This is an edit. πAfter the latest update I am now very impressed with the ten band equalizer, bass, virtual and volume increase. The choices of mode cover about every listening option I can think of. The choice of edge lighting is a nice touch also. I highly recommend this app.
I preferred it before the last update, the gui was so much easier and this just seems to be cool but has to regard to the user. It would be nice to give the option to choose, I think you might be surprised at how many or us would choose the one that allowed us the the previous version that gave us more access on less screens.
So glad I found this, I was about to get rid of my buds pro. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND to turn off bass and virtualizer boost. Activate 10 Band Equalizer and don't turn the volume past 105. I like how the gather preset sounds. I'd start there and customize from there.
In the 'Pro' level for the 10-freq adjustment, the displays are inconsistent. I think the bass values should consistently be on the left. And the high frequency/treble on the right. All else is working fine in app.
This app is amazing! The equalizer has added a new clarity to my speakers and headphones. I started with the free version and quickly purchased the pro version. Well worth every cent!
Excellent with nice clean sound from both hi and lows ...Very easy to use and a beautiful looking design , I highly recommend downloading this app... Try it I know you're going to like it.
I have nothing negative to say about this app. It's an equalizer. All I can say is, it's not easy to equalize precisely. But so far the vocal frequency range does its job and the base is not boomy.
NGL, you've actually gotten better with the updates. The inverted multi band EQ is a bit quirky, but, the controls are responsive on Android 11 and 12 thus far. Not too shabby. I'll give you back your other * for now.π ππΎπ·ππΎ
Very very good. Would be perfect if it was possible to change equalizer based on song detected and/or source (bluetooth/speaker/headphones)
Update: 12/2018: After getting a Pixel 3, I reinstalled the paid version. It no longer works consistently if at all. I emailed the developer with no response, which is why I chose to adjust my review. If they respond and fix, I will re-adjust my review. Previous review: A Bass EQ app that actually works correctly! It does reduce the volume a little when turned on, but all apps I've tried do that. My guess is that's how Android works. The correct method for tuning sound systems is reduce unwanted frequencies instead of boosting certain frequencies. Unfortunately, with only 5 bands of EQ available, the reduction is going to be a lot.
Sorry guys, a poor performer for me. I tried it to enhance voices on podcasts for an old guy with typical and normal hearing loss. It just does not do the job. I have used Poweramp for years and its built in equalizer and pre-amp is very good at voice enhancement. This product simply does not compare. Not enough bands or the right bands for voice I guess.
It works well but every time I open Google Voice in a web page the volume drops significantly which is weird.
I bought the Equalizer Pro because I needed the Large Hall effect with the Treble Booster because my Marsche Over-Ear bluetooth headset just has too much bass. It's really good, however, it drops the equalizer effect/adjustment ever so often. What gives? It should maintain the sound adjustment throughout use, not dropping at intervals like this. Hope you fix this bug, Coocent.
I'm really impressed. I can now use my new Bluetooth speakers without getting a migraine from the bass. Thank you very much. 5/5
When the app works it's great, but it seems the latest android up date has either glitched it or it has grown a bug out of nowhere. Will give a better rating when the stops working effect gets remedied Edit: the current reinstall seems to be more stable. I.e., it hasn't crashed or locked up my tablet at the moment (approximately 7+ days).
App used to work perfect on my pocophone. After whatever Update, it no longer shows all the time on my pull down notification menu (only occasionally) and mid song or from song to another it just stops working. It starts again when I open a different music playing app. You guys did something and broke this app. I'm looking for another app.
I like this equalizer/bass boost app, but I been having problems with the bass booster and the virtualizer turning on by itself even when it says it's off. Normally I have to turn them on and back off. By the way if you at ready have bass booster headphones(like me). Do not use bass booster and the virtualizer only use Equalizer. If the issue with the bass booster and the virtualizer gets fixed so it doesn't keep turning on by itself I will update this to 5 stars and will love it.
The new interface is much better than the older one and deserves 5 stars but a huge bug when using the 10 band for sometime, if I pause the music then resume, the sound gets muffled and distracted and only woks properly again after switching to 5 bands then back to the 10 bands again. Please fix this issue.
Bro. Buy it! Just make sure to delete the free version after. Lol i had both pro and free open at the same time just as i cranked up the base. Hopefully more bars will be implimented later.
It's pretty amazing the levels of sound and customisation you can get just using it with Pandora and your vehicle. Works great on my JBL speakers as well. Sometimes the volume isn't as loud when I'm not using the app, but that is more of a equalizer settings adjustment. The bass boost is amazing!
This is just... WOW I've never heard my music sound like this please notify me if you update it but right now this is one of the coolest apps I've ever heard of
Its worth getting the pro version, the price is very reasonable especially when you compare with other apps that do the same exact thing but want you to pay $30 a year or more. Makes my music sound great and I love that I can control and save settings. I would recommend
Great but it reverses the equilizer settings from left to right starting the treble frequencies on the left.
Had some problems but.. luckily there is a solition. If the app doesn't work for you anymore. Like the EQ doesn't do anything. 1. Go to phone settings 2. Apps 3. Permissions. 4. Turn off microphone. Worked for me Update: still pretty buggy, when you go back to spotify, you hear Bass Booster been cut out.
1 star, as when i turn on in-app - volume is reduced dramatically... Am i doing something wrong? **edit** Having used other apps i have come to realise that this may not actually be an issue? What i mean is, when bass is increased it seems that volume is reduced, as an affect. So i will give you guys 4 stars as your app does do what it says, it would be nice if at-all possible you could add an increase Volume slider? Thanks.
Clear sound loud as hell simple interference works well with the streaming apps I use.
So far so good. This is the first time I've used it and I have no complaints yet. I've been using the app for eight hours straight and have not had to go back and forth to reboot the volume like I always had to do with my previous free volume booster that was full of ads and kept interrupting my music listening experience. It's well worth the $2.49 that I spent. π No more ads, what a relief. P.S. My volume level still hasn't dropped while writing this review and listening to music on Spotify .
