Equalizer FX. Pro

This app has the only volume booster on the app store that doesn't completely destroy sound with distortion. Also the only EQ that's tall enough to operate comfortably. I can never thank the dev enough for putting software that actually sounds decent in this EQing app and for keeping its price down to just over a euro, keeping it accessible to everyone. An absolute godsend.

Probably the best Equalizer I've used. I picked this up maybe a year or so ago when it was free and haven't experienced a single issue (on multiple devices). Clean interface, and you can hear how the frequencies change the sound in real time. I highly recommend it though I would check out the free version if you want a try it out and just pay the 99¢ for no ads and such if you like it. The only reason it's 4/5 stars instead of 5/5 is that I haven't been able to have the Equalizer work for YT.

After relocking my phone's bootloader, I really miss Viper4Android. But this app is not bad. It doesn't apply the tweaks on my Oneplus 6 as I change them, sometimes needing to pause and play the music to see a difference, but it's not a big deal. I'd love to see more sliders so we can have even more control over the sound. 5 is not enough. At least 10 would allow for very specific frequency tweaking I hope it'll be considered.

Works well with my Huawei mate 20 pro on android 10. One problem though: when I open spotify it will open a new session, but when I finish listening and close the app, the session is still open. This result in the equalizer (amplifier) not working for all other apps. I have to manually close the session to get it working again. EDIT: If I terminate Spotify, the session is automactically terminated too. Great app!

Update lol...okay so I just noticed that once you pay for the ad removal, you have to select install again. My bad on that one!!! 5 stars! I paid for the ads to be removed but they're still there. I closed all of my apps after the purchase and restarted my phone. Still ads! The app is great and improves the sound on my S20 Ultra beautifully. However if I pay for something I want it to deliver is all. So for now it's 2 stars and a refund I guess.

This is an extremely effective audio equalizer. The only challenge may be figuring out if you can use Automatic On/Off, which is what the developer recommends, or if you have to resort to Global Audio Output Mix. The developer warns that it likely will not work for newer devices and that they do not recommend it, but admits that it's the only solution for some players. My experience is that Global Audio is more reliable when using Equalizer FX Pro with Spotify. YMMV

Simple to use, good amplification, and Hertz separation, to fine tune an audiophile's system while playing music from online sources, via Bluetooth. A few minor touchups and tweaks to it would easily make this a 5 star application. One drawback being the lack of aesthetics, which I find mind boggling, as to why developers would put in what was obviously a ton of effort to create such a good quality app, but no effect into making it look nice when it is in use. Overall a 4.25. fix looks it's 5⭐'s

Incredibile App! It gives me the sensation that I now have a new mobile! I use it to connect to an external speaker. The sound is great and the performance is simply beyond imagination. It's a tiny app that does its job far better than many similar apps out there. Have never been so pleased for buying an app at such an affordable price that works wonders. Thanks.

Overall i like it. Wish I could upgrade to a 10 or 20 band though (i need it for work). Recently though its like it crashes everytime YT music plays a song. I mean it doesn't crahs but the settings don't seem to work. I have to close it from my app drawer and restart it and hope that it works

Hey! I have been using this for a while now and I love this app. Easy to recommend this to someone looking for a great equalizer app. Looking forward to future improvements/new features. My suggestion would be to add a quick toggle either in the quick actions tray or in the actions list when long-pressing the app icon. Definitely not a necessity but would be a nice addition.

Downloaded the free version to deal with my Huawei's rubbish volume levels and wasn't disappointed. Great enhancer that goes beyond any other stabdard phone levels and equalizer is also very effective. Ads were very unintrusive and I can't see what the paid version has that the free one doesn't, but wanted to say thanks for a great service. Well done, guys.

Most Reliable Equalizer app I have found, & I've tried MANY. Consistently works with more app audio sources than others. While this app only allows for adjustment of 5 frequency bands, 5 is enough to dramatically & precisely improve sound based on the room or speakers. It consistently works well with streaming apps & music players using earphones/buds &/or Bluetooth speakers where others claiming more bands often didn't work at all. Paid for "Pro" after extended use of free with ads version.

