ePay Punjab
e-Pay Punjab is the first ever government payment gateway designed to allow the Citizens and Businesses of Punjab to make their B2G (Business to Government) and P2G (Public to Government) payments (taxes, fee, cess etc.) through digital means.
Using ePay Punjab, dues can be paid through the following four payment channels.
• Mobile Banking
• Internet Banking
• ATM
• OTC (Over the Counter) banking transaction
The solution is developed by The Punjab IT Board (PITB) under the instructions and guidance of The Finance Department of Punjab. At the backend it is integrated with State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) and 1-link for interconnectivity across the entire banking network in Pakistan.
Payment Process and Channels
To pay the tax dues, an individual will access e-Pay Punjab application or website to generate a 17-digit PSID number. The PSID number that is unique for each transaction could subsequently be used on the aforementioned four payment channels i.e. Mobile Banking, Internet Banking, ATM or OTC by the citizens to pay the tax dues.

Token Tax for Vehicle: Annual tax paid by owners of motor vehicles.
Motor Vehicle Registration: One-time fee paid by the buyer of new
vehicle at the time of purchase.
Vehicle Transfer: Fee paid at the time of transfer of vehicle to a new owner.
Property Tax: Annual tax paid by property owners in urban areas.
Professional Tax: Taxes paid by the working professional on his profession on an annual basis.
Cotton Fee: Fee paid on raw cotton brought to ginning factory.
e-Stamping: Payment of stamp duties on judicial, non-judicial, CVT, registration and comparison fee.
Mutation Fee: Fee paid by the buyer at the time of transfer of property to a new owner.
Fard Fee: Fee paid by the owner of property for the issuance of property ownership document.
Sales Tax on Services: Taxes levied on service oriented business in the province of Punjab
Punjab Infrastructural Development Cess: Levy collected on transportation of goods manufactured, produced or consumed in, imported into or exported out of the Punjab.
Business Registration Fee: Fee paid by the owner to register his business.
Route Permit: Fees paid by owners of commercial vehicles for allotment / permission of specific routes for inter / intra city travel

Great update. The app is now fully functional. Previously locked features have been enabled now (property tax, mutation, vehicle registration etc.). A quick note on the FAQ section: the links there are not clickable (tapping anywhere in the area of the answer just closes the answer instead). Also, these links dont change color when dark mode is enabled, and thus become unreadable.
Good app but after completion of all process Taking too much Time for process. Next one is this after process smart card must deliver to purchaser cnic address or address provided by purchaser. Please focus on it.
App is very useful and practical as i transfered my vehicle very smoothly , one feature which is not activated is vehicle registration , if it is also available then i will be much more easier for registration as well overall great initiative by Punjab government for streamlining the system .
It's not working properly, Most of my friends have submitted the same complaint that the app is unable to update, moreover token amount paid through app is not shown in system..
Trying to create an account for my father. It keeps telling me that it couldn't process the request. Tried many times. And my login isn't working either
Very pathetic services. I am waiting for for my payment transaction to be processed since 3 weeks. Called helpline sevearl times but eveytime same lollipop. If u want to increase your tensions then go for it.
In e-challan section when ever in write my car number and search it It shows no data found it doesn't show any challan Kindly resolve this issue most people have installed this app just to pay e-challan so give some focus to that portion Jazak Allah
This application is not working temporarily for property tax pin and Generating PSID. Pis Punjab is also not working for property tax.. Please solve the issue. This is not a permanent issue as it was working some days ago. I hope this issue will be solved soon.
wonderful invention. Vehicle blocking feature is also necessary. Then every one will use vehicle on his own name registered.
Un authenticated app as i cant my Rawalpindi number 19 model bike on this app... it gives me no result when i type registration number... As it is available on excise and taxation portal online.
Login error. App is not working. Government of Punjab should take an immediate action to fix the error. If no one there to help contact us.
Motor vehicle registration is unavailable so how to check weather my vehicle registered or not
Pathetic 😅 As i have paid challan online for vehicle transfer against PSID. Biometric verification of buyer is also performed on e nadra sahulat center, But now when i login to the app and enter my vehicle registration no in transfer of vehicle tab, it gives message of " sorry your transaction is under processing" although challan is shown "paid" in history tab. Now i am in trouble that how to proceed the transfer process further.
That app not login in my mobile I have tried multiple time but still giving error messages contact to support. And the support is so lazy
The works for the token tax for motor vehicles, registration, transfer fee etc, but it's not working for property tax challan generation since I've updated it a few days back. Before the update it was working fine and property tax challan was being generated by it and there was no issue with it. But now it just got stuck. Also now there is a hassle to login to the app, you can't login straight away. One has to try several times and input several OTPs, before the servers finally let you login.
I am unable to create an account on any of the Punjab IT apps right now. Once I fill in my account information the app says to contact support. (Update) I'm updating it to 3 stars. Since I was able to login after weekend. It seems the service was offline during the weekend. However the online payment system is a great effort. Saves us a lot of hassle.

