Very very poorly balanced game, also incredibly shallow compared to others in the genre. Don't waste your time. There is only a single linear upgrade path, most of which don't matter as the gameplay is so unbalanced you will never use any of the upgrades. Resources earn so slowly that keeping up with the enemies is virtually impossible. The UI is clunky and awkward. Don't waste your time or money and get a different game.
Could be a good game, but is not. Devs, read the reviews, they are all saying the same thing! It isn't balanced, and you have to have the position of individual towers just right or you lose. Plus the targeting is awful, why does it not shoot the first enemy like every other tower defense, rather than just shooting whichever one it feels like?
After playing this for a while I have to say this isn't anything short of a puzzle game with a tower defense skin. After the first levels, only one very precise tower placement/upgrade methods will clear the level with the amount of money that is given. Almost every single level throws enemies at you that given the budget in the level you can't even afford the tower to kill them forcing you to sacrifice health to be able to kill a few enemies to then buy the tower if the Devs dont just throw 10+ unkillable enemies at you. It feels like there was supposed to be a cash shop in this game that would let you clear levels but of course no IAP so this game just becomes pointless to play for anyone short of a die hard fan that likes to figure out the one way to clear each level.
nothing more frustrating than a game that is literally impossible to complete.. very fun and well done game that is rigged. rewards do not match the cost of towers, it doesn't matter what placement or which towers you use... you cannot win once you get to 8th + boards. otherwise would be one of the best td games out there. I bought premium because it was free with my play points. dont waste your money.
As others have said, game is incredibly frustrating. It's possible to do for sure and I got quite far, but tower placement, upgrading and timing needs to be exactly as the developer intended to win with almost no room for ever. Painstaking trial and error placements for each and every wave is a chore and not fun.
Poorly balanced and missing core TD expected features. Game lacks a pause at the very beginning where you can survey the map and plan. This is ABSOLUTE BASIC REQUIREMENT come on! 'Difficulty' is artificial and caused by poor balance of high mob speed and low earn rate. Also unable to preview upgrade cost making it difficult to plan ahead. If this design is to force players to waste time repeatedly restarting then its absolute garbage game design. TD is a long established genre with standards.
It is a tower defense game, but was boring to me. Very quickly becomes nearly impossible to beat. Without an immersive quality, just got bored trying different tactics.
The negative reviews are legitimate. I don't think the devs actually tried playing this game through before release. Hardly any resources for killing enemies makes upgrading towers during battle impossible. Highly imbalanced game. The difficulty was set much too high, and there is barely any content or rewards
I wish I could just outright buy the game I'm not sure I'm going to be happy with play pass yet but I am having a blast with this game so far. As long as it doesn't turn into a pay to win situation I am going to continue to support this game and play it. So far the play experience is fair and fun and challenging just a blast. Anyway great game mates!
Played the first few levels and got fed up. Not enough resources to upgrade and progress so deleted the game. The point of playing a game is to have a chance of winning.
Got thirty levels in on hard mode and suddenly the game reset to what it was like the first time I opened it. Nice one.
Went along fine. I get the precision of tower placement but level 17 was way beyond ridiculous in its precision requirement. Went from difficult to impossible.
Lost all progress suddenly. I pauses at 8th level of chapter 1 and when i came back i had to start over. It was good till it lasted.
Horrible, can't get past level 2-7 because I can't upgrade one of the turrets. I have 18 stars to use and can't do nothing in the lab. Waste of time.
Loads of fun! Challenging, yet beatable. No p2w aspect because its only one purchase. Just pure game and a good game at that!
Really good enemy wave type VS. Tower placement so far. Art style is pretty good too.
Wildly linear, you get three stars, unlock three towers, get three stars, unlock three towers. It is like a very drap TD game got really pretty graphics.
I really like this Game alot. Its fun but challenging at the same time. . Was wondering if we could get a 120hz mode?
Ridiculous.. Did they even attempt to play this game you get to level 5 and it's pretty impossible to beat it..
I beat the brakes off this game on hard. It is possible as is. Just gotta dig in.
It was fun, until you hit lol 4 with not enough money and no way to truly stop the swarms.
Difficulty goes to near impossible starting level 6. Not enough resources.
Many reviews give this game 1 star because, "after level 2 there are just too many enemies to win". This is just false, I've played arcade mode and have breezed through the first 4 levels so far. So why 4 stars and not 5? Epic TD pro had a more artistic design, more diverse maps, better soundtrack and cooler enemies. That said this is better than 90% of the other TD games on the market, so check it out.