Only has an effect when I'm mirroring my phone's audio via cast. It does make a significant difference but I feel it's pretty unreasonable for me to have to use audio mirroring and not normal audio casting to speakers/groups as this means I can't use my phone for anything else whilst listening to music, unless I want my notifications and audio from other apps blasting through my speakers.

Superb app! Really loving this Equalizer.But app stops working when clearing recent apps allow app to work everytime in background, i have to open every time to start working again. Request:-Please add profiles option so that when user connect through Bluetooth, headphones, wired speakers, etc. profile activates automatically according to connection.

Initially seemed very good. Just what I wanted. Then after buying it it stopped working completely. Nothing I did, after much research could resolve the issue. Perceived wisdom seemed to be that Android Audio Tunneling seems to make life very difficult for all Equaliser Apps. Perhaps a design which can circumvent this will be the way forward? My problems may have started as a result of the April update to Pie. (Running Android One on HTC U11 Life.) Still looking - hope you get it sorted as i like it.

Poor app. It doesn't work when audio is played. One has to try many times: shut down the music app, open the equalizer app and then reopen the music app to check it equalizer is working. Very frustrating. Very much waste of time and money. There is no support link in app.

I got the free version and that worked fine. So I paid for the pro version as I thought the developer deserved it. However the 'Pro' version does not appear to make any difference to the sound using Amazon Music to my bluetooth speaker on my OnePlus 6. Disappointing.

After switching to the OnePlus 6t and finding out the built in EQ options were subpar I went to XDA to find an app to replace it. Read several threads and found this app recommended highly and I can now understand why! It is amazingly battery efficient considering it is always on and the EQ settings are great.

Fixes the bad audio with Huawei phones when on aptx Bluetooth headphones. No more crappy audio. Only thing is that it switches off before another song plays. It will drop the audio for a second. A part from that, I like how much control I have.

Works great and flawessly with LGV20 (KT Korean version on Pie firmware) and BOSE S1 PRO. The sound is wow and all functions are working excellently. Does not work with my TAB S 10.5. There probably is a "handshake" issue with certain devices. So try the free app to determine what devices work with it! Keep is up Dev!

Worked great till Amazon Music kept rolling out constant updates now this app has no effect on the sound whatsoever for that app and I PAID for this app because the trial version worked good but with ads. It is probably too late for a refund and there obviously must not be any support or plans for a future update as the last update was in 2018.

Just changed my cell to xiaomi note 9 pro from redmi 5 plus. Imagined my suprise when finding out snapdragon audio+ not available on my new phone. After trying and comparing with other equalizer apps, your app is the most on par with snapdragon audio+. Thank you for saving my ear from listening bad audio.

Works as advertised! Great equalizer for boosting the sound quality of your Android device! Ran into an issue with the settings turning off while music is playing or switching bluetooth headphones.

Nice equalizer works well with google play music. The sound enhancer really does give the music a clean boast. The bass is deeper and cleaner. Would off been 5 stars but doesn't always turn off when you stop the music. ;)

Amazing piece of work it tones down when it kicks but this is to it's advantage in so much as you hear it's effect far more clearly. The bass frequency is also a big improvement on many other competitive because of how controlled it is.

Out of the several music equalizers i have had a chance to install and put into test, fx pro is outstanding be it sound quality,stability,interface,tuning,clarity and easy to use. Thanks for the developer.

Upgraded my phone (OnePlus 5 to OnePlus 7 Pro) and I redownload the app and the bass boost is no longer a part of the app making the equaliser useless to me. Fix this immediately please or provide a refund. Edit: incorrect. Other poorer equaliser apps have a functioning bass boost, so what it actually means is that you have not updated/optimised the app to work with the newest phones

It really has improved the speaker sound of my nexus 6p. However when I plug in headphones or any aux cord the sound sounds like I'm in a cave. I'd love a feature that turns it off automatically when the aux jack is used.
