Excellent App. My computer stopped working after purchasing a printer, which I desperately needed for work. I tried this app and could not believe how easy it is to just print via my android phone and my Tablet. Thank you so much for this amazing app. It has saved me from such a backlog of work. Highly recommended. No problems. So far, so good. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I absolutely can NOT send a print job from my phone to the printer! It was working fine until December 30. 2021, and now I get a message that the printer is not available, when it clearly is! I have rebooted, uninstalled, reinstalled and still doesn't work for print jobs sent from my phone. Please fix this issue ASAP, thank you!
I am so happy that I finally took the time to read these reviews! Thanks to all of you, I know that I'm not crazy! Although my Epson NX430 is old, it was working perfectly... until Dec of 2021. Now, I keep getting the "printer is not available" message! I've tried every method that I can think of to get it to work...uninstalling and reinstalling apps, resetting the Wifi, etc. Would love to know if there is any hope for this printer! Guess it's time for a new one (NOT Epson!!)
The problem a lot of bad reviewers are experiencing is probably the problem I'm having now: the app offers no means to configure the printer, which has been given a different IP than the first time it was connected. Add a settings interface.
I'm having the same dang problem as everyone else below. I had the printer 2 months before I was even able to set it up. Didn't have any issues at all, maybe used 10 times if that.. Now that desperate to print what I need for taxes, I can not get it to do a dang thing even plugging my lap top up to it. I have a Wi-F mesh system. I've run diagnostics every day for 3 days now, to say it's connected to Wi-Fi;there are no issues;everything works correctly as should! Iveshut down my whole internet!
DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!Absolute junk printer. Randomly decides when to and when not to work. Ink cartridges barely last that long at all. When a color cartridge is empty it'll say you can still print in black and white but when you try to even do that it'll stop and say you have refill the color first. Completely unreliable and judging from the other comments not only is this a common problem but they have no intention of fixing it.
We have had this printer since it was made; it will work until it won't print from any device. It keeps showing it's not connected to the network, which is wrong because our network is fine. It looks like we need a new driver,AGAIN. We have to use an old laptop w/ a disk slot only to fix the printer but we only print from our phones. Stop making us add new drivers & research fixes! Fix the defects, or we won't buy another Epson and will tell everyone the same to boycott.
Printer was working fine until 03/19(around COVID) then it was used about once a week to print invoice messages for clients. Was working enough to get by until the neighbors decided to have disruptive faxes sent through it. Never even knew who the faxes were from. It started going haywire along with the lovely scanner next to it. Just an educated guess but I'm guessing the code would have updated itself if it never had so many meaningless, distracting, and unwelcomed mock-jobs sent to it.
I feel like I can never print without a problem from devices other than my connected with a cable! I wish you can get your drivers and connectivity with WIFI up to par with HP 🌹 That will make your product the best Ink useage is the best!!!
It's sad to see so many people upset with Epson when it's really Microsoft's fault. To the best of my knowledge anyway. An Android/Windows update, a year ago(?), created this problem with printers addresses. Epson support was great. They spent 30 min on the phone troubleshooting equip they don't even make anymore. Found the problem. Told & emailed me, exactly what to tell my ISP, to recognize printers address again. When I call ISP-Xfinity/Comcast. All they say is I need a new printer.
If I could give zero stars I would. My Epson printer consistently tells me "printer is not available" when there are no issues with WiFi or anything else. WTH? It prints one day or one hour then next it's not available. From day one I've had issues. My cannon works better than this expensive Epson. YOU NEED TO FIGURE THIS OUT AND FIX IT. YOU'RE LOSING YOUR CUSTOMERS. So frustrating!
Absolutely worthless, cannot add any printers, no explanation as to why or how to troubleshoot. Complete waste of time and money, very frustrated, will never buy another Epson product ever again.
This app does not enable all the functions of my Epson WF-3720 printer on my new Galaxy Tablet. It blocks the pre-installed software and prevents me from printing altogether. My printer is not supported by Mopria. I am unsure if this is the issue. I uninstalled the application because "limited printing" is betted than "unable to print".
Great when it works. I have an older Epson printer. Sometimes it works straight off. Sometimes you have to just wait until it has paired and sometimes it doesn't work at all. WiFi strength is fine. Often have to uninstall and reinstall it to get it to work.
Everything prints larger than it should from my phone, no matter the settings. This means that it's useless for printing most things. Update: still doing this, having to resize by photocopying. Printer is enjoying the much cheaper inks I'm buying in protest.
There was a pop-up to agree to the terms of service it only showed for a moment. It timed out and I missed it the first time. nothing would print unless the notification was quick and then the next page was accepted
This app just stopped working been six months now it won't connect to my printer. Which will p toont from my lap top. I've heard this before from other people. so not just me.now I can't print at all from my phone. Disappointed
This printer is excellent. My only problem with it, it's small,selection panel. You can print photos with plain paper in tray.
Worked June 2021 when I needed to print something. Went to use it again and had to replace color cartridges. Did that and it still will not let me print from my phone. Absolutely frustrating!
Does not work with phone, I reinstalled this app, and it worked for two jobs, now it won't work again, I thought that the reinstalling fixed the problem, it didn't. I'm back to trying to fine out what to do. I'll call the internet service next week and get that newer model router. Maybe that's why I'm having trouble. Who knows with the ever changing technology that we are stuck with. 3/27/2022, Still not working.
I hate this app. I can never print, keep receiving errors that the printer isn't available even though we're on the same network and the printer has a strong connection.
Always worked perfectly from my S10 Galaxy, since new year connects and is aware of the printer but when I go to print a doc I am just informed... ' This printer isn't available right now' (fine from all other wifi devices though!!?? :-(
Every time I try to use it via Wi-Fi I have to end up doing a direct connect from my cell phone to my lap top. I have had to uninstall and reinstall this app several times to get it to work and that is just ridiculous.
No longer prints from Android. I print, scan & fax from phone & tablet. Can't use my printer combo at all now unless on laptop. Fix the bug please.
Printing stopped working last month. Please fix this issue. ********* FIXED MY PROBLEM ******* I downloaded Epson iPrint and then tried to print again. This time I was asked to answer the privacy statement. I did this and the printing is working again. Yeah. Epson problem, nice testing guys.
Quit working! Quit showing available, when it clearly is. Worked fine last time I printed from my phone. Nothing now. How are people supposed to work and make a living. One print job will cost me too much with an unreliable printer.
Says Printer offline/not found was working fine until december and now i cannot print from my chromebook. I have uninstalled and reinstalled and still having the same issue. I can print from my phone but not the chromebook
I have been printing from my phone and tablet for years but it has suddenly stopped. I have done everything the troubleshooting guide tells me and my router shows the printer and devices are connected. Looking at the recent reviews I can see this has become a problem for others. Come on Epson, what have you done with your software updates that is blocking the connection. My printer is quite old but has always been reliable. I'll not buy another one if you can't reactivate the connection.
Can't get it to function so far. UPDATE: OK, well I can get it to print. But without any preview or anything. It wants to print the entire document, blank pages and all. Doesn't want to let me choose. And IDK if it's the pdf writer or the printer, but the font size defaults to the size I originally wrote the document in. So, I will write in a larger font like 17 because of my eyesight. Then I select the complete text & bring it down to 10 to 12, & save as pdf. It prints at 17. Waste of paper.
