The app can't upload photos of your driver's license (Error: Permission denied), it doesn't allow to upload scans instead. I managed to create my account using my partner's iPhone... You can't easily reschedule bookings. I arrived 15 minutes early to my booking. The car was there, unused. I wasn't able to adjust the start time, so I cancelled my booking to create another earlier one. Nope! After I cancelled my reservation, the car was still marked as reserved so I couldn't use it at all.

I highly recommend this app--it now functions well. I have an android phone, and found out after I installed this app it works a bit better on I-Phones. There were a few bugs here and there, but there Envoy staff has worked hard to resolve them all, and I now do not experience any problems at all. It helps to remember that this app has many complex functions which include booking a car--posting debits and credits to one's bank account, unlocking and locking the vehicle, storing and utilizing promo codes, and much more. EnvoyThere is a start-up, and it helps to remember that all start-ups have bugs, especially with electronic devices, and it always will take some time get everything running smoothly. Envoy has the best, most courteous staff, which has everything to do with success!

Completely unusable - can't even complete the sign up process because of errors. Have to use this service because the cars are in the building, and the app's sign in flow is totally broken. The license won't scan, and it makes you take a selfie upside down, which is impossible and terribly frustrating. Then, even with all the necessary info, it kicks out an error and refuses to verify. Ridiculously bad.

Hello I've rented the Envoy Volkswagen Goulf the ride was so smooth I have to when I stop at a stop light ease off the break to make sure the engine is on, the car has so many feature I believe not sure it has satellite radio the speaker system is awesome, the car has a bluetooth access. It has great power for getting on the freeway with ease. The representatives are so friendly and extremely patient they will answer all you questions. I'll be renting it again very soon

Horribly frustrating! Ridiculous technical difficulties/malfunctions trying to upload driver's license. They need to go back to the drawing board on their user interface. And, I was really looking forward to using their service. The cars look really nice.

Just delist this app from the play store already!!!! App hasn't been updated in more than a year. If I couldn't see the cars parked I would honestly think this is a dead project (or are the cars just abandoned)? Like, what's the deal with this company? The only time I was able to get a hold of someone almost a year ago, they pretty much said I should get an iPhone to do the sign-in process. Like, if the register doesn't work in android, just give me a web based form to do so, ffs.

Having the Envoy cars available to the residents of our Sacramento property is a huge asset in many ways. Personally, I love the cars themselves, they're fun to drive, handle well and are very responsive. This is my first experience driving a fully electric car and I'm impressed! They're so quiet, you're initially not sure whether they're actually running!! I also love the fact that i don't have to own a car any longer with all the associated costs like insurance, repairs and upkeep. It's there when I need it. Parking in our part of the City is a nightmare. Having a vehicle available with a dedicated parking space is also a big advantage. We had a few glitches with the initial installation, and these all appear to be resolved. I've used the vehicles since the recent "fix" without any issues at all. I'm a huge proponent of electric vehicles and other technologies that reduces our dependency on fossil fuels and the concept of car sharing services such as Envoy are in the right place at the right time. I predict that more and more properties will utilize this great service to offer value to their existing and potential residents, and I wish them every success.

Will not open. Keeps crashing. Uninstalled. Reinstalled. X 4 restarts, permission checks, settings etc. No go. One of their Elecric VWs is sitting in front of the complex. Tried to rent before. It worked on the iPhone6 . I reserved the car for an appointment and was unable to unlock vehicle remotely. Then a billing problem........ Annoying. Sammie S10 Droid 9.0.

This app is useless. It doesn't even allow you to complete the registration. It keeps breaking the camera app and need to restart to get it to work. When it works, it doesn't even allow you to verify your info. For a rideshare company relying on the technology and the app, this is pretty bad.

can't get past uploading my drivers driver's license pic without app crashing. I'm on Android and see others having similar issues. would love to try this out as I think it's a great concept...but doesn't seem to work quite yet.

What a weird app. The only thing you can do is sign in. You can't even verify information because the app is so full of bugs and errors. You need to contact customer service to have them add your license and get verified. THEN the app works fine.

IMPOSSIBLE to use this service if the app doesn't work. I have a Google phone and I can't get the selfie portion to work. When it finally takes it, it will not allow me to verify and move on. I just want to find out pricing info for my parents and I can't do anything in the app until I upload my data. What a waste. I am beyond frustrated. Get your company together, Envoy. Completely useless.

Every time I go to use the cars my booking fails. It asks me to cancel and rebook. When I do this I can't rebook the car because it says it is in use?? Buggy and impossible to reach anyone to get help. Would rather call an uber and pay to actually get there on time.

App verification does not work on the pixel 3. I cannot save the front license (Permission:denied) even when the app has full permissions. Also the photo selfie is defaulted to be upside down. Needs a lot of work but will edit this when fixed

Regardless of how many times you say to resend code when making your account and making sure everything's right, you'll never get the code. This app is functionally useless. Update: got hit the next day with 5 codes, all were of course expired. Redid this again, didnt work tried the next day and it works. But cant get past license upload because it says "user 0 does not exist" so app is still useless.

Horrible customer service. Cars (like Teslas) that my building advertised would be available never arrived. The cars have glitches that can prevent them from unlocking and if it happens during the trip, Envoy does not help you reach you destination or return home.

Love how conveniently available the cars always are. Easy to operate as well. But not very happy that you dont have access to end reservation. Atleast during down time like when you are out of vehicle inside store shopping, at an appointment etc so that you arent being charged still when you are not even driving. Other than that i love them

The app won't let me take/upload photos of my ID or the selfie required to sign up, on my Pixel 4XL. I can't sign up for the app which is a shame since my apartment building has Envoy cars and I would like to use them. There is no link anywhere for customer support.

This app is majorly flawed!!! I can't even complete the sign-up process because the camera feature is upside down (anyway I turn my phone) and so it won't recognize my face! So much for using the service.

Doesn't work on Android. I also am getting the permission error message when i try to upload my id & photo. Oh well. You who's rental apps do work perfectly, and have webpages as well? Avis & Sixt. I guess when I need to rent a car I'll just have to go to one of their locations instead.

Can't create account on Android. Whenever I try to take my selfie, it the camera launches upside down and never allows you to take your picture, this you can't create an account. Deleted app until this is addresses. It's a shame as I'd love to use this service at my apartment complex.

Love the concept of affordable EV rentals by the hour! I see alot of people have trouble signing up as well did i but if u contact customer service they respond back quickly and help out with any issue. :)

I see value in the convenience...but at .15 cents per minute equivocating to 9.00 an hour,it's highly overcharged. If I can rent a hybrid or gas car for $36.00 per day; which is 1.50 an hour, the prices aren't even in a competitive range. I also compared to uber and Lyft and they are only slightly less than Lyft or Uber. Overall there is no competitive edge and there is no reason to use this over uber or the car I own.

Super buggy, unreliable... Account payment issues that customer service can't resolve, so I can't reserve a car... Great idea, but the app is awful...

Doesn't allow me to complete registration. Have all my information in license portion. Took all the pictures but can't press verify button.

A solid, easy to use app that provides convenient access to their amazing electric vehicles and tracks all rental history.

Things have been slowly getting better with the app. Don't be mean to customer service they have to deal with A LOT. Worth the money depending on what u need to do. Cheaper than Lyft too.

Been using Envoythere this year. Very convenient and easy to use. Customer service is great too.

Ugh the app doesn't work. I can't get past the screen to give my driver's license info even though everything is filled out..

Legit think this app is a scam to collect user information. I can take a photo of my license and a selfie but can't get past that point in the app.
