It works like it is supposed to once you get your phone to identify it by Bluetooth. The app. has all these instructions telling you the hard way to do things. The easy way is simply to drag the screen down like you do on any other app. to update info and it will upload all your BP pressure info and tabulate it on an ongoing basis. As for the hard way, that works too, but it's like all things that use Bluetooth it can be slow and sometimes not respond. The simple way avoids all that, just drag the screen down and forget the rest.

App used to work amazing. Now after the latest update it no longer allows me to use the app to begin a blood pressure ready. I have to manually enter the BP reading after I initiate it on the cuff itself. So much for ease of use Bluetooth. Not the most efficient. Most times I can't get the app to load fast enough to record the readings. So I have to start a whole new reading.. Then I can record it.

It works I was a little concerned at first when I read some reviews that said it would not connect via Bluetooth. Well this is not so with my phone it doesn't connect like a headset or a stereo. It's more of an invisible connection from what I can tell but it does connect it did download my readings into my phone he gave you an average over the last 4 days.

Terrible app! Extremely unresponsive to touch input (i.e., it takes 10-20 attempts at tapping/swiping to get anything on the screen to respond), there is no way to see a list of all the readings that have been taken (you have to TRY to swipe through the list of readings at the top), and it simply WILL NOT share the results to any external source. The "Share" button is as unresponsive as the "close door" button on an elevator. This horrible app renders a very overpriced BP cuff nearly useless!

Took a little time to set up and learn the function but I really like the unit. Great for sharing results with the Doctor using your cell phone. So far it works every time using the phone. Important note; do not try to set up near a TV, too much interference. Overall, a great product.

Not a good sign when the app's description is "Description". The monitor itself seems to be nice quality, same it's ruined by this novice app. If they would just let you sync with other apps like Samsung Health directly the BP monitor would be greatly improved. Worst part of the app is that it doesn't let you see a list of past measurements, and the graph is next to useless since the max of the graph is stuck at 300mmHg, making your measurements squished in the middle.

FYI, for those having issues getting your phone to connect to your cuff. Ensure you clicked to ALLOW access to GPS, I spent hours setting it up on the wife's phone S9 and getting frustrated with my Note 9. Needless to say once I updated the permissions it connected right away. Instructions could have shared that little tidbit and saved me hours. Overall we are happy with the cuff...setup, that's another story!

This app is highly unreliable. Won't start the device (take a measurement) half the time and over a week ago just stopped working completely. Won't pair to device or take measurement now. Tried all the basic troubleshooting methods...none worked. Uninstalled and reinstalled the app...now trying to get it to pair and re-establish my user account. Very frustrating.

App is okay, I guess, except for everything external to the app (lawyers). Forced to move to the "new" app. It downloads the the cuff off line measurements though that info is not easily found. I could not locate it. I have no idea what the legalez "contract" says, it would require an a lawyer. My data was private in the old version. I'm sure that is not the case now. Near as I can tell, there is no guest mode. Beware if not aware. Grammer, mispsellings, etc are there for your amusement.

Not enough instructions to pair unit with Bluetooth device, I turned Bluetooth on both the unit and my device, never got a pairing indication at if you tap the start switch on the monitor it goes right into test mode, can sign the system says my email address (both) are registered, but i request forgot password is says my email Isn't registered, I use this same dashboard with AnD meter, other then the app shutting down never had a problem signing in.

Poorly written app that does not work. I got the app to pair with my Samsung Note 8. When I go to the dashboard it shows the monitor is detected, but the app locks up and will not activate the cuff, the menu does not work, and neither does the exit.

I wish I could rate 0 stars. The only thing this app is good for is checking if bluetooth on my device works. It will NOT register anything. I've tried numerous times, and have NEVER seen the "take measurement" screen/button. TOTALLY WORTHLESS

what I would like to know is how do you sign in. My 'email address is invalid', 'already registered', 'Use another ID'. depends how many times I have restarted my phone. Pairing was ridiculous and now I cannot sign into my chart ! I am taking this one back to the store, Hopefully there are others out there that do not require quite so much and frustration time to setup

It is paired but won't connect. App has no info on my Dashboard, and Device Setup simply keeps saying how to charge it (it's already charged). Cuff works fine. App 100% useless so far. I have a Samsung Note 9.

This app was written by a novice and lacks functionality. There are no good instructions for pairing, or use... the interface is amateurish, and there are little to no settings for personalization or information tracking.

Finished downloading so I clicked open. Went to set up an account & when finished entering info the app stops working!? I've tried a couple different things & found I got it to work but only when signed in as a guest so not sure if it will save my readings? Pretty frustrating!!

gmail is not a valid email??? can't create an account because it doesn't accept gmail. had to connect bluetooth as guest and doesn't update even though it's paired.. I see others are loving this app too (Not..). please update this thing, should never had been released

I was able to pair the app with my device without any issues. However, going back to the app, I cannot take by blood pressure through it. The buttons DO NOT WORK. Unacceptable. Will be uninstalling.

have to say from the stand point of a IT geek....this is a pretty poorly developed app. and the documentation isn't much better. I am using a google pixel 3 so that could be part of it but it is still Android software!

Got the Equate 8500 Series Blood Pressure Monitor. When I downloaded the app it won't give me the option to continue as a guest or register. The only option is to sign in, but how can I sign in if I can't even register??? Not worth it. Taking it back.

App screen is not formatted for Samsung S7 characters. It overwrites character's above them. It doesn't know the date and doesn't let me reset it. It says the date is says January 1st 2017, but it's January 26 2019

Unable to connect BP monitor to this app. Called customer service, he said "Just a minute while I look it up." At 7:00 I was disconnected. I called back and received a recorded message, "...customer service closes at 7 PM. I returned the Merchandise. Both the app and cust service sucked.

I so wanted this to work. I have Samsung 7S and LG TABLET. Bought the Equate UA-8500WM wireless blood pressure monitor at Walmart $70. Downloaded the Equate Heart Chart from PlayStore. Seemed overly simple and worked for first two reads. Now, less the 24 hrs later, it won't connect over Bluetooth. Cuff starts the moment I turn it on. Wish it would wait until I am ready and bluetooth is veified. Numerious error readings too. I plan to delete the Apps and return to Walmart. Doctor suggested OMRON.

(UA-8500WM) Premium Upper Arm BPM device doesn't connect to the Motorola Z4. Stays in visitor mode only. Read the instructions and packaging several times, even tried the reset button. Doesn't work as described on package or instructions so it's returning to Walmart.

Works 100%. One review of this app had a reply from the "developer" directing to another app that is VERY intrusive with ads and does NOT work with the BP cuff. Use this app. It's the one Walmart recommends and works perfectly.

I give this product -5 stars. ive tried it on 5 different divices both Ios and android even buying a new phone and Down loadind the app only to find it still doesnt work. Im done with equate. I will never buy another equate product again!!!!!!!!
