I didn't make it past the first level. One minor irritant was the darkening if the screen and the tapping finger when trying to read from screen to screen. Get off my back. I can figure out to click once I have finished reading. What caused me to uninstall the game were the horrid scenario choices. The "correct" answers are painfully obvious. No thought required. No introspection. No point. This game is trying to do something important, but needs a good revamp.

A fun, albeit short, game. There is room for improvement. While the story exercises offer practical application for the concepts being discussed, there are a few ways they could be improved. In the sequence with Nana when they are texting, the chat bubbles are on the opposite side from where they are usually placed in English-speaking countries. Also, the second story presents an antiquated example that will likely not resonate with younger users. It's a good concept, though. Thank you!

This is a great, engaging app using fun scenarios. I have recommended it to two of my friends. However, I do think that the skills lessons aren't presented in the most accessable language. Still, it's great information There are also a few goofs in the library section-- a few areas need proofreading, and the second and fifth items in the last column are broken, i think.

This is a fun way to learn with unique storylines allowing practice with the skills being learned. However I feel rushed by the pointing hand. After the first few times, I think it's easy to understand that I need to press a button to continue. I just haven't finished reading or considering my options yet. It also slows me down since it'll dim the screen and cover part of the text.

This app is incredibly educational and very helpful and calming. I only wish there was more training on each individual skill, but otherwise its great! Edit (response to comment): Yes I did look at the skills package! It's awesome, but I still wish the game took a few steps further with training and reinforcement. If I wanted to truly get better at a skill, I would have to keep repeating the same skill level/packages/story, and that can get tedious.

I learned some new things about myself, and the story line was interesting. Some ideas were harder to understand than others, but i think that was just because i knew very little to begin with on those parts. Just showed me where i had room to grow. There were some spelling errors, But nothing big. I would have liked to have seen more examples and more quizzes. Just more in general. Very helpful in learning about thinking errors!!

This is a very good concept for a game but i feel like it could have been executed better. the choices they give you really make you lean towards a more obvious choice than your own. The in-app purchases need descriptions! i dont know what im buying in the packs. Also please make the tip to press the screen less intrusive, i am a slow reader and when the screen darkens and a hand pops up every 3 seconds it gets annoying.

Really interesting tool! It helps you consider how you respond to others and situations, and gives guidance towards healthy choices and responses. A bit corny but that's part of its charm! I look forward to updates. One thing I thought could be improved, the correct answer seems a bit obvious during some choices. I think having answers that are harder to differentiate between would be helpful, to make you really think about your choice.

I really enjoyed this! It's the first time I've found a free CBT app that's gamified. I agree with other users that it would be cool if we could respond the way we *actually* would in real life and then get to see how those play out vs. how the 'correct' version plays out. (or get to see which warped patterns we suffer from) But ultimately, that's a small nitpick and I would recommend this to everyone to just try out once. I really hope there will be more content in the future !

This app offers a really great way to learn casual psychology terms that really help you understand interactions with other people. It does well to equip you with the terminology and means of analysis to improve upon your relationships in a manner that is fun and easy to understand. I do with the personal analyses were a bit more thorough but thats just a preference. Also there are a considerable number of typos that need correcting. Luckily the typos do not detract from the lessons.

The idea for this app is special. I wish something like this came out sooner/more often, tbh. But I think the execution was somewhat BOTCHED. (I'm only speaking for the free-to-play bits). The concepts aren't very thoroughly explained, and can have you feeling confused through the VERY poor pacing. I ended up feeling like they weren't easy to understand. Adding a time to reflect on whats learned or a reminder of the concepts (i.e emotional bids) during the in-story game would be great, I think

I had spent time doing the survey at the end of the app (with a promise of free access to the next app). But the link in the end did not work! It was very frustrating. In response to my review, the developer got in touch and provided me with a working link. They definitely they need to invest more in QA to avoid issues similar to what I experienced. And UX design in general could be improved a lot. These factors are particularly important for a mental health app.

I really love this! It really helps you to be more open minded and self aware to things that are actually happening, and I absolutely love how you used the OCEAN (Big 5) test because as a fan of Typology, I really connect with this! The downside though, is how the loading screen is a little buggy and that I have to close it multiple times before getting it to reload, keep up the good work though! I'll hope to see more things to come!

I'm enjoying this app. There appears to be done display issues for me in the Agreeableness story in level 4. Some of the letter was not displayed on screen for me and the text at the end was up at and above the top of the screen, so I wasn't able to read it all. I'm using a OnePlus 6 so maybe it's a screen size ratio issue.

