After installing this app onto my phone I opted to not share location. For some reason, you do have to share location, so I chose only while app is opened. Then I couldn't get it to connect/sync to the device until I turned on wifi. Once I turned on wifi it synced with no problem. To get the 2nd user info from the device I had to change user on the device and then press the Bluetooth button to add the 2nd user info into the app. Sharing the data (I only used email): It will only send the data for the "current user" in the app. That worked fine. However, the data that it sends shows Diastolic then Systolic figures. It should be the other way around, showing Systolic then the Diastolic.. I will rate this a 4 because of the issues I've mentioned. Fix the directions to say you have to have wifi turned on on your phone and you must use location before it will sync with the machine.

This app is complete garbage. It won't update my readings. I have pressed the Bluetooth button at least a dozen times and yet the app does nothing to add my current readings. I'm getting pretty frustrated with this app since I have to use it with my blood pressure meter. I'm going to uninstall this terrible app and buy a better machine.

I like the app and connected device. App feature request... it'd be great to be able to delete readings history. Either individually or in 30/60/90 day increments.

This app works as promised. It is very beneficial to have a digital record to provide to your doctor. I would recommend this Blood Pressure monitor & app to family & friends.

It works OK, but some areas are poorly programmed, or even unfinished; like they forgot to set/create icon for the notification area: when notifications go off, sometime you get a blank dark square, sometime it looks like nothing is there, because the icon is entirely white on a white background. Also there is a big amount of screen estate wasted to the point that only one line of data at the time it's visible. ... And more... Anyway, just few fix and it could be a 3 - 4 stars app... Let's see

I was given this item as a gift because I have ADHD and this has Bluetooth capabilities which makes my life easier when I need to look back on my blood pressure because of the medication I am taking. However the sync feature isnt working at all. The person that had it before me never used the sync or Bluetooth feature so she didn't know. Now this is pretty much a heavy paperweight until I can find a device that works with Bluetooth. Walmart you've let me down twice today. :(

This will not sync to the device. It will not allow you to manually sync but rather tells you must use the app to sync. Since the app is worthless it is a catch 22. It looks like I am deleting the app and returning the blood pressure monitor to the store. I can save 80% and get one than doesn't sync or share data. Save yourself, time money and frustration, don't bother with the app or the blood pressure monitor.

Bluetooth would not sync for many minutes because I chose to deny location which is required to work with bluetooth! it is as difficult to change readings for the other person on the phone. Cannot share readings to another person using the machine. needs an overhaul to make it easier to sync. No need for location requirement unless you are capturing personal data.

Can't add second user,even when there is user 2 data in the unit. Can't delete synced reading, if I accidentally synced other user readings. The autosync feature doesn't work a majority of the time. App promises a lot,delivers little. Not being able to add 2nd user has been issue since Jan 2019! Fix it! Keep it simple, let me sync Bluetooth myself and select readings to sync. Forget the autosync. Useless if it doesn't work most of time.

The app does not sync to the device. It's completely useless. I have Bluetooth turned on on my phone and Bluetooth turned on on the device. The app says it can't locate it. I've gotten it to sync readings maybe twice in 2 months so I know it should work in theory but this app is complete and utter garbage. Don't waste your time.

I have 2 main complaints about this app. 1. Once data is entered or uploaded to the app it cannot be changed or deleted. It imported 1 of user 2's info to user 1 but could not delete it...was locked. Then I manually entered one that didn't sync and miss entered the time..again.... locked. Uurrgh! 2. Share feature is not working. If you try to email to Dr. you just get a blank message... no data or file. These are some of the reasons I purchased the Bluetooth unit. I hope they fix it soon or it will be going back. Checking accuracy with Dr. tomorrow.

Equate 8000 Series is great; very easy to understand & use. My only complaint / issue is about the app itself. Device uses a switch to maintain 2 separate Users - easily synced (via Apple / Android apps). HOWEVER, it would be AWESOME to SAVE 3 or more family members using MANUAL option for "uploading" their readings. ** Perhaps this can be done?? I know other apps have that ability with their respected devices.** Overall, VERY SATISFIED, with this (purchase of machine) and FREE app.

The app no longer syncs with Bluetooth the last couple of days. It says it needs location settings turned on, which I do. Why does it need my location anyways? The app is pretty basic. I wish it had a login that backs up the data. All I've been doing is sending it to a spreadsheet and merging which is kind of a pain.

Update: 05/31/21 Still having issues with synchronization of app and BP meter. Update: 10/27/2020. Again...took out batteries and put them back in. The bp monitor immediately synced with the app! Yay! (Previous review: Working well until few days ago. Now app will not synchronize (sync) Android phone with the Equate bp device. Uninstalled app and re-installed to see if it improved connectivity and still will not connect.)

I am so irritated with this app!! I just purchased this monitor 2 days ago and have not been able to sync the app to my Samsung S9. I called Equate's 800 # and all they can tell me is return the monitor as it maybe a glitch in the monitor. Well I just left the store and I still couldn't sync the new monitor to the App. I deleted the app and reinstalled. my phone location is on and it still will not sync. It won't let me get passed typing my name. There's no access to the app. Very FRUSTRATING!!

it requires a location function which is totally unnecessary for my purposes and can only be used for their marketing and snooping purposes. There's no reason Bluetooth transmission requires location. ... I stand corrected. Thanks for your help. I am changing my rating from 1 * to 4 *. RB

Does not sync properly. I was able to sync readings ONE TIME and have not been able to get it to sync at all since then. This defeats the whole purpose of my purchase in the first place and I will be returning the BP device, since there are better ones out there with apps that actually work.

works great with samsung s8+. it was tricky figuring out the first upload but once you do it, it works perfect. very helpful having info on phone to send to dr. to use...turn on your phones bluetooth, take a BP reading. once it's done it will sync to phone. then just hit accept button on phone (in the app) and you are done.

I First thought the Bluetooth function didn't work. I was very pissed because it doesn't attach itself to your mobile bluetooth device like other traditional bluetooth devices do. You don't see it attach itself. You must first follow the app prompts. It does everything through the app. We tried it again for the 5th try. It did work. The start button is not labled correctly. And the so called start button "Power Button" works differently when attached through the bluetooth vs the using it manual

Used to work great. I got a new phone and it won't sync. I try to put in new readings and the app won't take them. I have erased all memory from my monitor, changed batteries, uninstall and reinstalled the app and it still doesn't work. I add to my health app now since this app is a joke to be nice. App is completely useless and pointless.

My first reviw. Monitor is very good!!! App not every time work. But measure is correct. Thank you. My second review after one monthof use. Monitor stopped to connect the smartphone. I deleat app and then install again. No connection. E3 - this is on display . So, as monitor it is not so good. Application probably well. Equipment is trash because of bad assembling parts.

App does not pick up b.p. Readings all the time thru Bluetooth n says to enter manual but if it does pick up and post whether automatic or manual, the readings are not in chronological order. I was sent a NEW b.p. machine plus TWO TIMES $10 and $20 gift card from Walmart. I was told though that the problem could be the app. Who can fix this? UPDATE: 1/14/2021 SECOND b. p. monitor...This time around monitor doesn't sync most of time and screen is sometimes black though you can hear recorded voice

App terrible with date/time, returning monitor which I liked. With Equate 8000 series. 1. Dates/times terrible on app. All minutes started showing as 01, now 02. Now DATE & TIME ARE WRONG. 2. In share, the Systolic should be in the .csv BEFORE the Diastolic. 3. Have to unsync my phone from another bluetooth device to get it to sync.
