Entrada’s workflow solution protects physician productivity before, during and after the transition to an EHR system. With seamless integration into all major EHRs, Entrada’s digital dictation provides a fast, easy way to document clinical information and makes EHRs much easier to adopt and use. Entrada understands the value and importance of a physician’s time. With Entrada, physicians no longer have to be slowed down with text fields, drop-down menus or checklists to create and edit clinical documents. Using Entrada’s solution, physicians still dictate their notes, voice-tagging each individual section, and these voice files are uploaded to Entrada’s data center for fast, accurate conversion to text. These notes are then reviewed and approved, either by Entrada’s team of editors or the clinic’s own staff, and Entrada automatically splits and inserts the narrative text directly into the correct locations in the patient record within the EHR.

Entrada syncs with a provider’s existing practice management software to build the physician’s active worklist, pre-populated with patient demographic information and organized by ‘job type’ (Office Visits, Surgery, Consultation, etc.). Through a simple, natural user interface, physicians can securely use this list to capture high-quality voice dictation files. Then, with a tap of a finger, these voice files are processed, edited and then tagged with essential, searchable data that facilitates EHR data capture. Also, if a patient cancels an appointment, the physician’s work list updates in real-time on all of his or her devices and at all locations, providing a significant benefit to the busy, mobile physician while ultimately enhancing the speed and efficiency of the documentation workflow.

A major problem with next gen application is its inability to have a medical dictionary tied to the dictation platform. Dictation is incredibly variable. Another problem with next gen application is the uploading of photos which appears to be at best tricky. All of that said it is 100% better than trying to directly enter data into next gen. I am hoping that the Android performance is enhanced and increased. Most apparently has been going into the Apple platform not the Android.

Insanely slow load times (phone screen regularly times out before login goes through), jobs list frequently just doesn't populate, dictations that are sent to be uploaded reappear in the jobs list as if they've never been sent (over and over again), and to top things off the app accumulates multiple gigs of temp files which eventually take up so much space you have to uninstall and reinstall just to clear it. I've told my practice to start looking for another clinic EMR if changes don't come soon

it dumped 26GB of temp files on my phone, eventually crashing the app and made my phone run slow, eventually affecting other apps as well. turns out they were all voice files. If I would have deleted the app as recommended they would have been gone. it's still dumping temp files so not fixed yet.

I am a new NG mobile user. Started using 4 months ago. Trying to use this for my day to day charting, for efficiency. But the tech support for this really is poor for android platform. There are several features which are available for apple users, are not available for android. I wish the techies work on resolving issues quickly.

I can't give a rating right now because I have questions for Nextgen that I need answered. My doctor uses a website called your health profile. Com and I have noticed Nextgen logo throughout the website. When I go to the website I am not able to connect with my physician and his staff. What's the deal with this and how come I am not able to access information and do things I need to do? The website Your health profile website is not very smart or functional outside email. Help plz Next

This app is terrible for Android. It works ok for IOS, but several flaws with android. It crashes frequently, I have to uninstall the app and reinstall the app multiple times a week. I have several missing dictations a month.

The last update significantly improved the functionality and useability of the app however I still run into sync issues on a weekly basis like. The only way to correct the sync issue is to uninstall and reinstall the app.

Used to work very well, now with new update, i like the new features, but completely useless on Android. It has to reload the list of patients after nearly every dictation, takes minutes, frequently loads no patients on the schedule, crashes constantly, I've done all the usual fixes uninstall reinstall clearing cache nothing works. At this point it is completely non-functional on Android. My patience is on very thin, and I will be spending my money elsewhere for dictations and the end of Entrada use forever if not fixed.
