Equation Solver is an app that can solve for one variable in any equation, it is extremely versatile and a must for anyone in school or anyone that deals with equations on a daily basis.
Please note all variables must be lowercase!
Functions supported:+, -, *, /, ^ (exponent), sin, cos, tan, asin, acos, atan, sqrt (square root), abs (absolute value), ln, log
Instead of depending on hard coded formulas, Equation Solver finds the answer through a brute force method. This allows the app to solve for all sorts of problems in a relatively short amount of time!

Would be nice if variable names could be more than one character in length, so they can be more descriptive. Adding capital characters would be nice too. It now treats the characters in a name as individual variables to be multiplied. I would rater add de multiply sign to allow longer names.
Does exactly what it needs to!! Everyone who says it won't solve, just remember to put x= in front of the equation - it even says that in the tutorial. Please don't uninstall because you don't understand it! You can save your equation, only thing missing is pi.
It's great but I have a slight problem, we have some equations in which we need to find x without knowing all the other variables (example: a=? p=2(a+b))
won't do basic distributive property which was the only reason I got the app and the addition multiplication division and subtraction signs are kinda small but this isint a equation solver because it couldnt even solv for x like other calculators tried to do the problem was fairly simple test problem it was 8(d-5)+12 but it couldnt manage it said it was not a equation so yeah bad app uninstalled
Indeed this is the perfect app one can use for solving equations. Does what it has to,I'm highly satisfied with it. I highly recommend this app to everyone
This app does exactly what I need it to do. It's easy to edit my formulas when I need to. It's very easy to use.

A simple 5 variable equation x=((d*(1+b))*(1+r))*(1-c)+((d*(1+b+e))*(1+r))*c) is taking forever to solve.... Wow
Not a very nice app and also gives wrong answers of the equations
It checks values from -1000 to 1000. If your answer is out of this domain, then don't install this app. Nevertheless, since it serves my purpose, I'm happy to give it 5 stars.

Handy as heck!
I use this app at work multiple times a day. It lets me save our formula and easily plug In multiple variables to find my 'x' without having to edit every instance manually. For long formulas, this is a massive time saver that no other math app does.. only complaint is that when you go to save a new equation, the drop down menu that lets you choose which variable to solve for is covered up by the keyboard in portrait view. Also a dark theme would be nice. I hope you are doing well.
