The app will not make high quality audio better but it does make good audio better. I watch a lot of old TV shows and the audio is ancient. No Dolby or stereo even! This app does well in bringing out a better quality sound and gives more life to the programs. On YouTube it changes the audio but for me it does not improve it. Works on Pandora and another radio app I use. Different audio systems respond differently and so do our ears. So, cannot go wrong giving it a try.
the app itself is pretty good. it does work and allows for adjustment and better sound quality with my bluetooth speakers. I would give it 5 stars for that. the problem is the push ads every 15 minutes or so are so annoying I'm uninstalling the app. they interrupt everything I'm doing so it's time to say goodbye.
The app doesn't make the volume louder at all. The only thing that it has is the ability to make the bass double sacrificing every other sound, but it really does double it it doesn't go into your settings and simply up that bass u can double it on your settings and in the app and there is a clear effect. It also has the 3d mode(virtual effect) It really works, also has the virtual( 3d sound) it really works and at least in my phone there isn't such a thing in settings. The other thing that has is the normal presets such as , classic,rock and about 5 more but most phones come with those in the audio settings. Basically only virtual and bass boost really work.
This one really works. Other reviews attest to that. READ THIS! When I was young, an audiophile told me to be sure the volume was always set to zero and that any equalizer and pre amp was nullified and off. Then power up each, beginning with the receiver. Start the source, then up the volume. That advice saved me from blown speakers and eardrums. The same approach should be applied here. I've had no problem.
I actually enjoy the app. It makes great sound adjustments, although it tends to lower the sound in a way that makes but it difficult to readjust at times. But I'm interrupted by full screen ads no matter what I'm doing even if the app isn't in use. It's become too annoying to deal with.
simple interface easy use it's like an old school EQ with a few extras. I'm an older guy so I remember when he chews were around in this is so simple the only thing I can find that's a bit annoying is you can't shrink its size other than that it's a beautiful product great app it offers presets or custom and it's very simple to get through try it you have nothing to lose!!
After opening the equalizer app and applying settings you can then switch to an internet browser app and go to YouTube and play your music videos while the equalizer app runs in the background. This is great. My problem is when you run this setup and play a video in your browser, you can access the equalizer from the slide down menu at the top of your screen without interrupting the video. In this screen you should be able to change the size of the equalizer app window and amongst other things.
The equalizer itself is high quality but i wish it had an option to save custom presets, as well as a memory that would automatucally bring up the setting it was last on. Bc it does not come with this feature, You have to reset it every time you close and reopen the app.
When I increase the high frequencies, the volume goes down and visa versa. The opposite of what I would expect. The 3.6 kHz band would probably be better centered at 2.7 kHz which is the resonant frequency of the ear. Earbud manufacturers will boost this frequency to compensate for loss of canal resonance and may not provide the correct amplification, so an adjustment here would be more desirable than one at a higher frequency.
It didn't really work, if at all. It gave me ads when the app was closed, and when I tried to delete it my phone didn't give me the option. It did, however give me the option to remove it from my home screen. So I did, hoping it would do something. It still kept showing ads, but didn't show up with my other apps not on my home screen. I had to open the play store and find it on there, all the while getting interrupted by ads. I finally found it, and I'm here to warn you do not download this app.
I am actually impressed with this. Generally these eq's are gimmicks and sound like garbage.Then again u can have a top of the line 31 band eq, and when controlled by the guy that only makes smiley faces with the frequency sliders, well they can sound even worse! Fortunately this eq does a really nice job. Go to one of the presets and tweak it to your taste. Simplicity. Its a beautiful thing!
I have never said this before about ANY sound boosting/equalizer app, but this is THE best equalizer app I have ever worked with! The virtualisation knob brings so much PRESENCE into the music that it honestly sounds as if I'm listening to an expensive piece of equipment instead of a free version of an app. And DO.NOT. get me started on the bass boosting feature: now THAT'S BASS!!! So far, I ADORE this app. I give it the full FIVE STARS!!
This equalizer really makes my stock stero sound like I installed a system in my car. I dig all the variety of dials too. There is a decent variety of pre set sound settings that also make the app easy to customize. The only issue I have is when I turn on full screen, it freezes.
eq pro + bass is ok doesnt amp the volume but does allow control of 5 different pitches to get a better sound experience. i use this app with a volume boost app for maximum performance. there is a problem when trying to save a custom preset, the app changes the custom settings to random settings not allowing your custom settings to save.
Equalizer settings don't stay in effect from one song to the next when using a streaming music service (Pandora, iHeart Radio, etc.). It's necessary to turn the equalizer off and back on again to re-engage the equalizer settings.
Good stuff so far. It really pushes the volume. I have to be cautious with it while using it on my Bose system. I've set the volume limiter on my phone to keep from doing any real damage. If the developer could add a volume limiter that would be excellent.
the app works.. does what it is supposed to do, however it has so many ads and pop up windows every time you hit the home button on your phone its unusable... I understand the reason for ads. I get that its a free app and you have to make money somehow. there are ways to do that without making it so intrusive!
I bought expensive brand "truly wireless" ear buds with an app that had an equalizer. The headphones produced a tinny sound, not loud enoughand the eq did nothing to help. Then I bought inexpensive, brandless buds and Equalizer Pro. The buds are a little better and this EQ Pro allows me to have excellent full sound (heavy bass included, when desired) for music and a clean even sound for podcasts!
It's a great app except for the fact that you have to allow them to access your microphone to be able to record. Why? Do they want to record us fart when my phone's in my back pocket or just the very secret conversations with my 4 other personalities? We don't like when they do that...it makes #3 angry and then all 5 of us suffer. I may be forced to delete this app and find a better EQ. I'll have to see how #3 takes it, he is quite irrational but that keeps us safe.
it works great for me I have Samsung soundbar with sub. the sub sounds great but this gives a great bump. it's only app I have every worked for sound. small ads at bottom screen sont bother me at all. people put great amount of work into apps. always think could have days of hard work into a app.
Worked great for the first week, now not one single widget works. I have tested all the available widgets on different pages of my home screen and when you press them, nothing happens. UPDATE: I uninstalled and reinstalled, cleared cash, force stopped. It works for about a day and then literally does nothing.I am uninstalling and getting another EQ
Do NOT use this app! shortly after I started using this a "boost" app started popping up several times a day (on home screen), that read it was "optimizing my phone" and sending spam ad's. Deleting it stopped the pop-up's. also while trying to figure out what was causing this I received several scammer calls. SHADY
Works better than any of the other equalizer apps I have tried, but considering it can't make it through a single song without crashing, makes it kind of pointless. I gave 2 stars instead of 1 because they are doing something right, because the adjustments are noticeable, most apps don't work at all. I'll just stick with the equalizer in the settings of my Note 10+, which is actually quite nice, can set per ear.