AOA I installed the application with great expectations. I was trying to pay the motor vehicle tax but the application didn't find my vehicle. Search history button not working. I have tried it with two different mobiles but still the application didn't find the vehicle details. Please resolve this issue as soon as possible! Plus this is a great initiative by Punjab government! I will change the rating of this application as soon the problem will be resolved. Thank you Issue resolved!
Too many errors. First tried to register, gave me an error. Then when I tried to register again with the same email it said it had already been taken, even though registration wasn't verified first time. Then I signed in with the email, got it verified, but the account never loads and gives other errors. Edit: Worked eventually. Might have been server overload.
The overall aesthetics and UI of the app is ok but some of the features are not responding like the fitness certificate tab under transportation section also I was unalble to find the section for the driving license. There is a room of improvement in this app to make it more user-friendly.
Online vehicle token tax calculator works for all vehicles. But in the ePay app why can't I generate PSID for vehicle token tax payment for a car that's not under my name. It says there was an error. I tried doing it for two other cars and it didn't work. But it works for my car. Can you please fix it? The app is great otherwise just need to remove the robot check. Doesn't make sense in an app.
I used this app today on 24th July, for payment of token tax. All the steps were easy and smooth & I found no difficulty til final payment and getting confirmation. I think we should appreciate such initiatives as things like these require time to clear bugs and be more user friendly. Good work! keep it up!
In the beginning it was a great experience especially paying the road tax for my car. After that an error message pops up whenever I try to log in. I have emailed and contacted via the website but have not had any response.
Very Bad. Tried all possible combinations and couldn't find my two vehicles 2011 & 2013 registered. Need too much serious efforts to make it happen. Just launching an app that doesn't work is not an achievement.
it does not work at all. I want to register my vehicle for exise tax but after clicking on register button it takes a while in loading then shows a message that "your internet speed is slow" although I am having 10 mbps internet connection. I think the app needs further testing. thank you
This application is good but it don't work the way it supposed to be. I wrote two complaints (85031& 86611) but both closed without resolving the issue and saying go to office. I am active tax return file, but my car token tax was as non filer. It seems IT system is not linked to read status of FBR to determine tax filer status active or inactive. I think it is useless in solving above mention problem.
Thanks for this application. I reside in Islamabad and this application is a big help to me. Now i can pay my car token online by using any application, or even the ATM machine. And to top that, they offered 5% additional discount on payment though application, which is very good. (this discount is applicable to early payments, i do not know whether this applies to late payments or not.) At first I was not sure how it works. But it was easy to understand that you have to be logged in with car owner's (yours) CNIC and then search for the car number. There will be an option to pay token tax for that car only if it matches your account information. Clicking on payment option will open another page mentioning that your code has been generated, and then simply use that code to pay from your account/easypaisa or any other app.
The app was working fine, but since I've installed the latest update on 27, july 2020, the app is not opening at all! I also tried reinstalling, but the app gets stuck as soon as I open it. Please fix this as soon as possible.
Bad Experience, whenever I search my bike number in transfer motor vehicle section, it shows not found while on the web based excise system it shows data correctly, becoming frustrating... Please do resolve the issue.
