw there was an app update, updated & lost all offers. Now I can't go back to the original. Please don't make my mistake & update!! ETA - Since then, there's been another update. However now the app takes 5mins to open, only to get zero offers. I didn't think it could get worse, but it did. Watch out!

What is going on with this app upgrade??? This has turned from "so hard to find anything on this app" to "OMG, what a waste of tme" What a shame!!! This has put off all our fundraisers and the feedback we are getting are terrible. The numbers and users of the boor are decreasing ever since the book went digital and the app update was the final drop for people. The app would not even open, after the "ugdate".

If it ain't broke, don't fix it! Please go back to the old app. Can you please update the app so the vouchers you've used don't show up or say redeemed like they used to. Very frustrating having to click the voucher to find out!

An awlful app, even after the latest upgrade. Hard to use and not intuitive, and now after the upgrade it has lost all my account details and I can't log in. Pretty rubbish really. Who is Annette?????
