Equalizer Pro

Excellent equilizer for OLDER Android machines. The app was updated last in 2013 and should be considered abandoned. It simply does not work with newer Android systems. For example it works great with Spotify on an old Motorola Droid Maxx running on Android 4, but does NOT work at all with Spotify on a Samsung Galaxy Note 4 running on Android 6. The newer Android has its own sound-handling system which includes a 5-band equilizer among other things, and it overrides this app.

App is no longer reliable...at least from what I observe on my tablet. EQ setting revert to an odd, bass deficient setting/curve...despite my creating a custom setting. I had just completed a dual sub, dual passive radiator monstrocity that appaeared deficient, despite careful calculations. After a long period of time, I recall having this app, and to my surprise, thd settings had reverted to some deficient bass, perhaps techno-preferred setting. Unreliable. Uninstalling.

Installed on LG V30. Android 8.0. Only seems to work reliably when using the built in player. For system wide eq it is not reliable. Appears to work on Android pie

Great application for leveling your music at different ranges. Awesome bass boost! Very cool application.

Very slow in updating super slow. i think they totally forgot about this. took the money and ran. what we need is a punisher.

doesn't tell you it won't work with Android 9 until you've bought it? Hmmmm! it always seems to be something!

Since the last Android update, doesn't work anymore.

Woohhh.... work for Huawei Mate 20pro ( Android P ) and stream Mixcloud. Good app.

It's OK for NOW

A necessary purchase to correct some ridiculously bass-heavy headphones. The ad supported version is just as effective as this, but the ads took up to much space in landscape view, hence the purchase. Alas, I've come to expect more features from a four bucks purchase. No widget. No updates in years. Suggestion from other reviews that it ain't stable for everybody. Worth two bucks if that. Looking forward to the day this feature is built in to android.

On Android 5.0, whenever this eq is activated, after any sound stops, theres a high screeching noise. I've tried several other eq apps, and it only happens with this one. I understand that tje lollipop os is still a dev preview, but you might like to take a look into it, as there are 2 weeks till the official lollipop launches. When fixed, i will gladly change to 5

This is really a great app. I have tried many equalizer/enhancer apps and this is the best. The only problems I see are inability to save settings and when you have a small screen, it is almost impossible to scroll the equalizer left and right without moving some equalizer bars. Makes it VERY difficult to adjust. There should be a handle that you can drag to move it without changing equalizer bars. If theses items can be fixed I will change to 5 stars. Is this app still being developed? I am getting a refund and I can't use the free version because add makes equalizer bars so short, it is very difficult to adjust.

Best equalizer for non rooted devices. Very close to viper4android. Bass does not go as deep as v4a neither trebles go as high. But that's not required for everyone. I am able to tweak the 10 band equalizer to get a very balanced and clean audio on my phone.

Can you guys make the virtualization echo through the voice, bass and not just the instruments. It would sound really good if it did. I move the slider and it only echos the instruments and barely makes the voice and bass echo. It makes it sound kinda off and scary.

Bass boost doesn't work with Huawei Mate 10 Pro. However, it works fine with Samsung Note 8. Otherwise, this app is perfect. Please fix the bug. Thanks.

This app is a really good equalizer if you know what your doing. It amplifies bass and everything your looking for. Believe me, I saw it on a sale and it is definitely a pretty good sound app. Love the ten equalizer modes

After I updated to oreo the bass boost does not work. I have cleared cash and app data and reinstalled the app

The volume decreases when its on. That's why one would pay for any equalizer to not have this happen Too basic an app for what you pay. I'd like a refund but don't even want to bother. Useless app

It would be good if I didn't have to make a phone call to make it loud enough to hear.

problems with sound quality. volume becomes decreased making useless for movies my systems os is 5.1

I use Spotify 90 % of the time for music . Great eq . not best looking and hard to a just as when scrolling tend to move sliders but sound great . If volume a problem (device's now have volume set at max safe level ) I use an amp which is smaller than the phone for headphone . No need for that in the car sound great .

From what equaliser apps that doesn't require root I have tried so far, this is the best.

It was best buy have started crashing every now and then.. No update coming since months
