Sometimes I need to turn data off/on in order to login. Doesn't accept pdf attachments, only pictures so I have to waste time and convert. Sometimes I have issued logging in on weekends. I'd give it 2 stars for the inconvenience, but at least it can accomplish it's main task despite of jumping through hoops.
This app is excellent. Been using this app for several years now. I no longer have a small pile of receipts to deal with every 3 months. It literally takes 1 minute (once you practice a couple times). I do it right in the practitioner's office before I leave. Customer service by Bridget is fantastic! She runs a tight ship.
Used to be able to just take a picture of my receipt and hit send. Now I have to fill out a bunch of information and shuffle through pull down boxes etc. Also can't attach pdf documents/receipts that have been emailed to me from my practitioner. Also took me multiple tries to log in as for some reason my password was not being recognized, and I had to reset it multiple times.
Mostly positive experiences using the app! My one issue to offer feedback for improvement is that it can be difficult to have my provider populate in. Only a few choices pop up, and one of my providers has moved 3 times. Instead of her old addresses being updated to her current or deleted, they will populate into choices and her current locale is left off! My rating is great, but it should be easier to choose your provider. Thanks
Easy and quick to submit, but would be even better if you could select to submit multiple claims to the same practitioner so you don't have to type/search/select that every time when doing multiple receipts for things like physio.
There are a lot of steps to complete claims. There should be a save feature for frequently used providers instead of searching each time. I also dislike that my coverage has to be opened in a website vs directly in the app.
Not as easy as my employer's previous insurer. With previous insurer I only had to submit a photo, then I wouldn't even have to answer any more questions, including cost. I'm still not sure if I answered some questions correctly. I want to submit a claim to many wife's insurer to claim the balance not covered by Equitable. I just don't have the time to figure that out.
App logs in fine but can't access pdf's of invoices only pictures. Causes me to have to either take screen shots or print my invoice then take a picture. Ended up using the website as it allows you to upload documents
Biometric sign-in works well on my device. However, can not submit a PDF version of the claim document which my service provider sends. Need to open the PDF, take a screenshot with the phone so it saves as a picture, then the picture can finally be attached to the claim. Why can't the app accept PDF files?
Only allows image files as back up. Totally inconvenient when you receive pdfs as your receipt or EOB from another provider. Also awful for coordinating benefits with another provider. I have to submit my EOB every time even after they already recieved one showing my benefits have run out for the year. The most cumbersome provider I've worked with as a secondary.
My only wish is that I could select files from the app instead of only pictures. The app is so much easier to use that I use it instead of the web interface through a computer. Take a picture, send, done.
Most (80%+) attempts to upload expenses fail( I've uploaded 15 or so expenses). Best bet is to try again later. Last time it failed I tried to use their support - 13 days later they suggested uninstalling and reinstalling the app. The result is that I was never reimbursed for my expense, here we go again.
It works, however it did not bring any of our settings or information across from our actual policy so everything had to be entered manually. It's quick, and doesn't crash very often on Android.
Used to have more data pre-filled. Now, so much information needs to be re-entered that should already be there - like coordination of benefits with a spouse who also has coverage through Equitable... his plan# and certificate# need to be entered again... every single time. And even when you enter all the information, the coordination is missed and requires a phone call or email to get it sorted. Also no memory of frequently used practitioners. These would be so easy to program in...
Submitting my claim was very easy and quick. Hopefully, it will be the same to get my money back. What to improve is the uploading system: for now it is recognising only pictures while I had my documents in a pdf format. Otherwise, it is really easy and fast even the customer service assistance. I enjoyed
Works great! Biometrics sign in works well and I have been getting reimbursed quickly after submitting claims. The only thing that is annoying is that one of my covered benefits does not appear when selecting treatment type (Athletic Therapy).
Increasing amount of personal and practice information required to file. Seems to be wanting to increase the difficulty in filing to decrease use. App using out of date and harder to use controls and UX. Many required features redirect to Web sit not really navigable on phone.
The app won't accept my login credentials and when I click "forgot password or username" it says it sent me an email to update my info, but I haven't received any emails from them. I would like to check my investment portfolio using the app, insteading of login into the website every time.
It'd be nice if you could upload the actual pdfs of receipts instead of a screenshot of one. Although it still works either way, just feels a bit odd. Other than that it's pretty good.
App is a bit clunky - a really annoying thing about submitting claims via phone is that it'll only let you submit a photo of your receipt, so if you have a pdf you got by email, say, it won't let you attach it. I end up having to screenshot pdfs to attach.
Useful for my own claims, awfully tedious for any of my partner's claims. Coordination of benefits information is repetitive and there's no autofill or "remember" for the information. The process is way too manual considering they have all of the info on file already.
Decent. But doesn't allow pdf only images which requires more steps to submit. It also has no options to save settings or past submission configurations which makes submissions time consuming.
Easy to use. Love being able to send a photo of a receipt without having to enter all the info manually. Would be even better if I could attach PDFs as well as image documents.
Couldn't attach a pdf, tried multiple times. No error message, just didn't work. Had to take a screenshot of the pdf and attach the picture.
Very user friendly app, easy to submit claims. The only reason for 4 stars and not 5, is because it limits you to upload/submit only image files and doesn't let you attach PDF documents.
Have to enter manually all the info on the receipt you take a picture. Have to search for and choose the same provider for each receipt. Should be able to save the provider you always use for the service. Used to be a much more user friendly app.
Terrible app. Doesn't show what your coverage actually covers. Keeps telling you to refer to the booklet that refuses too link you towards. Went from greatwest life to this budget insurance. Can't submit a long receipt. Can't submit a pdf file.
Like it, very handy and easy to use. However it can be glitchy which is annoying as it's submitted duplicate claims in error a few times 😐 a bug fix would be nice 🙂
It works well but can be very tedious when submitting multiple documents. Myself and two family members are on my Equitable plan. Would be nice if the app remembered frequently used practitioners, expense amounts, etc. or allowed multiple submissions of the same type (like three Chiropractic sessions for example).
This app USED to work very well.... Now it is completely USELESS... BIOMETRICS sign-in does not work at all... recognizes but doesn't register.... AND it is impossible to now attach or upload a photo with being booted out of the APP CONSTANTLY.. to the point where I cannot even use the APP at all anymore. For a while you could make multiple attempts and the photo "might" attach but not anymore. I have now reverted to the somewhat slow desktop version.
