Epic Seven

Was a great game to start, but after tens of thousands of dollars spent, with no luck on getting any pieces with good enough speed at a high level I'm at my breaking point. Everything being gated behind RNG has made the game experience incredibly disappointing. Players that have played less than a year are better geared than someone who has consistently been spending money and farming for three years. No thanks.

This is hands down my favorite mobile game to play. I have played since launch and it has it all, PVE and PVP. It has a decent amount of strategy in the combat with a wide range of characters each with their unique set of skills. The game has been very generous with rewards and free currency to keep players F2P. But to excel in PVP a lot of grinding content or swiping your card is required. There are a ton of game modes and challenges to keep busy.

Epic Seven is the highest quality mobile game that I've played or seen. The game has a lot of depth, good story, great turn based RPG gameplay and absolutely gorgeous graphics. The animations are flawless. After a while you will have to start farming a lot for gear and some rarer heroes, but if you like grinding and feeling accomplished after finally getting that awesome hero that you wanted or that amazing gear piece, this game is top notch.

Been playing this game since the beginning several years ago. Very good game overall but I'm starting to really see the issues with characters being too hard to beat. I have tons of characters maxed out with great gear and still struggle against a few units (c lilias, AOL, etc). The game is also very grindy and it's starting to get annoying how long I have to leave my phone sitting on auto to collect resources. The developers should look at games like Dislyte.

It's a beautiful and pretty fun game if you are willing to spend time to build the characters. Can get repetitive but still ok. I think the developers did a great job with the graphic and myriads of characters with different skills. I was so willing to spend money, when I realised it's not worth it... the package and offerings are too freaking expensive, it’s silly!! I ended not spending anything. Game is still great as f2p though.

This game is absolutely beautiful and fun to play. I am not sure why peie are saying the levels are difficult, because first about 5-6 full episodes are quite easy. The only issue I really have with this game is the connection bug. When my internet is unstable and it tries to reconnect it never does even though the internet may be back. The only solution to this is to restart the whole game which is extremely annoying, I wish it would just reconnect normally..

Updating my opinion about this game, the summon rate is frustrating, but on the other side, it provides a lot of events giving us a chance to get something. I changed my mind a little and I can tell this game it's good, there's a lot of content, good graphics, and a good story. But we still have that 'rage moment' when you try to summon and got 'nothing'.

I have been playing this game since it released and I love it. I try other games and I always come back to this one. I love the anime aesthetic. The story is actually really good. Obviously it is a gotcha game, but I have always felt that the drop rates are fair and the events come out enough to keep you stocked on some of the important items used for upgrading and exp. At least a must try. 10/10

Why 1 star? first of all, the graphics are good, I don't have a problem, it's ok, even if it's low end cp, the animation is also good and it's easy for you to be a 5 star character or 4 star, but it's hard to farm, especially when it comes to materials, for example, awaken and skills, I didn't say to "make the game easier" if only you could reduce the exchange and make the drop easier, that's all I can say.

Game is great, albeit grindy. If you have the patience to grind and get stronger, it's quite satisfying. However, recently the game has had a large problem with crashing, with troubleshooting required every day. I believe the problem is connected to the android system WebView, so I don't want to place a low review in case the problem is outside of your control. However, it's becoming a nuisance to have to uninstall and reinstall the WebView app 2-3 times a day, so I hope a solution comes soon.

It's a good game with unique characters and ok pity rates. The price for microtransactions are ridiculously high and you get little for it. But they do give out enough free currency that getting new units is painless. However, the end game experience is currently abysmal. I have been playing for years and this is the worst it has ever been. I had to lower my rating to 2* because of it. Pvp is beyond broken right now. If you don't own all 10 or so of the meta units, then you can't even compete.

first of all, I want to say that this is a good game. I like the character designs, the visual effects, and the Japanese voice actors. I just want to express my thoughts in certain characters because they are just basically unfair to play against regardless of gearing issues. I think a good way to make things better is to rebalance the characters. Not necessarily a nerf but to still make them good in their roles.

I've played a lot of rpg games. This one tops them all. The story is good, there are regular updates, game doesn't force you directly or otherwise to spend. I've been experiencing crashes recently tho. Have a look at that Edit: The crashes are happening increasingly often, no choice but to quit

Not really a game for collectors if you are into PvP... First, PvP absolutely requires that you have reached something like lvl 60 or 65, because you have to be able to furnish your heros high level eqipment that has been modified to not only bring out their unique advantages, but also so that they synergize with the rest of the team. Unfortunately, you aren't allowed to modify equipment until you reach that level.