I do like the game. It's very creative, however, the hand pointing on the screen if I don't touch the game for like five seconds is infuriating. It gets in the way of words or just straight points out the answer, which I feel may be a flawed system because if I'm nit answering honestly how can the system get a fair estimate of my personality? Also there is no exact way to fail unless you deliberatly pick wrong answers. I wish your answers could have consequences, such as new endings to stories.

I decided to give this app 5 stars. I got to finish the game down the final story in chapter 5. This game is really well designed and very easy to use! I really like that it gives you choices and encourages you to answer as if you were really in that situation! It does explain our way of negative thinking and cognitive distortions greatly and helps you figure out how to beat it! I can't wait for more levels to be released! ❤️ Thank you!

In the books section it implies that taking the brace position when an airplane is crashing is useless - but it significantly increases your chances of survival if your plane starts falling out of the air. Otherwise, the game was cool. Would've given it five stars if not for that detail. It teaches you things but then makes you use them in a visual novel way. I generally react to visual novels the way I would act in real life, so having to consciously make decisions was helpful. Should be longer

Informative, but short... The skills presentented are very relevant and important for improving ones EQ. The concepts were well explained and easy to understand. However, the "course" was very short, and the game was pretty simplistic. I didn't feel like I gained as much out of it as the app description inferred. The app would benefit from having a "pretest" in order to judge ones EQ before and have a "final" to judge how much the app helped. The game needs to be more sophisticated as well.

LOVE the concept and execution! The lessons are easy to understand and easy to read, even from the standpoint of a teenager. The free content is quite educational and explained well, and the stories make sense. I'd just say towards level 5 and 6, it gets "grindy" where I'd have to do stories 5-10 times to get to the next level, and the text animation transitions make the grinding take longer. It was funner to not feel the grind work against me!

Very interesting concept for a game! I enjoyed learning more about various personality traits through real-life scenarios. I'm giving this 4 stars because of some navigation issues. I had to step away from a story when I was almost done with it and instead of the game taking me back to where I left off, I had to start over again. I also didn't like having to click through the map and menus to get to the next lesson every time. Besides those issues, this is a well thought out game. Thank you!

Wow! I'm sure impressed with this game! It combines a bit if story fun to teach valuable life skills and some challenging scenarios which really puts your mind to work. With these tools applied to real life situations, I feel that my personal relationships and self image could very well improve much more than just carrying on as I have for the past few years. Basically "winging it" as far as coping with not only heavily challenging things that have come my way, but with just every day life happe

I was looking for resources on the NHS website to help me cope with my mental health. This app came up and I was curious about it's different approach to things. So far I'm quite enjoying it! My only qualm is with some minor aesthetic issues in the text loading and how there is a lack of definitions or examples for some of the terms introduced. Other than that a really interesting take!

A. G. u. Apr 6, 2019

just beginning. I like the scenarios in the stories however I'm quite confused as to the nature of the app. it seems to progress further than the initial step, carries a monetary cost in real dollars. if the app is designed to support and improve people's mental and emotional health, I would think it would be a free app.

A. G. u. Apr 3, 2019

It was an interesting game, good at pointing out the psychology of certain healthy and unhealthy social interactions. I felt I was (unintentionally) misled into answering questions in not the way I would answer them, but the way a perfect hero might have. It was actually very important to much of the app that on certain questions the player answer truthfully to themself instead of what they thought the app would have as a correct answer. Also, the hand could have been left of after the intro.

I had high hopes for this app it was a great concept, unfortunately it was a flop for me. I really didn't learn anything other than clinical definitions, their examples, & how to pass the levels. I learned nothing about myself b/c the stories don't give you the option to answer honestly, it's answer to pass the level. This app could be immensely improved by simply letting users answer honestly & helping them grow from there. It also only takes 20mins to complete this app, needs way more time.

It's too early for me to tell yet, but the first story was engaging. I'm going through a lot of stress right now and it's helping me refocus. I always had that problem where I know all the right answers but applying that knowledge was difficult. This kinda helps me exersize that in a really basic way by at least reminding me of things. It's a little mental workout like going to the gym.

A. G. u. Apr 28, 2019

amazing idea. Enjoyed the stories and it is helpful to have a model of what to say in different circumstances. However sometimes it was too easy and it was very obvious what the right answer was. finished all five levels and I'm looking forward to more. maybe next they could have some more difficult scenarios.

A. G. u. May 10, 2019

👍👍👍 It's kinda easy as a game. But the educational aspects are great. It summarized a part of my year 12 psychology studies into a much smaller interactive and visual format that I really liked. However there are a few glitches at the end of the stories which I feel can be easily changed.
