Epson Run Connect
◆ Description Run Connect is a free application for EPSON GPS wrist devices (GPS Sports Monitor) (hereinafter called wrist devices). You can connect the wrist device to Android by Bluetooth SMART and upload the data measured by the wrist device to the web service "RUNSENSE View" that allows you to visually check the data. This is useful when you want to check the detailed data immediately after a competition or training, or when you want to upload data while you are away from home.
◆ Main functions of Run Connect[Wrist device data listing function]
- Wrist device data list The function acquires data from the wrist device and displays a list. The function resisters simplified data
* to RUNSENSE View as it acquires the data.
- Wrist device data check You can select a data item and check the registered simplified data on RUNSENSE View.
- Data upload You can select a data item and upload it to RUNSENSE View*Simplified data: Only measurement data for each lap that does not contain position information.*You need to perform the "data upload" process to upload the complete (measurement data in indoor mode does not contain the position information).[RUNSENSE View connection function]
- RUNSENSE View connection You can log in to RUNSENSE View using a browser with the account set with the "Account management function". [Account management function]
- Setting the RUNSENSE View account You can set the account to log in to RUNSENSE View (the account is also required for the upload).
- Cancelling the RUNSENSE View account You can cancel the account to log in to RUNSENSE View (this is not a resignation from RUNSENSE View by deleting the account).
- Creating a new RUNSENSE Viewaccount You can create a new account when using RUNSENSE View for the first time. You can also use this function when you have forgotten the login ID or password.*You can continue to use RUNSENSE View accounts that have previously been registered.[Pairing function]
- Starting the pairing process with the wrist device You can pair your iPhone and the wrist device.
- Unpairing the wrist device You can unpair your iPhone and the wrist device.
◆ Notes on uploading dataIt may take a while to upload large measurement data that contains position information from the wrist device. *Uploading measurement data for an hour's running takes approximately 3 to 10 minutes. ◆ Supported models SF-810, SF-710, SF-510, SF-310 and SF-110

Has suddenly stopped linking to Strava. Been great for 2yrs no problem, now just stopped. Need to keep manually downloading route as gpx on Espon to then upload to Strava. Cant do it via app either so having to use laptop time for each activity. VERY ANNOYING!!!
Made me rate at least a one. This app gets a big fat zero. Cant get phone connected with bluetooth. Very disappointed. Got phone for birthday. Going back to my fitbit
Unfortunately my workouts are not pairing with Strava and when I refresh the page. im greeted with unexpected error. This has been my first issue with Epson
Love the watch but need it to sync with Strava. It stopped last week. Please fix it!
Stopped synching with Strava AGAIN!! Hopeless. Good watch but terrible software. Sort it out Epson. I'll need to by a Garmin
Will not sync to strava - how frustrating! bye bye Epson I am moving back to a Garmin watch.
Pointless. Wouldn't even recognise my log on details or allow me to create a new login. Time to go back to Garmin

Utterly useless. Will not connect my phone and device. Pathetic.
Its ok ish I cant get any of my stuff from samsung s3 or S5 mini over to Strava despite linking both accounts. The watch is brilliant the app needs alot of work. What does no target data mean!
I use Strava so not looking for much from this app. Just need it to transfer data from my watch to Strava which it does. The upload speed needs to be improved over Bluetooth if possible and also the number of button presses to start an upload needs to be reduced to just the one. No need for more.
Can't even register, it isn't even an app
Especially the setup process and graphics. The Bluetooth data sync is extremely slow.
So finally, I just figure it out regarding how to pair the phone with the watch, for me it's SF-810V. You need to enable BT on the phone, enter pairing mode on the watch, then launch this app and perform pairing function WITH IN this app (3 vertical dots at upper right corner of main screen / Pairing)
The watch doesn't even pair with my phone anymore. I have a note 5, and it doesn't pair, but yet it pairs with my s5... ui is painful to navigate, and uploading is almost not worth it.
It says you need Android 6.0.1 where on my phone (Moto E) last released version is 6.0... weird
The functions of watch and app are so limited. There is no wise advice to max the data. You guys need to work harder and learn from peers.
Software folks, need you to actually work. Needs to fix the bugs not your computer desk
When syncing with Strava the activity is no longer private by default as of the 5th of April.
Your English in the UI is terrible, often I don’t have a slightest clue what a specific item might mean. Also uploading must be much easier, not one by one.
This is far too cluttered. It requires stripping right back to a simpler interface. I would say it's not even an app but a Web portal. It's not very intuitive. If you want to see how it should be done, fitbit's app is probably the best I've used. All data on one screen. Simple layout, great user friendly syncing. This app could be so much more.

Won't connect to my HTC M9 phone. For a corporation the size of Epson this is a poor app. Have a GPS watch that can't receive data from
13 Feb 2016 - latest version of the app still has the same issues, so it is impossible to pair the watch to the mobile.... come on Epson!!!! earlier post - Seems to still have issues pairing with Android 5.1 and Smart Lock - My Lenovo P70 will connect one time only and thereafter refuse to link to the watch - EPSON, please fix this bug. Great Watch!!! would be 5 stars if it worked - One nice feature is that uploaded runs can also sync directly to Strava and a few other running apps ( see linked Apps)
Doesn't work with Marshmallow & saying to use 6.0.1 is not a fix as that is something I cannot do until/if the manufacturer releases it for my phone. Please fix this for Android 6.0.
Login ID keeps saying that they don't match when i can see they are exactly the same. So i can't get past the very initial part of this app, nice one.
Bit slow uploading but otherwise everything works as expected
Ended up just deleting the app altogether, might just delete my whole account and be done. Was a good app then I got a new phone and won't let me log in at all! Can log in through the website itself but keeps telling me my ID or password is wrong despite it being the right ones. Love the watch but I don't really want to have to get a new one because of an app