The game is the most stunning game available to play. The only thing I think that needs to change is the characters stats need to level up as the character levels up. We should not have to solely rely on the tiny bump up at lvl 60 from into stats and then gear. The stats should adjust as they level and then add the gear stats on top of that.

Back on this game after almost 2 yrs out coz the game stopped working on my phone. came back just before the Major update and I have to say I'm still really impressed with where this game has gone since I first played it on its release. Quality of life improvements have been on point and there's Alway things to do. Game animations and new units designs are still top tier, story are interesting if you find the time to read them. My only problem: make it easier for new guilds to recruit in game.

I gave a rating a few months back talking about how the game itself is very well made, it has good animation, good story, and amazing pve and pvp, within the past few updates I really like how you guys made 5 stars more accessible to beginners allowing them to get a good headstart and room to make mistakes especially for the free to play. But now that you've guys gotten that is out the way you guys should work toward reworking or buffing characters in need like some of the limited edition heros.

Basically like every other app out there with grotesquely expensive micro transactions that don't even really give you anything good. Ya you can grind to get things but the amount of time to get said items isn't worth it either. Figure I'd give it a chance, but after the same thing over and over with no worth while rewards I'm calling it quits.

Updated on 05/27/2021: about a month ago I uninstalled the game. And I truly feel bad about it. The company has come a long way in listening to players and improving, but I've seen one big wall that isn't fixed: gear. I had a period where I grinded hunts for 3 straight months and had nothing new to show for it. What I would need to see to re-download the game is a path that guarantees gear improvement for time invested, instead of only letting RNG guide the way.

Game is very enjoyable although I have 2 problems based on my personal opinion and experience. First is the enemy scaling in the story mode, it gets too tanky and hard really quickly and makes story progression annoying. Secondly packs are mostly either $50 or $100, if anyone spends in this game they're gonna spend big, the packs themselves aren't really worth much anyways. I would prefer if $20-30 packs that are worth it since if it feels nice to pay I'd pay more.

I love this game ♡ My only complaint is that the app randomly shuts down and I lose progress as well as resouces (ex. Energy if it shuts down in the middle of a Hunt battle). It's been happening a few times a day for the past week. I also noticed that I have access to the Custom Limited Banner but some of my friends do not (but had access last week).

Edit: keeps crashing especially during arena. Regardless of the bad experience I've had in the past, I do love this game. I've played it since launch, was fortunate enough to enjoy their booth at 2019* NYCC, before Covid, and have fond memories, goodies and pics of that time. Their summoning rates have improved, tho not by a significant amount (still have to spend like a whale). The events and occassional crossovers keep the game fresh, and the artwork and animations get better every year.

Would recommend newbies stay away. Have 2 years of experience in this game, and I can say that there's not that much to this game anymore. Variety is severely restricted in terms of what units are usable in the endgame. Some units are just broken, or extremely aggravating to fight against. The games multiple layers of rng make it infuriating to play. The game used to be good.. now because of increased greed on the part of the developer, the game is down in the dumps. Stay away until they fix it.

I really love the game💜. it has such great graphics and well detailed tutorial, which is easy for any beginner to understand and learn, that I've simply fallen in love with the game💕. The story is great as well✨. I really recommend everyone interested in games to absolutely play this fantastic game💖. The only thing I couldn't do in the game was to not be able to change my nickname...😭. it isn't working...or is it me who is unable to change it?🥲...someone help me with this ...please...🤧..

Great game don't get me wrong, animation,rates, and story are awesome. But I have to give it a 2 star review because of the account binding. I understand the reason why smilegate binds account permanently but for a game that aims to last for years un-linking accounts should be a thing. I contacted customer service but the process requires info that I don't have (like date account was created..etc.). Just feels bad because I started way back in the day and linked with emails I don't use anymore.

It is a gatcha game with a lot of RNG involved. It is P2W game but friendly for F2P as well. Some strategies required but RNG is heavily impact as well, if you dont have the heart for it.. you may want to avoid. The biggest problem now is PVP balancing issue Other than that, it is a fun game, a lot of auto grinding, good art and animation, and improvements come a long the way.
